Vertebrate neurons are highly dynamic cells that undergo several alterations in their functioning and physiologies in adaptation to various external *** particular,how these neurons respond to physical exercise has long been an area of active *** of the vertebrate locomotor system’s adaptability suggest multiple mechanisms are involved in the regulation of neuronal activity and properties during *** this brief review,we highlight recent results and insights from the field with a focus on the following mechanisms:(a)alterations in neuronal excitability during acute exercise;(b)alterations in neuronal excitability after chronic exercise;(c)exercise-induced changes in neuronal membrane properties via modulation of ion channel activity;(d)exercise-enhanced dendritic plasticity;and(e)exercise-induced alterations in neuronal gene expression and protein *** hope is to update the community with a cellular and molecular understanding of the recent mechanisms underlying the adaptability of the vertebrate locomotor system in response to both acute and chronic physical exercise.

this paper focuses on the performance of equalizer zero-determinant(ZD)strategies in discounted repeated stackelberg asymmetric *** the leader-follower adversarial scenario,the strong stackelberg equilibrium(ssE)deriving from the opponents’best response(BR),is technically the optimal strategy for the ***,computing an ssE strategy may be difficult since it needs to solve a mixed-integer program and has exponential complexity in the number of *** this end,the authors propose an equalizer ZD strategy,which can unilaterally restrict the opponent’s expected *** authors first study the existence of an equalizer ZD strategy with one-to-one situations,and analyze an upper bound of its performance with the baseline ssE *** the authors turn to multi-player models,where there exists one player adopting an equalizer ZD *** authors give bounds of the weighted sum of opponents’s utilities,and compare it with the ssE ***,the authors give simulations on unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)and the moving target defense(MtD)to verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

shock wave focusing is an effective way to create a hot spot or a high-pressure and hightemperature region at a certain place,showing its unique usage in detonation initiation,which is beneficial for the development of detonation-based *** flame propagation behavior after the autoignition induced by shock wave focusing is crucial to the formation and self-sustaining of the detonation *** this study,wedge reflectors with two different angles(60°and 90°)and a planar reflector are employed,and the Mach number of incident shock waves ranging from 2.0 to 2.8 is utilized to trigger different flame propagation *** pressure transducers and the high-speed schlieren imaging system are both employed to investigate the shock-shock collision and ignition *** results reveal a total of four flame propagation modes:deflagration,DDt(Deflagration-to-Detonation transition),unsteady detonation,and direct *** detonation wave formed in the DDt and unsteady detonation mode is only approximately 75%-85%of the Chapman-jouguet(C-j)speed;meanwhile,the directly induced detonation wave speed is close to the C-j *** waves,which are strong evidence for the existence of detonation waves,are discovered in *** usage of wedge reflectors significantly reduces the initial pressure difference ratio needed for direct detonation *** also provide a practical method for differentiating between detonation and deflagration modes,which involves contrasting the speed of the reflected shock wave with the speed of the theoretically nonreactive reflected shock *** findings should serve as a reference for the detonation initiation technique in advanced detonation propulsion engines.

Nutrient levels in the artificial channel constructed for the Middle Route project are significant indicators of water quality safety and aquatic ecological integrity for this large,interbasin ***,the distribution and transport of nutrients along the channel were poorly *** on a time-series dataset as well as mass balance and material flow analysis methods,the water and nutrient transport fluxes in the Middle Route of the south-to-North Water Diversion project were identified in this *** results indicate that the nutrient concentrations varied considerably with time,but there was no significant difference among the 30 stations of the main *** temperature difference was the major factor in the large fluctuations of water quality indicators over *** nutrient loadings varied with the water volume outputs from the main channel to the waterreceiving *** deposition was an important source of nutrients in the main channel,accounting for 9.13%,20.6%,and 0.635%of the nitrogen,phosphorus,and sulfur input from the Danjiangkou Reservoir,*** 2021,a net accumulation of 988 tons of N,29 tons of p,and 2,540 tons of s,respectively,were present in the main *** increase of these external and internal nutrient loadings would cause water quality fluctuation and deterioration in some local sections of the main *** study quantified the spatial and temporal patterns of nutrient transport in the Middle Route and revealed the ecological effects on the aquatic environment,assisting authorities on the project to develop effective water conservation strategies.

