Corrosion protection investigations of carbon dots and polydopamine composite coating on magnesium alloy

A composite coating of nitrogen-doped carbon dots(N–CDs)and polydopamine(PDA)was prepared on magnesium alloy by combining electrodeposition with dip coating *** microstructure of the N–CDs/PDA composite coating,including composition,surface morphology,and crystalline structure,is characterized by Raman spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,*** corrosion protection performances of the composite coating are evaluated by potentiodynamic polarization tests,electrochemical impedance spectroscopy,and salt spray *** effect of the particle size of the N–CDs on the corrosion performance is also *** results show that the corrosion performance of the N–CDs coatings are enhanced with the increase of the particle ***,an obvious self-healing performance is observed on the surface of the N–CDs/PDA composite *** results indicate that N–CDs/PDA composite coating can improve the corrosion performance of the Mg alloy,and open a new design direction for the protective coating of metallic materials.

In this paper,we study the symmetry energy and the Wigner energy in the binding energy formula for atomic *** simultaneously extract the I2 symmetry energy and Wigner energy coefficients using the double difference of "experimental" symmetry-Wigner energies,based on the binding energy data of nuclei with A≥*** study of the triple difference formula and the "experimental" symmetry-Wigner energy suggests that the macroscopic isospin dependence of binding energies is explained well by the I2 symmetry energy and the Wigner energy,and further consideration of the I4 term in the binding energy formula does not substantially improve the calculation result.

The slope stability assessment is a classical problem in geotechnical *** topic have attracted many researcher’s attention and various theoretical models for predicting critical slope heights or safety factors in the light of the limit equilibrium(LE)method and the kinematical approach of limit analysis(LA)***,a large number of experimental studies have been conducted to check the slope *** centrifuge testing results,this paper aims to employ Bayesian method to characterize the model uncertainties of the classical three-dimensional rotational failure mechanism proposed by Michalowski and Drescher(2009)to predict critical slope heights in frictional soils,by incorporating the test uncertainties and parameter *** obtained results show that the LA three-dimensional rotational failure mechanism overestimates the critical slope height compared with the LE method,and the experimental observational uncertainty has negligible influences on the posterior statistics of model uncertainty.

While Polypropylene(PP) has been widely utilized in automotive industry,consuming electronics and package industry,it is vulnerable to surface *** visible scratch damage is regarded as one of the most serious concerns for its *** experiments have been performed[1-4],in which the test rate,tip geometry,surface characteristics,as well as material properties themselves show significant *** the recently established ASTM/ISO scratch method[5],it is possible to evaluate polymer scratch in a systematic *** scratch damage features have been observed[3].Although the mechanisms behind those features may be quite different,it has been noticed that all of them occur in a periodic *** is believed to be caused by the oscillation of the scratch tip(stick-slip phenomena).

In this work,a program complied by FORTRAN code dedicates to realize the residual stress calculation for multi depths with incremental hole-drilling *** for different demands of users,this program controls to generate executive files for simulations of coefficients calculation with *** the other hand,as one component of executive file,definition of model is investigated with optimized dimension to achieve assumption of hole-drilling *** drilled components in the hole of model are simulated by changing mechanical properties to decrease effects of remodelling *** a function designed in the program,thickness of drilled depth could be controlled by dividing model into smallest depth and combining them together as requirement of ***, cases would be represented by executing FORTRAN program for residual stress distributed with uniform and non-uniform statement.

Systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)is a systemic autoimmune disease characterized by extraordinary heterogeneity,due to the complex pathogenesis and diverse *** of patients for therapy and prognosis represents a major challenge to manage *** biomarkers for disease diagnosis and activity assessment provide very limited insight into immunological pathogenesis and therapeutic response *** advancement of“omics”technologies including genomics,transcriptomics,proteomics,and metabolomics has constituted an unprecedented opportunity to characterize the immunopathological landscape in individual patients with ***,genomic studies reveal a subset of SLE patients carrying one or more functional single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)underlying immune dysregulation while transcriptomic studies have revealed subgroups in SLE patients showing distinct signatures for Type I interferon(TI-IFN)pathway activation or aberrant differentiation of B cells into plasma *** review will summarize results from the latest studies using omics technology to understand SLE *** addition,we propose that the application of artificial intelligence,such as by machine learning-based nonlinear dimensionality reduction method uniform manifold approximation and projection(UMAP)can further strengthen the analysis of omics big *** combination of new technology and novel analysis pipeline can lead to breakthroughs in stratifying SLE patients for a better monitoring of disease activity and more precise design of treatment regime,not only for conventional immunosuppression but also novel immunotherapies targeting B-cell activating factor(BAFF),TI-IFN,and interleukin 2(IL-2).

Understanding the role of brain regions in anatomical neural networks with Parkinson’s disease(PD) is essential for improving the clinical protocol or finding new targets for deep brain stimulation(DBS).Although numerous changes have been reported in local functional studies,few studies have reported on the anatomical network of the entire ***,by developing a series of algorithms,this study provided a whole anatomical neural network of the macaque ***,the drifts in centrality from normal to PD networks were described in terms of complex network analysis and summarized with principal component *** revealed that the areas including the striatum,globus pallidus,amygdala,prefrontal lobe,thalamus,hippocampus,visual cortex,insula,etc.,showed relatively notable drifts in their own *** present study also demonstrated that the current targets of DBS shared a common feature:their centrality values being relatively low in the normal brain while intensely drifting with PD.

Based on the principles that salts can disperse spontaneously onto the surface of supports to form a monolayer and cuprous ions can form complex with CO,a highly efficient CO adsorbent has been made by heating a mixture of Cu Cl and a zeolite at a suitable temperature to disperse the Cu Cl onto the surface of the zeolite to form Cu Cl/Zeoilte,.This adsorbent has high CO adsorption capacity and selectivity over h2,N2,Ch4 and CO2。By using this adsorbent in a VPSA process,many large scale plants have been built in China for separation of CO from *** plants can produce CO on a scale＞10000m3/hr with CO purity＞99%and CO recovery＞85%.
