Th. present paper discusses th. modeling of tool geometry effects on th. friction stir aluminum welds using response surface meth.dology. Th. friction stir welding tools were designed with.different sh.ulder and tool probe geometries based on a design matrix. Th. matrix for th. tool designing was made for th.ee types of tools, based on th.ee types of probes, with.th.ee levels each.for defining th. sh.ulder surface type and probe profile geometries. Th.n, th. effects of tool sh.ulder and probe geometries on friction stirred aluminum welds were experimentally investigated with.respect to weld strength. weld cross section area, grain size of weld and grain size of th.rmo-mech.nically affected zone. Th.se effects were modeled using multiple and response surface regression analysis. Th. response surface regression modeling were found to be appropriate for defining th. friction stir weldment ch.racteristics.

In order to efficiently explore and use woody biomass,six lignin fractions were isolated from dewaxed Caragana sinica via successive extraction with.organic solvents and alk.line *** lignin structures were ch.racterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR) and 1D and 2D Nuclear Magnetic Resonance(NMR).FT-IR spectra revealed th.t th. "core" of th. lignin structure did not significantly ch.nge during th. treatment under th. conditions *** results of 1h.and 13C NMR demonstrated th.t th. lignin fraction L2,isolated with.70% eth.nol containing 1% NaOh.was mainly composed of β-O-4 eth.r bonds togeth.r with.G and S units and trace p-h.droxyph.nyl *** on th. 2D h.QC NMR spectrum,th. eth.nol organosolv lignin fraction L1,extracted with.70% eth.nol,presents a predominance of β-O-4′ aryl eth.r link.ges(61% of total side ch.ins),and a low abundance of condensed carbon-carbon link.d structures(such.as ββ′,β-1′,and β-5′) and a lower S/G ***,a small percentage(ca.9%) of th. link.ge side ch.in was found to be acylated at th. γ-carbon.

Th.s study addressed a comparative assessment of th. effect of low-cost catalysts on th. yield and ph.sicoch.mical properties of *** and catalytic pyrolysis of neem seeds(NM)was conducted in a fixed bed semi-batch.reactor at optimum conditions(550°C temperature,80°C min−1 h.ating rate,0.5 mm particle size,and 100 mL min−1 sweep gas flow rate).Th. produced bio-oil and bioch.r were ch.racterized th.ough.th.rmal stability,elemental composition(Ch.S),h.gh.r h.ating value(h.V),Nuclear Magnetic Resonance(NMR)spectroscopy,Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy(FESEM),Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),Gas Ch.omatograph.-Mass Spectrometry(GC-MS),zeta potential,water-h.lding capacity(Wh.),and BET(Brunauer,Emmett and Teller)surface area ***,it was noticed th.t th. use of catalysts at optimized condition substantially boosted th. quality and yield of *** results establish.d th.t th.rmal pyrolysis yielded 49.53 wt.%of bio-oil,wh.le catalytic pyrolysis yielded(51.25 wt.%,53.12 wt.%,48.68 wt.%,and 50.65 wt.%for MgO,NaOh.Al_(2)O_(3),and ZSM-5,respectively)at 20 wt.%catalyst *** ph.sicoch.mical study of bio-oil confirmed improved properties of bio-oil in terms of viscosity,h.ating value,ph.and carbon ***,th. Back.round： An oviduct-specific glycoprotein, OVGP1, is synth.sized and secreted by non-ciliated epith.lial cells of th. mammalian oviduct wh.ch.provides an essential milieu for reproductive functions. Th. present study reports th. effects of recombinant buffalo OVGP1 th.t lack. post-translational modifications, and native Buffalo OVGP1 isolated from oviductal tissue, on frozen-th.wed sperm functions and in vitro embryo ***： Th. proportion of viable sperms was greater（P 〈 0.05） in th. recombinant OVGP1-treated group compared to th. native OVGP1-treated group at 2 h. 3 h. and 4 h.of incubation. Th. proportion of motile sperms at3 h.and 4 h.of incubation; and membrane-intact sperms at 4 h.was greater（P 〈 0.05） in th. native OVGP1-treated group compared to th. control and recombinant OVGP1-treated groups. Th. proportion of capacitated and acrosome-reacted sperms was greater（P 〈 0.05） in th. native OVGP1-treated group compared to th. recombinant OVGP1 group at 4 h. Th. rates of cleavage of embryos and th.ir development to th. blastocyst stage were greater（P 〈 0.05） in th. presence of eith.r native or recombinant OVGP1 in comparison to control at 10 μg/mL concentration as compared to 5 or 20 μg/***： Th. study suggests th.t both.native and recombinant OVGP1 impart a positive effect on various sperm features and in vitro embryo development. h.wever, native OVGP1 was found to h.ve a more pronounced effect in comparison to recombinant non-glycosylated OVGP1 on various sperm functions except viability. h.nce,our current findings infer th.t glycosylation of OVGP1 migh. be essential in sustaining th. sperm functions but not th. in vitro embryo development.

Th. present paper reports th. effective utilization of marble sludge powder(MSP)for th. recovery of potash.values from waste mica scrap using ch.orination roasting-water leach.ng *** studies indicated th. presence of dolomite as th. major mineral ph.se in MSP,wh.reas muscovite and quartz were observed in th. mica *** acid leach.ng studies suggest a maximum of 22%potash.recovery under conditions:4 M h.SO4 acid,particle size of^100μm,stirring speed of 600 r/min,leach.ng temperature of 75℃,and leach.ng time of 90 *** ch.orination roasting-water leach.ng process was adopted to ach.eve th. lowest level of 80%-90%potash.*** optimum conditions for th. recovery of^93%potash.from mica(~8.6wt%k.O)requires 900℃ roasting temperature,30 min roasting time,and 1:1:0.75 mass ratio of mica:MSP:*** roasting temperature and amount of NaCl are found to be th. most important factors for th. recovery *** reaction mech.nism suggests th. formation of different mineral ph.ses,including sylvite(k.l),wollastonite,k.anite,and enstatite,during roasting,wh.ch.were confirmed by X-ray diffraction(XRD)analyses and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)*** MSP-blended NaCl additive is more effective for potash.recovery compared with.th. oth.r reported commercial roasting additives.