A prediction framework based on the evolution of pattern motion probability density is proposed for the output prediction and estimation problem of non-Newtonian mechanical systems,assuming that the system satisfies the generalized Lipschitz *** a complex nonlinear system primarily governed by statistical laws rather than Newtonian mechanics,the output of non-Newtonian mechanics systems is difficult to describe through deterministic variables such as state variables,which poses difficulties in predicting and estimating the system’s *** this article,the temporal variation of the system is described by constructing pattern category variables,which are non-deterministic *** pattern category variables have statistical attributes but not operational attributes,operational attributes are assigned to them by posterior probability density,and a method for analyzing their motion laws using probability density evolution is ***,a data-driven form of pattern motion probabilistic density evolution prediction method is designed by combining pseudo partial derivative(ppD),achieving prediction of the probability density satisfying the system’s output *** on this,the final prediction estimation of the system’s output value is realized by minimum variance unbiased ***,a corresponding ppD estimation algorithm is designed using an extended state observer(EsO)to estimate the parameters to be estimated in the proposed prediction *** effectiveness of the parameter estimation algorithm and prediction method is demonstrated through theoretical analysis,and the accuracy of the algorithm is verified by two numerical simulation examples.

Experiments and modelling are conducted for general understanding on the imbalance phenomenon and for discussion on the strategies to improve the bed inventory balance and stability of a dual circulating fluidized bed(DCFB)*** experiments are carried out in a 15.5 m high pilot-scale DCFB cold test system.A fluid-dynamic DCFB model is developed based on a 1.5-dimensional semi-empirical model of an industrial CFB boiler,validated by experimental *** effects of control methods and operation conditions on the bed inventory balance and on the stability of the pilot-and large-scale DCFB systems are discussed.A"stable-unbalanced"state,where the system reaches a steady state,consisting of un-balanced bed inventories,is observed in both experiments and model *** maintain a balanced state and similar bed inventory in the DCFB systems with similar cross-sectional areas,it is recom-mended to keep similar total pressure drops or gas velocities in both reactors.

Market participants can only bid with lagged information disclosure under the existing market mechanism,which can lead to information asymmetry and irrational market behavior,thus influencing market *** promote rational bidding behavior of market participants and improve market efficiency,a novel electricity market mechanism based on cloudedge collaboration is proposed in this *** market information,called residual demand curve,is published to market participants in real-time on the cloud side,while participants on the edge side are allowed to adjust their bids according to the information disclosure prior to closure *** proposed mechanism can encourage rational bids in an incentive-compatible way through the process of dynamic equilibrium while protecting participants’*** paper further formulates the mathematical model of market equilibrium to simulate the process of each market participant’s strategic bidding behavior towards equilibrium.A case study based on the IEEE 30-bus system shows the proposed market mechanism can effectively guide bidding behavior of market participants,while condensing exchanged information and protecting privacy of participants.

Current mainstream unsupervised video object segmentation(UVOs) approaches typically incorporate optical flow as motion information to locate the primary objects in coherent video frames. however, they fuse appearance and motion information without evaluating the quality of the optical flow. When poor-quality optical flow is used for the interaction with the appearance information, it introduces significant noise and leads to a decline in overall performance. to alleviate this issue, we first employ a quality evaluation module(QEM) to evaluate the optical flow. then, we select high-quality optical flow as motion cues to fuse with the appearance information, which can prevent poor-quality optical flow from diverting the network's attention. Moreover, we design an appearance-guided fusion module(AgFM) to better integrate appearance and motion information. Extensive experiments on several widely utilized datasets, including DAVIs-16, FBMs-59, and you tube-Objects, demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms existing methods.
