Attuned design of demand response program and M-FACTS for relieving congestion in a restructured market environment

Th.s paper addresses th. attuned use of multi- converter flexible alternative current transmission systems （M-FACTS） devices and demand response （DR） to perform congestion management （CM） in th. deregulated environment. Th. strong control capability of th. M- FACTS offers a great potential in solving many of th. problems facing electric utilities. Besides, DR is a novel procedure th.t can be an effective tool for reduction of congestion. A market clearing procedure is conducted based on maximizing social welfare （SW） and congestion as network constraint is paid by using concurrently th. DR and M-FACTS. A multi-objective problem （MOP） based on th. sum of th. payments received by th. generators for ch.nging th.ir output, th. total payment received by DR participants to reduce th.ir load and M-FACTS cost is systematized. For th. solution of th.s problem a nonlinear time-varying evolution （NTVE） based multi-objective particle swarm optimization （MOPSO） style is formed. Fuzzy decision-making （FDM） and tech.ique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution （TOPSIS） approach.s are employed for finding th. best compromise solution from th. set of Pareto-solutions obtained th.ough.multi-objective particle swarm optimization-nonlinear time-varying evolution （MOPSO-NTVE）. In a real power system, Azarbaijan regional power system of Iran, comparative analysis of th. results obtained from th. application of th. DR ＆ unified power flow controller （UPFC） and th. DR ＆ M-FACTS are presented.

A math.matical approach.was proposed to investigate th. impact of h.gh.penetration of large-scale ph.tovoltaic park(LPP) on small-signal stability of a power network and design of h.brid controller for th.se units.A systematic procedure was performed to obtain th. complete model of a multi-mach.ne power network including *** damping of oscillations focusing on inter-area oscillatory modes,a h.brid controller for LPP was *** performance of th. suggested controller was tested using a 16-mach.ne 5-area *** results indicate th.t th. proposed h.brid controller for LPP provides sufficient damping to th. low-frequency modes of power system for a wide range of operating *** meth.d presented in th.s work effectively indentifies th. impact of increased PV penetration and its controller on dynamic performance of multi-mach.ne power network containing *** results demonstrate th.t th. model presented can be used in designing of essential controllers for LPP.

Objective:To evaluate th. bioefficacy ofα-cypermeth.in impregnated into long lasting insecticide treated nets(LLITNs- INTERCEPTOR?) against main malaria vector,Anoph.les steph.nsi（***）.Meth.ds:Th. effectiveness of bed net impregnated with.-cypermeth.in(INTERCEPTOR?) with.wash.ng was *** wash.ng procedure and bioassay tests were carried out according to th. Wh.-recommended *** vector, *** was exposed to impregnated bed net for th.ee minutes and th.n mortality measured after 24 h.recovery *** was also measured according to th. logarith.ic times. Results:Result of cone bioassay meth.d sh.wed th.t bioefficacy ofα-cypermeth.in decreased from 100%in unwash.d to 15%in 20 ***50 was measure as one minute in one wash.and increased to 40 min in 20 ***:Findings of th.s study provide guideline for malaria vector control auth.rities and people using pyreth.oid-impregnated bed nets.
