The construction of C-N bonds is of great importance in the fields of biology,medicine,chemistry and materials ***,the replacement of organic base from pyridine to piperidine in the Knoevenagel condensation process unexpectedly yields a series of novel organic molecules containing C-N ***,the synthesis method does not require any external transition-metals catalysis,and photo-/***,when the new compound 1b is added as a third component to a well-known binary system of PM6:Y6,the efficiency of the organic solar cell is significantly improved,resulting in an outstanding efficiency of 18.0%,which is one of the highest values reported to date for PM6:Y6-based ternary organic solar cells.

Lithium cobalt oxide(LCO),the first commercialized cathode active material for lithium-ion batteries,is known for high voltage and ***,its application has been limited by relatively low capacity and stability at high *** particle size is considered one of the most straightforward and effective strategies to enhance ion transfer,thus increasing the rate ***,side reactions are simultaneously enhanced as the specific surface area ***,we investigate the impact of LCO particles with varying size distributions and optimize the particle *** modulate the side reactions associated with particle size reduction,an ultrathin carbon nanotube film(UCNF)is introduced to coat the cathode *** this simple process and optimized particle size,the rate performance improves significantly,normal commercial LCO achieves 118 mA·h·g^(−1)at 3.0–4.3 V and 20 C(0.72 mA·h·cm^(−2)),corresponding to power density of 8732 W·kg^(−1).This method is applied to high voltage as well,152 mA·h·g^(−1)at 3.0–4.6 V and 20 C(0.99 mA·h·cm^(−2))was achieved with high-voltage LCO(hVLCO),corresponding to power density of 11,552 W·kg^(−1).The cycling stability is also enhanced,with the capacity retention maintaining more than 96%after 100 cycles at 0.1 *** the first time,UCNF is demonstrated to suppress the excessive decomposition of the electrolytes and solvents by blocking electron injection/extraction between LCO and electrolyte *** findings provide a simple method for improving LCO rate performance,especially at high C-rates.

The worldwide burden of skeletal diseases such as osteoporosis,degenerative joint disease and impaired fracture healing is steadily *** acid(TXA),a plasminogen inhibitor and anti-fibrinolytic agent,is used to reduce bleeding with high effectiveness and safety in major surgical *** its widespread clinical application,the effects of TXA beyond anti-fibrinolysis have been noticed and prompted renewed interest in its *** clinical trials have characterized the effects of TXA on reducing postoperative infection rates and regulating immune responses in patients undergoing ***,several animal studies suggest potential therapeutic effects of TXA on skeletal diseases such as osteoporosis and fracture *** a direct effect of TXA on the differentiation and function of bone cells in vitro was shown,few mechanisms of action have been ***,we summarize recent findings of the effects of TXA on skeletal diseases and discuss the underlying plasminogen-dependent and-independent mechanisms related to bone metabolism and the immune *** furthermore discuss potential novel indications for TXA application as a treatment strategy for skeletal diseases.

The development of highly selective,cost-effective,and energy-efficient electrocatalysts is critical for carbon dioxide reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR)to produce high-value ***,we propose a facile strategy to obtain F,N co-doped carbon-coated iron carbide(Fe3C)nanoparticles by using biomolecule guanine and hexadecafluorophthalocyanine iron as raw ***,this method involves only one-step pyrolysis and does not require any guiding agent or sacrificial *** from the advantageous surface microenvironment adjustments achieved through graphitic N(GN)and F co-doping,Fe3C@NF-G-1000 demonstrates exceptional efficacy in the electroreduction of CO_(2)to carbon monoxide(CO)with an impressive Faradic efficiency(FEco)up to 98%at the potential of−0.55 V(*** hydrogen electrode(RhE)).Furthermore,it delivers a remarkable current density of up to−43 mA·cm^(−2)and exhibits virtually no current attenuation over a span of 20 h within the flow *** from density functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal that the composite structure of GN and F co-doped graphitic layer and Fe3C exhibits different electron density distributions from that of iron carbide *** is attributed to the synergistic effect of the composite structure leading to the enrichment of electrons in the graphite layer on the surface,which contributes to the stability of the key reaction intermediate*COOh,thus,resulting in an enhanced catalytic activity and ***,this work introduces a new and promising approach to the design of green and low-cost carbon-coated metal materials for CO_(2)reduction reactions.

