We reanalyzed experimental data already published in Friedman J R, Zhang Y, Dai P, et al. Phys Rev B, 1996, 53（15）： 9528. Variable range hopping （VRh） conduction in the insulating three-dimensional n-Cdse samples has been studied over the entire temperature range from 0.03 to 1 K. In the absence of a magnetic field, the low temperature conductivity a of the three samples （A, B and C） obeys the Mott VRh conduction with an appropriate temperature dependence in the prefactor （a = σ0 exp [- （T0/T）]^p with p ≈ 0.25）. This behavior can be explained by a VRh model where the transport occurs by hopping between localized states in the vicinity of the Fermi level, EF, without creation of the Coulomb gap （CG）. On the contrary, no Efros-shklovskii VRh is observed, suggesting that the density is constant in the vicinity of the EF.

Parameter estimation for ordinary differential equations arises in many fields of science and engineering. To be the best of our knowledge, traditional methods are often either computationally intensive or inaccurate for statistical inference. Ramsay et al.(2007) proposed a generalized profiling procedure. It is easily implementable and has been demonstrated to have encouraging numerical performance. however, little is known about statistical properties of this procedure. In this paper, we provide a theoretical justification of the generalized profiling procedure. Under some regularity conditions, the procedure is shown to be consistent for a broad range of tuning parameters. When the tuning parameters are sufficiently large, the procedure can be further shown to be asymptotically normal and efficient.

Background:Trastuzumab emtansine is the current standard treatment for patients with human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(hER2)-positive metastatic breast cancer whose disease progresses after treatment with a combination of anti-hER2 antibodies and a ***:We conducted a phase 3,multicenter,open-label,randomized trial to compare the efficacy and safety of trastuzumab deruxtecan(a hER2 antibody-drug conjugate)with those of trastuzumab emtansine in patients with hER2-positive metastatic breast cancer previously treated with trastuzumab and a *** primary end point was progression-free survival(as determined by blinded independent central review);secondary end points included overall survival,objective response,and safety.

Despite the great achievements made in improvement of wear resistance properties of aluminum alloys, their applications in heavy surface load-bearing are limited. single coating is insufficient to produce the desired combination of surface properties. These problems can be solved through the duplex coatings. The aim of the present study is to overview the research advances on processes of duplex coatings on (aluminum) alloys combined with micro plasma oxidation process and with other modern processes such as physical vapour deposition and plasma assisted chemical vapour deposition and also to evaluate the performance of micro plasma oxidation coatings in improving the load-bearing, friction and wear resistance properties of aluminum alloys in comparison with other coatings. Wherein, a more detailed presentation of the processes and their performances and disadvantages are given as well.

Aim To review the perceptions of dental/medical educators and their students in the United states on the adequacy of didactic and clinical preparation to provide service for individuals with disabilities. Methodology An e-mailed questionnaire with follow-up was sent to 198 deans of dental/medical schools, 1,628 directors of residency programs in nine medical/dental residency programs, 427 medical students in 12 medical schools, and 368 health related organizations, facilities and programs. Results More than half （58%） of the responding deans of medical schools and 50% of the deans of dental schools reported that a curriculum for patients with disabilities was not a high priority at their school. A majority （61%） of deans of medical schools, and 47% of the deans of dental schools, reported that their graduates were competent to treat patients with disabilities. however, majorities of dental/ medical school seniors and graduates expressed inadequate competency in the care of these patients. A majority of the directors of medical/dental residencies indicated a need for additional training for their residents. Conclusion There is need for increased didactic and clinical preparation of dental/medical school graduates in the care of individuals with special health needs. The interest expressed by health profession educators in an effort to develop appropriate curriculum modules provides an opportunity to prepare new graduates for the care of an increasing population of individuals with disabilities.

This paper describes an experimental work to investigate the effect of a reflector on supersonic jet noise radiated from a convergent-divergent nozzle with a design Mach number *** the present study,a metal reflector and reflectors made of three different sound-absorbing materials(grass wool and polyurethane foam)were employed,and the reflector size was *** measurement is carried out to obtain the acoustic characteristics such as frequency,amplitude of screech tone and overall sound pressure level(OAsPL).A high-quality schlieren optical system is used to visualize the detailed structure of supersonic *** results obtained show that the acoustic characteristics of supersonic jet noise are strongly dependent upon the jet pressure ratio and the reflector *** is also found that the reflector with sound-absorbing material reduces the screech tone amplitude by about 5-13dB and the overall sound pressure levels by about 2-5dB,compared with those of the metal reflector.

在欧洲大约每15名妇女中有一人在一生中会患乳腺癌,这一事实说明乳腺的诊断具有很大意义。越来越广泛的研究证明:40～50岁以上的女性病人通过定期影象检查可早期发现,并降低死亡率。单凭乳腺X线照相便可作为筛选检查,故其具有较高的敏感性、比较简便易行、人力财力均较合理。不论是筛选检查还是对有症状妇女的诊断,自然都存在着及时发现丰满乳房(如青年妇女)的病理改变,而所有影象学方法的特异性又很小的问题。一般来说,可疑病变越小,则临床征象越不典型。所以有人报道:已发现而临床未触及的肿瘤,其阴性活检率为2～10%。
