Microbiome is an endocrine organ that refers to both the complicated biological system of microbial species that colonize our bodies and their genomes and *** studies confirm the connection between the microbiome and eye diseases,which are involved in the pathogenesis of eye diseases,including age-related macular disorders,diabetic retinopathy,glaucoma,retinitis pigmentosa,dry eye,and *** aim of this review is to investigate the microbiome in relation to eye ***,a brief introduction of the characteristics of the gut microorganisms terms of composition and work,the role of dysbiosis,the gut microbiome and the eye microbiome in the progression of eye illnesses are highlighted,then the relationship among the microbiome and the function of the immune system and eye diseases,the role of inflammation and aging and the immune system,It has been reviewed and finally,the control and treatment goals of microbiome and eye diseases,the role of food factors and supplements,biotherapy and antibiotics in relation to microbiome and eye health have been reviewed.

The demand to satisfy environmental and economic performance requirements of buildings highlights the application of the responsive skin facades in offering superior performance,as compared to conventional faç*** this respect,responsive skins have become a growing field of research during the recent decade while a thorough review of studies investigating their design and technology aspects is still *** fill the identified gap,this study aims to present a systematic literature review and state of the art in an untouched research area of the responsive skins,integrated with their geometric and mechanism design *** this end,a total of 89 studies,collected from two major bibliographic databases of Scopus and Google Scholar from the first of 2010 to the mid of 2021,were reviewed and several classifications and analyses on the associated design thinking,skin systems and responsive mechanisms were *** gap analysis of the findings indicates that the lack of controllable substitution design for mechanical skins is one of the reasons preventing the application of responsive skins in construction ***,the gap between simulation and constructability and the relationship between the designed skin geometry with climatic analysis and performance provide basis for future studies.

Among the difficulties that influence future dam operations,reservoir sedimentation is the most problematic for *** study predicted the amount and pattern of sedimentation for use in estimation of the useful lifespan of reservoirs and identification of optimal locations for outlets and intakes at the initial stages of dam *** surveys of different dams can provide better insight into this *** Dam in Iran has conducted hydrographic surveys during 7 time *** amount and process of sedimentation in this reservoir were determined,and predictions of distribution of sediments were validated by well-known,common *** formation of a delta in the reservoir was investigated for different time periods after *** problems due to the impacts of sedimentation on dam operation and the useful lifespan of the reservoir were *** addition,the study results may be used for developing empirical methods to predict sedimentation patterns in other reservoirs.

A courtyard is an architectural design element which is often known as microclimate modifiers and is responsible to increase the indoor occupant comfort in traditional architecture. The aim of this study is to conduct a parametric evaluation of courtyard design variants in a residential building of different climates with a focus on indoor thermal comfort and utility costs. A brute-force approach is applied to generate a wide range of design alternatives and the simulation workflow is conducted by Grasshopper together with the environmental plugins Ladybug and honeybee. The main study objective is the evaluation of the occupant thermal comfort in an air-conditioned residential building, energy load, and cost analysis, derived from different design variables including courtyard geometry, window-to-wall ratio, envelope materials, heating, and cooling set-point dead-bands, and building geographical location. Furthermore, a Deep Learning model is developed using the inputs and outputs of the simulation and analysis to transform the outcomes into the algorithmic and tangible environment feasible for predictive applications. The results suggest that regarding the thermal loads, costs, and indoor thermal comfort index (PMV), there are high correlations between the outdoor weather variation and dead-band ranges, while in extreme climates such as Singapore, courtyard spaces might not be efficient enough as expected. Finally, the highly accurate deep learning model is also developed, delivering superior predictive capabilities for the thermal comfort and utility costs of the courtyard designs.

