high-temperature carbonized metal-organic frameworks(mOFs)derivatives have demonstrated their superiority for promising electromagnetic wave(EmW)absorbers,but they still suffer from limited EmW absorption capacity and narrow *** the advantage of microstructure and ch.m.cal composition regulation for the design of EmW absorber,hierarchical heterostructured moS_(2)/CoS_(2)-Co_(3)O_(4)@cabonized cotton fabric(CF)(mCC@CCF)is prepared by growing ZIF-67 mOFs onto CF surface,ch.m.cal etching,and *** from the dual loss mechanism of magnetic-dielectric multicomponent carbonized mOFs,ch.m.cal etching and carbonization process can effectively introduce abundant micro-gap structure that can result in better impedance matching and stronger absorption capacity via internal reflection,doped heteroatoms(mo,N,S)to supply additional dipolar polarization loss,and numerous heterointerfaces among moS_(2),CoS_(2),Co_(3)O_(4),and CCF that produce promoted conduction loss and interfacial polarization ***,a minimal reflection loss of−52.87 dB and a broadest effective absorption bandwidth of 6.88 Ghz were achieved via tunning the sample thickness and filler loading,showing excellent EmW absorption *** research is of great value for guiding the research on mOFs derivatives based EmW absorbing materials.

RhEOCASTING OF A356 ALLOY BY LOW SUPERhEAT POURING WITh A ShEARING FIELD

A novel semi-solid slurry-making process was developed, which was a controlled nucleation and growth technique using a specially designed rotational barrel. Experimental study was undertaken to investigate the effects of pouring temperature and rotation speed of barrel on the microstructure of A356 alloy. Localized rapid cooling, combined with vigorous mixing during the initial stage of solidification enhanced wall nucleation and nuclei survival. high nuclei density combined with a much gradual cooling afterwards led to the formation of the near-ideal semi-solid slurry under a large processing window for the pouring temperature. Primal. phase presented in mean equivalent diameter of 50-701μm and shape factor of 0.812-0.847, and featured zero-entrapped eutectic.

Oxidation Resistance of the Aluminide Coating Formed on Carbon Steels

Low and medium carbon steels were aluminized by the pack aluminizing technique using halideactivated pure-Al and Fe-Al packs. The effect of mixture composition, aluminizing temperatureand time and C content of the steel substrate on the structure and thickness of the aluminidelayer, and on the oxidation resistance was investigated. The optimum oxidation resistance canbe achieved with a low carbon steel substrate when the intermetallic phases Fe3Al and FeAlform the surface of the aluminide layer. In this case, the Al concentration at the surface of thealuminide coating is at least ≥15 wt pct. Formation of high Al concentration phases (FeAl3 andFe2Al5) during aluminizing should be avoided as they tend to embrittle the aluminide layer andreduce its oxidation resistance.

Influence of Sanitization Process on maintaining Sweet Potato Quality for Export

The whole cold-chain for exporting sweet potato(native variety“Abees”),to foreign market included immediate curing operation directly after harvest helped in healing skin texture,however,in order to reduce postharvest soft rot(Rhizopus stolonifer)incidence following trimming,and washing,ultraviolet light(UV-C)treatment was used as a main sanitizer for eliminating the soft *** of the roots to UV-C(254 nm)was applied in a UV-C room on freshly harvested and cured sweet potato while rolling up on a movable line at 20 cm distance for 1,2,and 3 *** combining UV-C treatment with chlorine(200 ppm)on roots,marked and significant reduction of the total microbial load and Rhizopus potential was achieved on root surfaces respectively compared with chlorine *** also reduced soft rot percentage to almost 0%*** 3 months of cold-storage,quality assessment of sweet potato showed that root characteristics were markedly *** ability of UV-C light to induce phenylalanine ammonia lyase(PAL)enzyme activity in root tissue and maintain the activities of peroxidase and polyphenol oxidase,however with slight increase,was ***-C caused an increase of phenol content in sweet potato tissue that made an activation of defense reaction against the rot causal *** the exposure time to UV-C light increased,a higher content of phenols ***,UV-C application caused decrease in sugar content of root tissue that is flavored by soft rot-causal pathogen.

On an isotropic porous solid cylinder:the analytical solution and sensitivity analysis of the pressure

Within this work,we perform a sensitivity analysis to determine the influence of the material input parameters on the pressure in an isotropic porous solid *** provide a step-by-step guide to obtain the analytical solution for a porous isotropic elastic cylinder in terms of the pressure,stresses,and elastic *** obtain the solution by performing a Laplace transform on the governing equations,which are those of Biot's poroelasticity in cylindrical polar *** enforce radial boundary conditions and obtain the solution in the Laplace transformed domain before reverting back to the time *** sensitivity analysis is then carried out,considering only the derived pressure *** analysis finds that the time t,Biot's modulus m,and Poisson's ratio ν have the highest influence on the pressure whereas the initial value of pressure P_(0) plays a very little role.
