Patient tracking in earthquake emergency response in Iran： A qualitative study

BACKGROUND: After a disaster, all victims have to be rapidly and accurately identified for locating, tracking and regulating them. The purpose of this study was to summarize people's experiences that how the patients were tracked in past earthquake disasters in ***: A qualitative study was carried out in 2015. This was an interview-based qualitative study using content analysis. The interviewed people included physicians, nurses, emergency medical technicians, disaster managers, Red Crescent Society' first responders and managers. Participants were identified using a snow ball sampling method. Interviews were audiotaped, transcribed, coded, and entered into MAXQDA(version 10) for coding and content ***: Three main themes and seven categories including content(recoding data), function(identification of victims, identification of the deceased, informing the patients' relatives, patients' evacuation and transfer, and statistical reporting), technology(the state of using technology) were identifi ed that showed the patient tracking status in past earthquakes in ***: Participants believed that to identify and register the data related to patients or the dead, no consistent action plan was available. So developing a consistent patient tracking system could overcome this issue and improve patient safety.

The energy levels and AA bond energy of the double-A hypernucleus nBe are calculated considering two- and three-nucleon forces. The interactions between the constituent particles are contact interactions that reproduce the low-energy binding energy of the nuclei. Effective action is constructed to involve the three-body forces. In this paper, we compare the binding energy result that is obtained with the experimental and other modern nucleon- nucleon potentials. The results of all the schemes agree very well, showing the high accuracy of our present ability to calculate the many-nucleon bound state with three-body forces. The experimental value of BAA（Be）=20.83 MeV seems to be more compatible with our calculated value of BAA（Be）=-19.31 MeV in comparison with the calculated result of 18.23 MeV by hiyama et al.

Purpose:To investigate the mechanism and sequence of formation of ring-shaped mitochondria in retinal pigment epithelial ce3lls of a chick model of gyrate ***:Electron microscopic analysis of the ultrastructure of retinal pigment epithelial(RPE)mitochondria was carried out in chicks injected intravitreally with formoguanamine regularly(every4days)over the first 2weeksor4weeks *** is a triazine drug which induces hyperor-nithinemic symptoms in the chick eye similar to those seen in human gyrate ***:A large population of irregularly shaped mitochondria was observed in the RPE of both peripheral and central *** showed extensive morpholog-ical *** 2wk,the mitochondria appeared enlarged and abnormal in shape with vacuolisation,partial loss of their double membrane and reduced mitochon-drial *** 4wk,the mitochondria had assumed a rounder,almost circular profile,many with central holes,so-called ring ***:The appearance of ring-shaped mitochondria has been previously as-cribed to the section of cupshaped three-dimensional *** present evi-dence that ring-shaped mitochondrial profiles arise through at least two different mechanisms of membrane breakdown and intraorganelle *** nature of the three dimensional structures of these abnormal mit.

Each year approximately 360,000 people in the United States suffer a peripheral nerve injury （PNI）, which is a leading source of lifelong disability （Kelsey et al., 1997; Noble et al., 1998）. The most frequent cause of PNIs is motor vehicle accidents, while gunshot wounds, stabbings, and birth trauma are also common factors. Patients suffering from disabilities as a result of their PNIs are also burdensome to the healthcare system, with aver- age hospital stays of 28 days each year （Kelsey et al., 1997; Noble et al., 1998）.

The triple-alpha reaction is the key to our understanding about the nucleosynthesis and the observed abundance of 12C in stars. On the basis of our model, the triple-alpha radiative capture process is studied by using the three-body Faddeev approach as well as two- and three-body electromagnetic currents. The bound and resonance states of 12 C are calculated via an inverse process： three-a photodisintegration of a 12 C nucleus.

This case study is about a landslide that occurred after 4 days of heavy rainfall,in the morning of June 29,2012,in Cengong County,Guizhou Province of China,geographical coordinated 108°20′-109°03′E,27°09′-27°32′N,with an estimated volume of 3.3×106 *** fully investigate the landslide process and formation mechanism,detailed geotechnical and geophysical investigations were performed including borehole drilling,sampling,and laboratory tests coupled with monitoring of ***,a combined seepage-slope stability modeling was performed to study the behavior of the *** the heavy rainfall event,the sliding process started in this *** landslide development can be divided into different *** man-made fill area,spatially distributed in the south side of the landslide area with low elevations,slid first along the interface between the slope debris and the strongly weathered bedrock roughly in the EW ***,due to severe lateral shear disturbance,the slope in the main sliding zone slid next towards the SW direction,along the sliding surface developed within the strongly weathered calcareous shale formation located at a depth of 25-35 *** means it was a rainfall triggered deep-seated ***,retrogressive failure of a number of upstream blocks occurred,which moved in more than one *** initial failure of the man-made fill area was the‘engine’of the whole instability *** artificial material with low permeability,piled up in the accumulation area of surface and sub-surface and destroyed the drainage capacity of the *** numerical modeling results agreed with the analysis results obtained from the laboratory and field investigations.A conceptual model is given to illustrate the formation mechanism and development process of the landslide.

Aims Wildfire and ungulate herbivore pressure are increasing globally due to human activities,including arid ecosystems that are sensitive to disturbance,and are highly dependent on pollinator *** evaluated how wildfire and ungulate herbivore pressure influ-ence plant reproductive success and pollinator *** We evaluated flower production,floral herbivory,pollinator visita-tion and fruit set of two Yucca species with highly specialized polli-nator mutualisms(Yucca baccata and Yucca brevifolia)in unburned and burned landscapes created by fires that occurred in the Mojave Desert in *** Findings Yucca baccata plants in burned landscapes had a greater propor-tion of flowering individuals than plants in unburned areas(23 versus 12%).All *** individuals in burned and unburned landscapes produced ***-four percent of *** inflorescences were removed due to herbivory by cattle in burned areas,compared to 51%in unburned ***-two percent of *** inflorescences on branches≤2 m in height were removed in burned areas due to cattle herbivory compared to 39%in unburned ***,we did not observe any inflores-cence removal on *** branches>2 m where the major-ity of *** inflorescences are *** moths,the only known pollinators of these two species,visited *** uniformly in burned and unburned areas but failed to visit ***-cata *** brevifolia had strong fruit production,but not a single fruit was produced among the thousands of flowering *** plants *** herbivory and the loss of obligate pollinator mutualisms appear to be critical threats to the long-term viability of *** populations in this *** reproduc-tive resilience of *** and the maintenance of its pollinator populations appear to be due to its taller stature,which allows verti-cal escape of flowers from ungulate *** of live-stock during