A two-dimensional vertical(2DV),Eulerian two-phase model or complete two-fluid model of the free surface flow was developed to simulate water-sediment flow in a local scour *** the model,the complete forms of the vertical,two-dimensional,two-fluid Navier-Stokes equations were discretized using a finite volume *** discretization was done based on a standard staggered grid system using a curvilinear network system in compliance with the bed boundaries and water *** the beginning of the computational cycle,the equations governing the fluid phase were solved based on the two-step projection method with a pressure-correction *** the first step,the intermediate fluid velocities were obtained by solving different phases of the mome ntum equatio ns of the fluid phase using the time-splitting *** the second step,pressure was obtained and fluid velocities we re *** this step a simple discretization method was applied for decreasing the computational *** obtaining all the fluid phase variables at a new time step,the sediment phase momentum equations were solved using the time-splitting technique and sediment velocities were ***,at the end of the computational cycle,the sediment phase mass equation was solved and the concentrations of both phases were *** last,the capacity of the model for simulating of the longitudinal fluid velocity and sediment concentration in a local scour hole was *** results were found to be in good agreement with experimental data.

Background:Little is known about potential urban-rural differences in adverse pregnancy *** purpose of this study is to look into the urban-rural differences in the trend of adverse maternal and neonatal ***:We retrospectively assessed the pregnancy outcome of singleton pregnant mothers who gave birth at a tertiary hospital in Bandar Abbas,Iran,between January 1st,2020,and January 1st,*** were divided into two groups based on living residency:1)urban groupand 2)rural *** factors,obstetrical factors,maternal comorbidities,and adverse maternal and neonatal outcomeswere extracted from the electronic data of each *** Chi-square testwas used to compare differences between the groups for categorical *** regression models were used to assess the association of adverse pregnancy,childbirth,and neonatal outcome with living ***:Of 8888 mothers that gave birth during the study period,2989(33.6%)lived in rural *** pregnancy was more common in the rural *** mothers had a higher education than rural *** mothers were at higher risk for preterm birth aOr 1.81(CI:1.24-2.99),post-term pregnancy aOr 1.5(CI:1.07-2.78),anemia aOr 2.02(CI:1.07-2.34),low birth weight(LBW)aOr 1.89(CI:1.56-2.11),need for neonatal resuscitation aOr 2.66(CI:1.78-3.14),and neonatal intensive care unit(NICU)admission aOr 1.98(CI:1.34-2.79).On the other hand,the risk of cesarean section was significantly lower compared to urban mothers aOr 0.58(CI:0.34-0.99).Conclusions:Our study discovered that mothers living in rural areas had a higher risk of developing anemia,preterm birth,post-term pregnancies,LBW,need for neonatal resuscitation,and NICU admission,but a lower risk of cesarean section.

Vernacular buildings are known for their localized passive settings to provide comfortable indoor environment without air conditioning *** alternative is the consistent ground temperature over the year that earth-sheltered envelopes take the benefit;however,ensuring annual indoor comfort might be ***,this research monitors the indoor thermal indicators of 22 earth-sheltered buildings in Meymand,Iran with a warmdry ***,the observations are used to validate the simulation results through two outdoor and indoor environmental parameters,air temperature and relative humidity during the hottest period of the *** indicated that the main thermal comfort differences among case studies were mainly due to their architectural layouts where the associated variables including length,width,height,orientation,window-to-wall ratio,and shading depth were optimized through a linkage between Ladybug-tools and Genetic Algorithm(GA)concerning adaptive thermal comfort model definition and could enhance the annual thermal comfort by 31%.

Game theory is a tool for making decision for all scientists which it can predict the future. So many times, not only in professional life but in private life game theory can help people to make best decision. What make this article different with other game theory article is that it has written for arts science which they are not so much fluent in maths. The object of this article is to demonstrate the possibilities of game theory as an instrument for study of social science. The approach used to describe elementary games theoretic models as an integral part of social science with a collection of example to understand subject better. This paper addresses to theoreticians and practitioners of social science not particularly versed in game theory, rather than to those who are fluent in its mathematical language and intricacies.
