Ch.nes. mainland,us.ng obs.rvations.from 2462 ground s.ations.acros. th. country as.a *** us.d four s.atis.ical and four clas.ification indicators.to des.ribe th.ir s.atial and temporal accuracy,and capability to detect precipitation events.wh.le analyzing th.ir *** res.lts.s.0}w th.t according to th. precipitation ch.r-acteris.ics.and accuracy of different types.of precipitation products.over th. Ch.nes. mainland,Ms.EP was.th. mos. s.itable product over th. Ch.nes. mainland,h.ving th. lowes. root mean s.uare error and mean abs.lute error,along with.th. h.gh.s. coefficient of *** was.followed by TRMM and ERA5,wh.reas.PERs.ANN lagged beh.nd in terms.of *** terms.of different regions.Ms.EP s.ill performed well,es.ecially in North.Ch.na and Eas. *** accuracy of th. four precipitation products.was.relatively low in th. s.mmer month.,and th.y all overes.imated in th. north.es. *** oth.r month.,Ms.EP and TRMM were better th.n PERs.ANN and *** four precipitation products.h.d good detection performance over th. Ch.nes. mainland,with.probability of detection above ***,with.th. increas. of precipitation th.es.0}ld,th. detection capability of th. four products.decreas.d,and Ms.EP and ERA5 h.d good detection capability for moderate ***’s.detection capability for h.avy rain and rains.orms.was.better th.n th.t of th. oth.r th.ee products.and PERs.ANN’s.detection capability for moderate rain,h.avy rain and rains.orms.was.relatively poor,with.a large deviation.
