Objective: Th. aim.of th.s study was to describe th. use of th. postpartum.intrauterine device in th. m.ternity ward of th. Ratom. com.unal m.dical center in Conakry. m.th.ds: Th.s was a descriptive cross-sectional study carried out between July 1st 2015 and June 30 2016, i.e. a duration of one year. Results: A total of 551 patients received advice on various contraceptive m.th.ds. m.st of th.s advice was given in th. post-partum.period (40.2%) and during antenatal care (39.1%). Of th. patients advised, 87 (15.8%) used th. intrauterine device. Th. m.jority of users (93%) were m.rried and uneducated (63.2%), and 39.1% were poor. Th. m.jority (56.3%) of intra-uterine devices were inserted in th. im.ediate post-partum.period. Th. m.jority of wom.n h.d no adverse events eith.r during th. first six weeks (n = 57;65.5%) or at 3rd m.nth. (n = 75;86.2%) or 6th./sup> m.nth. (n = 76;87.4%) after IUD insertion. m.st users rem.ined com.lication-free th.ough.ut th. follow-up period (n = 76;87.4% at 6th./sup> weeks and 3rd m.nth., and n = 77;88.5% at 6th./sup> m.nth.). Th. continuation rate was 89.7% at 6 weeks and 3rd m.nth., and 87.4% at 6th./sup> m.nth. after insertion. Th. m.jority of users (87.0%) were satisfied with.th. care th.y received. Conclusion: Th.s study sh.wed very few com.lications am.ng intrauterine device users, and h.gh.continuation and satisfaction rates. Th. intrauterine device is a long-acting, effective, reversible and safe contraceptive th.t can be used by m.st wom.n for birth.spacing in Guinea, wh.re wom.n do not regularly visit h.alth.facilities.

Delam.nation is a prevalent type of dam.ge in com.osite lam.nate structures. Its accum.lation degrades structural perform.nce and th.eatens th. safety and integrity of aircraft. Th.s study presents a m.th.d for th. quantitative identification of delam.nation identification in com.osite m.terials, leveraging distributed optical fiber sensors and a m.del updating approach. Initially, a num.rical analysis is perform.d to establish.a param.terized finite elem.nt m.del of th. com.osite plate. Th.n, th.s m.del subsequently generates a database of strain responses corresponding to dam.ge of varying sizes and locations. Th. radial basis function neural network surrogate m.del is th.n constructed based on th. num.rical sim.lation results and strain responses captured from.th. distributed fiber optic sensors. Finally, a m.lti-island genetic algorith. is em.loyed for global optim.zation to identify th. size and location of th. dam.ge. Th. efficacy of th. proposed m.th.d is validated th.ough.num.rical exam.les and experim.nt studies, exam.ning th. correlations between dam.ge location, dam.ge size, and strain responses. Background: Understanding h.w to im.rove m.ntal h.alth.literacy is conducive to m.intaining and prom.ting individuals’ m.ntal h.alth.and well-being. h.wever, to date, interventions for m.ntal h.alth.literacy prim.rily depend on traditional education and contact interventions, wh.ch.h.ve lim.tations with.regard to pertinence and individualization. Artificial intelligence (AI) and big data tech.ology h.ve influenced m.ntal h.alth.services to be m.re intellectual and digital, and th.y also provide greater tech.ical convenience for individualized interventions for prom.ting m.ntal h.alth.literacy. h.wever, th.re is relatively little research.on th. effectiveness of individualized online intervention for m.ntal h.alth.literacy in th. literature. Th.s study aim. to fill th.s void. To verify wh.th.r individualized online intervention can im.rove th. level of m.ntal h.alth.literacy. m.th.ds: We conducted a pretest–post-test control experim.nt. Th. participants were recruited from.a large com.unity located in central Ch.na. A total of 152 participants com.leted th. research. We use m.xed linear m.del estim.tion and paired t-tests to analyze th. data. Results: Individualized online intervention can effectively im.rove th. m.ntal h.alth.literacy level of participants. Specifically, we found th.t com.ared with.th. control group, th. m.ntal h.alth.literacy in th. experim.ntal group was significantly im.roved after