Rechargeable Mg-ion batteries(MIbs)have attracted much more attentions by virtue of the high capacity from the two electrons ***,the reversible Mg^(2+)diffusion in cathode materials is restricted by the strong interactions between the high-polarized bivalent Mg^(2+)ions and anionic ***,we design and propose a hetero-structural VO_(2)(R)-VS_(4)cathode,in which the re-delocalized d-electrons can effectively shield the polarity of Mg^(2+)***,the electrons should spontaneously transfer from VS_(4)to VO_(2)(R)through the interfaces of hetero-structure due to the lower work function value of VS_(4).Furthermore,the internal electrons transfer lead to the electronic injection into VO_(2)(R)from VS_(4)and the partially broken V-V dimers,indicating the presence of lone pair electrons and charge *** from the shield effect of re-delocalized electrons,and the weakened attraction between cations and O/S anions enables more S^(2-)-S_(2)^(2-)redox groups to participate the electrochemical reactions and compensate the double charge of Mg^(2+)***,VO_(2)(R)-VS_(4)hetero-structure exhibits a high specific capacity of 554 mA h g^(-1)at 50 mA g^(-1).It is believed that the charge re-delocalization of cathode extremely boost the Mg^(2+)ions migration for the high-capacity of MIbs.

Safe confinement of fission iodine isotopes for long-term radioactive waste disposal remains a formidable challenge,as conventional sorbents provide inherently weak iodine-host *** report here a novel halogen bond(X-bond)directed strategy to sequester volatile iodine in hydrogen-bonded(h-bonded)frameworks with unprecedented ***-assisted hbonded frameworks bearing open halide sites are developed,showing distinctive iodine encapsulation behaviors without compromising the *** crystallographic evidence indicates the formation of X-bonds,i.e.,I–I···Cl^(−) and I–I···br^(−),within the confined pore *** polyhalogen anions,i.e.,[I_(2)Cl_(2)]^(2−)and[I_(2)br_(2)]^(2−),sustained in h-bonded frameworks are identified for the first *** X-bond reinforced host-guest interaction affords robust iodine trapping without leaking out even at elevated temperatures up to 180℃.by integrating the halogen-bond chemistry with h-bonded frameworks,this study offers fresh concepts for developing effective host reservoirs to secure fission iodine isotopes from spent fuel reprocessing off-gases.

Electrochemical oxidation is an effective method to degrade persistent organic ***,due to the limited catalytic activity of traditional thin film electrodes,the anodic oxidation process is slow and usually requires high energy ***,Ti/SnO_(2)-Sb electrode with regulated surface structure was reported to enhance the performance for electrochemical oxidation of persistent organic *** electrode deposited with SnO_(2)-Sb nanoneedles(Ti/N-SnO_(2)-Sb)showed higher oxidation *** kinetic constant for perfluorooctanoic acid(PFOA)oxidation was 2.0 h^(-1)and the total organic carbon removal rate was 81.7%(4 h)at a relatively low current density of 6 mA/cm^*** with Ti/SnO_(2)-Sb thin film and nanoparticles,Ti/N-SnO_(2)-Sb significantly improved the electrochemical active area and·Oh yield,and simultaneously reduced the electron transfer resistance,which enabled it to oxidize PFOA more rapidly even at a lower *** work provides a new strategy for promoting the electrochemical oxidation performance.

In this paper, we study the existence of solutions for Kirchhoff equation■ with mass constraint condition■ where a, b, c > 0, μ ∈ R, 2 he range of p and q, the Sobolev critical exponent 6 and mass critical exponent143are involved where corresponding energy functional is unbounded from below on Sc. We consider the focusing case,i.e., μ > 0 when(p, q) belongs to a certain domain in R2. We prove the existence of normalized solutions by using constraint minimization, concentration compactness principle and Minimax methods. We partially extend the results which have been studied.

Defect modulation currently plays a decisive role in addressing the poor photoabsorption,sluggish electron hole separation,and high CO_(2)activation barrier in photocatalytic CO_(2)***,hunting for a straightforward strategy to balance the concentration of oxygen vacancy and metal cation defect in one photocatalyst is still a great ***,a bismuth vacancies biObr nanosheets(biObr-1)on the exposed[001]facets were constructed via an acetic acid molecule modification strategy,which can repair oxygen defect by bismuth vacancy in low-temperature solid-state chemical *** from the formed bismuth defects that can not only broaden light absorption and elevate charge separation efficiency,but also enhance adsorption and activation of CO_(2)molecules,the evolution rates of photocatalytic CO_(2)conversion into CO(71.23μmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1))and Ch4(8.90μmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1))attained by biObr-1 are superior 7.1 and 11 times to that of plate-like *** photocatalytic mechanisms including adsorption concentration and activation process of CO_(2)are further revealed by the in situ diffuse reflectance infrared flourier transform spectra(DRIFTS).This finding of the existence of distinct defects in ultrathin nanosheets undoubtedly leads to new possibilities for photocatalyst design using two-dimensional materials with high solar-driven photocatalytic activity.
