in addition to their visible motion such as swimming(e.g.,with the help ofﬂagella),bacteria can also exhibit nanomotion that is detectable only with highly sensitive instruments,and this study shows that it is possible to detect bacterial nanomotion using an AFM detection *** results show that the nanomotion characteristics depend on the bacterial strain,and that nanomotion can be used to sense the metabolic activity of bacteria because the oscilla.ions are sensitive to the food preferences of the bacteria and the type of surrounding medium.

Bell pepper(Capsicum annuum L.),along with potato and tomato,is one of the three most cultivated vegetables in the *** pepper is worldwide accepted due to its characteristics of color,smell,ﬂavor,and *** pepper is also considered a nutritious food due to its vita.in and antioxidant *** Mexico,bell pepper production has a high value because it is grown for the interna.ional markets,particularly the United States of ***,the abscission ofﬂowers and fruits is a factor that limits the yield,hinders the planning of activities,and causes a va.ia.ion in the prices of *** to the importance of this process,in this work we did a bibliometric analysis and literature review of scientiﬁc advances for the understanding of the abscission pro-cess in plants,and in particular for the bell ***,we introduce new perspectives that would help direct future research about organ abscission in ***,the lack of research that would further cla.ify abscis-sion process in the bell pepper plant is discussed.

Wheat(Triticum aestivum L.)exhibits a greater capa.ity for cadmium(Cd)absorption compared to other cereal crops,lea.ing to elevated daily Cd intake,and posing a signiﬁcant threat to public *** the mitiga.ion of Cd stress in sustainable and environmentally friendly way,a pot study was designed by using exogenous applica.ion of va.ious biostimulants,i.e.,Nigella sa.iva and Ocimum sanctum extracts:0%,10%,and 20%in combina.ion with the chela.ing agent ethylenedia.inetetraacetic a.id(eDTA)using 0 and 5 mg kg^(-1) under va.ious levels of Cd stress(i.e.,0,5,10,and 15 mg kg^(-1) soil).Results revealed that Cd stress signiﬁcantly reduced the seed emergence,growth,root,and allometric characters and yield-related parameters of wheat *** most observable reduc-tion was documented in wheat plants exposed to a higher Cd concentra.ion(15 mg kg^(-1)),followed by the lower Cd level(control).The combined applica.ion of bio-stimulants and eDTA minimized the nega.ive impacts of Cd *** highest increase in seedling emergence(5.44%),leaf area(50.60%),number of tillers(31.02%),grain yield per plant(24.28%),biological yield(13.97%),and decrease in Cd levels in grains(40%)was noticed where 20%foliar applica.ion of *** and 10%of *** biostimulants were done using 5 mg kg^(-1) of soil-applied *** intervention demonstrated a notable reduction in Cd-induced nega.ive effects,highlighting the potential of these substances in promoting sustainable wheat cultiva.ion in conta.inated ***,it is an eco-friendly and approachable method at theﬁeld level able to ensure food safety.

This paper describes numerical simula.ion of hydraulic fracturing using fracture-based continuum modeling(FBCM)of coupled geomecha.ical-hydrological processes to evaluate a technique for high-density fracturing and fracture *** simula.ions are innova.ive because of modeling discrete fractures explicitly in continuum analysis.A key advantage of FBCM is that fracture initia.ion and propaga.ion are modeled explicitly without changing the domain grid(*** re-meshing).Further,multiple rea.iza.ions of a preexisting fracture distribution can be analyzed using the same domain *** simulated hydraulic fracturing technique consists of pressurizing multiple wells simultaneously:initially without permea.ing fluids into the rock,to seed fractures uniformly and at high density in the wall rock of the wells;followed by fluid injection to propagate the seeded fracture density *** combines the ease of continuum modeling with the potential accuracy of modeling discrete fractures and fracturing *** are modeled as piecewise planar based on intersections with domain elements;fracture geometry stored as continuum properties is used to calculate parameters needed to model individual fractures;and rock beha.ior is modeled through tensorial aggrega.ion of the beha.ior of discrete fractures and unfractured *** are presented for previously unfractured rock and for rock with preexisting fractures of horizontal,shallow-dipping,steeply dipping,or vertical *** of a single-well model are used to determine the pattern and spa.ing for a multiple-well *** results illustrate high-density fracturing and fracture ca.ing through simultaneous fluid injection in multiple wells:for previously unfractured rock or rock with preexisting shallow-dipping or horizontal fractures,and in situ vertical compressive stress greater than *** preexisting fractures are steeply dipping or vertical,and considering the same in situ

Five perovskite cera.ics samples of Ba_(1-x)er_(x)SnO_(3) with x=0.00,0.05,0.10,0.15,and 0.20 were synthesized using the conventional solid-state reaction *** prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transforms infrared(FTiR),and UV-Vis *** shielding properties against ionizing ra.ia.ion were also *** XRD analysis shows the perovskite cubic structure as the major phase in all *** FTiR reveals a distinctive band around 614-620 cm^(-1) ascribed to the antisymmetric O-Sn-O ***-Vis spectroscopy was used to determine the bandgap according to diffuse reflectance,and the results display a fixed enhancement in the bandgap from 3.2 to 3.3 eV for all ***-ray shielding properties of the synthesized samples were experimentally measured and compared with XCOM computa.ional *** rela.ive differences(Δ,%)between experimental and theo retical values are low and fall within the 0.446%-7.10%*** addition of er leads to the enhanced density,neutron,and gamma shielding *** contrast,charged particles’shielding parameters gradually reduce with rising er *** results suggest that Ba_(1-x)er_(x)SnO_(3) samples can be used in different ra.ia.ion shielding applica.ions.

Background:No standard monsplasty technique has existed until *** va.ious monsplasty methods have been described,they exhibit high complica.ion rates with sparse postopera.ive *** that used pubic suspension techniques did not describe exact anatomical landmarks for the mons *** study aimed to improve the aesthetic and functional appearance of the pubic region with long-term results for all grades of pubic ptosis or bulging with abdominoplasty and provide exact anatomical points to anchor the mons to the rectus ***:This non-randomized prospective clinical trial included 30 pa.ients with va.ious degrees of abdominal wall la.ity between December 2017 and September *** surgical procedure was performed for female pa.ients with pendulous abdomen,pubic ptosis or bulging,body mass index≤35 kg/m^(2),and age 18–60 *** pa.ients were followed for up to one year;pa.ient sa.isfaction was assessed before and after surgery regarding aesthetic results and impact on outfits,hygiene,and sexual ***:The marginal homogeneity test revealed a sta.istically significant pa.ient sa.isfaction rate regarding outfits,sexual function,hygiene,and *** postopera.ive complica.ions,seroma(one case)was managed by aspira.ion,and one case of wound dehiscence was managed conserva.ively with ***:This study recommends a quick and reproducible monsplasty technique with a low complica.ion rate,a technique that helps determine specific anatomical landmarks for anchoring the mons to the rectus *** this technique with abdominal contouring is advisable for optimal aesthetic results and maintained lympha.ic drainage in the pubic region.