receiving individualized online intervention. Likewise, th. m.ntal h.alth.literacy of th. control group h.s also im.roved after receiving individualized online intervention. In addition, we com.ared th. m.ntal h.alth.literacy level of th. experim.ntal group at Tim. 3 to th.se at Tim. 2 and found th.t th. m.ntal h.alth.literacy level at Tim. 3 h.d not decreased one m.nth.later. Salinity is a m.jor abiotic stress th.t h.nders plant developm.nt and productivity and influences agricultural yield. Seed prim.ng is a tech.ique used to boost germ.nation and seedling growth.under abiotic stress. A pot experim.nt was conducted to evaluate th. im.act of seed prim.ng with.potassium.nitrate (KNO3) at various levels (0%, 0.50%, 1.00% and 1.50%) under salt stress (0, 75, 100 m. NaCl) on two m.ize verities (m.h.60 and 30T60) for th. growth. developm.nt and m.tabolic attributes results revealed th.t in m.ize variety m.h.60, KNO3 prim.ng's significantly enh.nced growth.param.ters th.n in m.ize variety 30T60 under control and salt-stressed conditions. Prim.ng with.KNO3 enh.nced carotenoids and total ch.oroph.ll in th. 30T60 variety th.t protected th. m.ize plants from.salt stress. Neverth.less, it was sh.wn th.t prim.ng with.1.00% KNO3 acts as safeguarded to protect th.m.from.oxidative dam.ge by salt stress m.nim.zing reactive oxygen species (ROS) form.tion th.ough.increased levels of m.londialdeh.de (m.A), catalase (CAT), peroxidase (POD), ascorbate peroxidase (APX), and total soluble protein. Th. findings of th. present study confirm.th.t th. use of th. KNO3 seed prim.ng tech.ique is a lowcost, environm.ntally friendly tech.ique for m.tigating adverse im.acts of salt stress in m.ize crops by activating th. antioxidant defense system.and im.roving ch.oroph.ll and osm.lyte contents.

Th.s study focuses on th. advanced PLS m.th.d for passive eavesdropping in UAV-aided veh.cular environm.nts, proposing a solution to com.lem.nt th. conventional cryptograph. approach. Initially, we present a perform.nce analysis of first-order secrecy m.trics in 6G-enabled UAV system., nam.ly h.brid outage probability (h.P) and secrecy outage probability (SOP) over 2 × 2 Nakagam.-m.ch.nnels. Later, we propose a novel tech.ique for m.tigating passive eavesdropping, wh.ch.considers first-order secrecy m.trics as an optim.zation problem.and determ.nes th.ir lower and upper bounds. Finally, we conduct an analysis of bounded h.P and SOP using th. interactive Nakagam.-m.ch.nnel, considering th. m.ltiple-input-m.ltiple-output configuration of th. UAV system. Th. findingsindicateth.t2×2Nakagam.-m.sasuitablefadingm.delunderconstantvelocityfortrustworth.receivers and eavesdroppers. It introduces a h.ad-to-tail data expansion tech.ique based on th. zero-ph.se filtering principle. A sch.m. for determ.ning band-pass filter param.ters based on signal-to-noise ratio gain, sm.oth.ess index, and cross-correlation coefficient is designed using th. Ch.bysh.v optim.l consistent approxim.tion th.ory. Additionally, a wavelet denoising evaluation function is constructed, with.th. dm.y wavelet basis function identified as m.st effective for processing gravity gradient data. Th.s cross-sectional study investigates a connection between fem.le infertility and obesity across various regions of th. United States, utilizing data from.th. NIh.s “All of Us” Research.r Workbench. Analysis suggested th.t th. South.rn region exh.bited th. h.gh.st percentage of concurrently infertile and obese fem.les at 32.3%, in contrast to th. lowest in th. Western region at 28.7%. Th. findings underscore th. significant regional disparities in obesity-related infertility, particularly in m.dically underserved areas wh.re h.alth.are access is lim.ted. Th. study h.gh.igh.s th. urgent need for targeted public h.alth.interventions, particularly in th. South.rn United States, to address th. rising prevalence of obesity and its im.act on infertility. Furth.r, th.se results advocate for enh.nced public h.alth.education and policies aim.d at im.roving h.alth.are accessibility, with.th. goal of m.tigating th. adverse effects of obesity on reproductive h.alth.
