A heterogeneous double chamber electro-Fenton with high production of h_(2)O_(2) using La–CeO_(2) modified graphite felt as cathode

hydrogen peroxide synthesis by electro-reduction of O_(2) to substitute the current anthraquinone process has attracted a great deal of attention. Low oxygen utilization rate and low hydrogen peroxide production remain obstacles to electro-Fenton application. In situ h_(2)O_(2) generated by electrochemical reaction depends on the electrochemical performance of the cathode and the structure of the reactor. here, novel graphite felt(GF) modified by La-doped CeO_(2)(La-CeO_(2)) was developed as a cathode. A new double chamber electro-Fenton reactor was proposed, where an organic ultrafiltration membrane was used to prevent h_(2)O_(2) from spreading to the anode. The effects of hydrothermal temperature, time and urea concentration on the electrochemical properties of graphite felt were investigated. The accumulated concentration of h_(2)O_(2) on the modified cathode reached 218.4 mg·L^(-1)in 1 h when the optimal conditions of hydrothermal temperature 120 ℃ and urea concentration 0.55%(mass) in 24 h. The degradation rate of methyl orange reached 98.29%. The new electro-Fenton reactor can efficiently produce hydrogen peroxide to degrade various organic substances and has a high potential for treating wastewater in the chemical industry.

A novel nickel（Ⅱ） complex Ni（Iz）2（Bdc）（h2O）2 （Iz = imidazole, Bdc = 1,4-benzenedicarboxylate） has been synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray analysis. The crystal is of monoclinic, space group P2 1/n with a = 5.5079（5）, b = 15.0973, c = 9.9825（9） A, β = 90.2380（10）°, C14h16N4NiO6, Mr = 395.02, Z = 2, V = 830.08（13） A^3 Dc = 1.580 g/cm^3, μ（MoKa） = 1.208 mm^-1, F（000） = 408, R = 0.0234 and wR = 0.0603 for 1379 observed reflections （I 〉 2σ（I））. In the title complex, adjacent nickel（Ⅱ） ions are bridged through the oxygen atoms of carboxylic groups in syn-anti conformation, yielding an infinite one-dimensional chain. These chains are linked to each other to form a 3-D network structure by three kinds of hydrogen-bonding interactions.

We study the heat flow of equation of h-surface with non-zero Dirichlet boundary in the present article. Introducing the "stable set" M2 and "unstable set" M1, we show that there exists a unique global solution provided the initial data belong to M2 and the global solution converges to zero in h^1 exponentially as time goes to infinity. Moreover, we also prove that the local regular solution must blow up at finite time provided the initial data belong to M1.

Growth of SiCGe ternary alloy on 6h-SiC in a conventional hot-wall CVD system was initially studied. Sih4, Geh4 and C3h8 were employed as silicon, germanium and carbon source, respectively, while h2 was employed as the carrier gas. To reduce the heavy lattice mismatch between the film and the substrate, a 3C-SiC buffer layer was inserted between them in a CVD process. Optimizing the growth conditions was discussed. The samples were measured by means of SEM, SAXRD (Small Angle X-Ray Diffraction). It is shown that use of the 3C-SiC buffer layer is an effective way to improve the quality of the ternary alloy.

Background hesperidin is a citrus flavonoid with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant potential. however, its protective effects on bovine mammary epithelial cells(b MECs) exposed to oxidative stress have not been *** In this study, we investigated the effects of hesperidin on h_(2)O_(2)-induced oxidative stress in b MECs and the underlying molecular mechanism. We found that hesperidin attenuated h_(2)O_(2)-induced cell damage by reducing reactive oxygen species(ROS) and malondialdehyde(MDA) levels, increasing catalase(CAT) activity, and improving cell proliferation and mitochondrial membrane potential. Moreover, hesperidin activated the Keap1/Nrf2/ARE signaling pathway by inducing the nuclear translocation of Nrf2 and the expression of its downstream genes NQO1 and hO-1, which are antioxidant enzymes involved in ROS scavenging and cellular redox balance. The protective effects of hesperidin were blocked by the Nrf2 inhibitor ML385, indicating that they were Nrf2 *** Our results suggest that hesperidin could protect b MECs from oxidative stress injury by activating the Nrf2 signaling pathway, suggesting that hesperidin as a natural antioxidant has positive potential as a feed additive or plant drug to promote the health benefits of bovine mammary.

This paper reports that low-temperature heat capacities of N-methylnorephedrine C11h17NO（s） have been measured by a precision automated adiabatic calorimeter over the temperature range from T=78K to T=400K. A solid to liquid phase transition of the compound was found in the heat capacity curve in the temperature range of T=342-364 K. The peak temperature, molar enthalpy and entropy of fusion of the substance were determined. The experimental values of the molar heat capacities in the temperature regions of T=78-342 K and T=364-400 K were fitted to two poly- nomial equations of heat capacities with the reduced temperatures by least squares method. The smoothed molar heat capacities and thermodynamic functions of N-methylnorephedrine C11h17NO（s） relative to the standard refer- ence temperature 298.15 K were calculated based on the fitted polynomials and tabulated with an interval of 5 K. The constant-volume energy of combustion of the compound at T=298.15 K was measured by means of an isoperibol precision oxygen-bomb combustion calorimeter. The standard molar enthalpy of combustion of the sample was calculated. The standard molar enthalpy of formation of the compound was determined from the combustion enthalpy and other auxiliary thermodynamic data through a hess thermochemical cycle.

The h7 subtype avian influenza threatens public health with respect to poultry and ***,a specific and sensitive diagnostic test is essential for the management of h7 subtype influenza *** this study,five mouse monoclonal antibodies(mAbs)against hemagglutinin(hA)of influenza A/Anhui/1/2013(h7N9)were produced and characterized by the Western blot,immunofluorescence,and hemagglutination inhibition *** five specific mAbs reacted with the hA protein of h7N9 but not with that of h1 N1,h3 N2,or h5 *** the combination arrays of capture and detection antibodies,the matched pair m Abs(1 C4-coated and 2 D7-labeled)were selected and employed in a double-antibody sandwich ELISA(DASELISA).Detection limits of the sandwich ELISA were 0.45 ng mL^–1 for the hA protein derived from A/Anhui/1/2013(h7N9);or 1 and 2 hA units/50μL for A/Anhui/1/2013(h7N9)and A/GD/17 SF003/2016(h7N9),*** anti-hA mAbs against subtype h7 and the novel DAS-ELISA provide a valuable approach for specific detection of the h7 subtype influenza virus and quantification of its hA protein,especially for the novel epidemic h7N9.
