Computing Dark Energy and Ordinary Energy of the Cosmos as a Double Eigenvalue Problem

We compute the dark energy and ordinary energy density of the cosmos as a double Eigenvalue problem. In addition, we validate the result using two different theories. The first theory is based on Witten’s 11 dimensional spacetime and the second is based on ‘thooft’s fractal renormalization spacetime. In all cases, the robust result is E(O) = mc2/22 for ordinary energy and E(D) = mc2(21/22) for dark energy. Adding E(O) to E(D) we obtain Einstein’s famous equation which confirms special relativity, although it adds a quantum twist to its interpretation. This new interpretation is vital because it brings relativity theory in line with modern cosmological measurements and observations. In particular, we replace calculus by Weyl scaling in all computation which is essentially transfinite discrete.

This article focuses on health monitoring of structures using multiple smart *** this research,two fiber-optic sensors,namely fiber Bragg grating(FBG)and fiber-optic polarimetric sensor(FOPS),are investigated for damage detection in the beam *** is used for local strain measurement while FOPS is used for global strain *** FBG and FOPS show significant changes in the strain due to damages in the ***,at the center of the specimen,piezoelectric wafer active sensor(PWAS)is *** electromechanical admittance(EmA)signature of the specimen beam is recorded by *** changes in the amplitudes of the peaks obtained at various frequencies in this EmA signature are analyzed,and it is shown that the peak amplitudes respond differently to damages and to change in ***,multiple smart materials(FBG,FOPS,and PWAS)are used to get improved information on the health of the beam.

This paper reports on the performance evaluation of a novel latching-type electromagnetic actuator which is designed to be embedded at selected joints along single-port laparoscopic surgical instruments (SLS). The aim of this actuator is to allow these instruments to become articulated with a push of a button in order to provide the optimum angulation required during SLS operations. This new actuator is comprised of electromagnetic coil elements, soft magnetic frames and a permanent magnet. Unlike conventional electromagnetic actuators, latching-type electromagnetic actuators could maintain their positions at either end of the actuation stroke without any power application requirement. In the current design, magnetic attraction forces initiated between the permanent magnet and the magnetic frame are utilised to lock the position of the actuator whilst a certain angulation position of the actuator is achieved as a result of the magnetic repulsion forces established between the permanent magnet and the coil elements. The performance of the new actuator in terms of the output force, maximum angulation and patient’s safety, was evaluated experimentally and the results were found to compare well with those acquired numerically using finite element methods. This actuator was seen to exhibit sufficient actuation forces and hence, it was capable of providing adaptable angulation characteristics for SLS tools. Finally, thermal evaluation of the actuator’s operation was conducted, which was found to be within safety limits specified by clinicians.

The trade-off relation between the strength and the electrical conductivity has been a Iong-standing dilemma in metallic materials. In the study, three key principles, *** grains, sharp texture and nano-scale precipitates, were presented for preparing Al wire with high strength and high electrical conductivity based on the specially designed experiments for breaking the mutually exclusive relation between the strength and the electrical conductivity. The results show that the elongated grains could lead to a higher electrical conductivity in Al wire without sacrificing the strength;while, the sharp texture can efficiently strengthen the Al wire without influencing the electrical conductivity. Furthermore, nano-scale precipitates with proper size can simultaneously improve the strength and electrical conductivity of Al alloy wire. Under the guidance of the above three key principles, Al wires with high strength and high conductivity were prepared.

Thiopurines are widely used for maintenance treatment of inflammatory bowel disease. Interindividual variability in clinical response to thiopurines may be attributed to several factors including genetic polymorphisms, severity and chronicity of disease, comorbidities, duration of administration, compliance issues and use of concomitant medication, environmental factors and clinician and patient preferences. The purpose of this review is to summarise the current evidence on thiopurine safety and toxicity, to describe adverse drug events and emphasise the significance of drug interactions, and to discuss the relative safety of thiopurine use in adults, elderly patients, children and pregnant women. Thiopurines are safe to use and well tolerated, however dose adjustment or discontinuation of treatment must be considered in cases of non-response, poor compliance or toxicity. Drug safety, clinical response to treatment and short to long term risks and benefits must be balanced throughout treatment duration for different categories of patients. Treatment should be individualised and stratified according to patient requirements. Enzymatic testing prior to treatment commencement is advised. Surveillance with regular clinic follow-up and monitoring of laboratory markers is important. Data on long term efficacy, safety of thiopurine use and interaction with other disease modifying drugs are lacking, especially in paediatric inflammatory bowel disease. high quality, collaborative clinical research is required so as to inform clinical practice in the future.

近几年来,植物水溶性非淀粉多糖(NSPS)在食品和医药产品中的应用取得了很大的发展,已经成为能深入研究的有趣课题。水溶性NSPS具有独特的流变特性,能够与水形成粘度由低到高的溶液,可用于饮料、烘焙、冷冻等各种食品中,以改善质地,稳定食品混合物。水溶性NSP在制药工业中也被广泛用作药物输送的封装基质,以及作为具有预防作用的生物活性材料,如抗癌和抗糖尿病。水溶性NSP在促进肠道微生物群生长和支持短链脂肪酸生产方面的益生元作用是迄今为止最有价值的科学发现。由于其使用需求不断增加,为了获得更高的得率,降低成本,缩短提取时间,扩大提取工艺规模,探索并应用了先进新颖的提取技术,包括采用超声波和微波提取水溶性NSP,克服了传统提取方法的一些局限性。为了减少损失和降低脱蛋白对提取水溶性NSP生物活性的负面影响,人们探索了绿色脱蛋白技术,如使用冻融技术替代常用的化学方法。绿色的水溶性NSP脱蛋白纯化方法将使提取的物质更安全地用于食品和医药产品中。

A study of the NW Kakamas Domain in South Africa/Namibia provides a new,unified lithostratigraphy and evolutionary history applicable to the whole Namaqua *** mesoproterozoic history ranges from~1350 ma to 960 ma,but isotopic evidence suggests it was built upon pre-existing Paleoproterozoic continental crust that extended west from the Archaean *** eastern Namaqualand,early rift-related magmatism and sedimentation at~1350 ma occurred in a confined ocean *** tectonic reversal and subduction at~1290–1240 ma led to establishment of the Areachap,Konkiep and Kaaien *** the Kakamas Domain,widespread deposition of pelitic sediments occurred at~1220 ma(Narries Group).These contain detrital zircons derived from proximal crust with ages between~2020 ma and 1800 ma(western Palaeoproterozoic domains)and 1350–1240 ma(eastern early Namaqua domains),suggesting pre-sedimentation *** pelites underwent granulite grade metamorphism at~1210 ma(peak conditions:4.5–6 kbar and 770–850°C),associated with voluminous,predominantly S-type granitoid orthogneisses between~1210 ma and 1190 ma(Eendoorn and ham River Suites)and low-angle ductile(D_(2))deformation which continued until~1110 ma,interspersed with periods of *** enduring P-T regime is inconsistent with the expected crustal over-thickening associated with the generally-accepted collision-accretion Namaqualand ***,we propose the Namaqua Sector is a‘hot orogen’developed in a wide continental back-arc with subduction west of the present-day *** observed high geotherm resulted from thinned back-arc lithosphere accompanied by an influx of mantle-derived *** D_(2)deformation resulted from"bottom-driven"tectonics and viscous drag within the crust by convective flow in the underlying asthenospheric *** extended tectonothermal regime ceased at~1110 ma when SW-directed thrusting stacked the Namaqua Domains into their current positions,constrained in

The problematic of energy management, particularly in terms of resources control and efficiency, has become in the space of a few years an eminently strategic subject. Its implementation is both complex and exciting as the prospects are promising, especially in relation with smart grids technologies. The deregulation of the electricity market, the high cost of storage, and the new laws on energy transition incite some significant users (collectivities, cities, regions, etc.) to form th.m.elves into local producers in order to gain autonomy and reduce their energy bills. Thus, they may have their own sources (classic and/or renewable energy sources) to satisfy their needs and sell their excess production instead of storing it. In this idea, the territorial interconnection principle offers several advantages (energy efficiency, environmental protection, better economic balance). The main challenge of such systems is to ensure good energy management. Therefore, power distribution strategy must be implemented by matching the supply and the demand. Such systems have to be financially viable and environmentally sustainable. This allows among others to reduce the electricity bill and limit the systematic use of the national power network, typically using non-renewable sources, and thereby support sustainable development. This paper presents an original model for aid-decision in terms of grid configurations and control powers exchanged between interconnected territories. The model is based on Petri nets. Therefore, an iterative algorithm for power flow management is based on instantaneous gap between the production capability (photovoltaic, wind) and the demand of each user. So, in order to validate our model, we selected three French regions: the PACA region, the Champagne-Ardenne region and the Lorraine region. The goal of this paper is to study an output stabilization problem: the gradient stabilization for linear distributed systems. Firstly, we give definitions and properties of the gradient stability. Then we characterize controls which stabilize the gradient of the state. We also give the stabilizing control which minimizes a performance given cost. The obtained results are illustrated by simulations in the case of one-dimensional distributed systems.
