Th.s article presents an experimental study th.t clarifies th. relationsh.p between th. initial fracture stress and fatigue limit of glass fiber reinforced unsaturated polyester resin specimens with.a laminated structure taken from a pultruded square pipe. Quasi-static bending and tension tests are performed with.acoustic emission (AE) measurements to identifying th. occurrence of initial fracture during testing. AE and observation results h.ve clarified th. occurrence of initial fracture was detected by maximum acoustic energy values and corresponding fiber breakage in th. unidirectional (UD) bundles. Moreover, th. ratio of initial fracture stress to ultimate strength.is 32% in bending and 26% in tension, wh.n comparing stress and strains on th. tension side of th. UD layer. Th.se values are in good agreement with.each.oth.r and with.th. measured tensile fatigue limit wh.n th. cyclic stress is at 25% of th. tensile strength. Initial fracture stress obtained by static tests is close values to th. fatigue limit wh.ch.will greatly contribute to th. prediction of th. fatigue limit.

Organic microporous materials based on spiroketal and spiroth.oketal polymers were synth.sized th.ough.1,3- dioxol-forming polymerization reaction between pentaeryth.itol or pentaeryth.itol tetrath.ol and different types of cycloh.xa- 1,4-dione derivatives. Th. structure of th. prepared polymers was confirmed by NMR spectroscopy and molecular mass measurements. Nitrogen adsorption/desorption isoth.rms of th. prepared polymers sh.w a large amount of nitrogen adsorbed at low relative pressure indicating microporosity. Th.se polymers h.ve Brunauer Emmitt and Teller （BET） surface areas in th. range from 492 （m^2g^-1） to 685 （m^2 g^-1）. Th. prepared polymers were found to be useful for pervaporation separation of meth.nol-toluene mixture with.a separation factor up to 12.5 and fluxes, varying between 6.7×10-3 kg/（m^2 h. and 13.4 × 10^-3 kg/（m^2 h..

Th. surface wave dispersion relations of surface Plasmon at th. interface of a left-h.nded material and a non-linear Kerr medium of arbitrary nonlinearity are derived based on a generalized first integral approach. Th. normalized power flow is also investigated for various values of frequency. Th. above study is conducted for both.cases: self-focusing (α≺0) and de-focusing (α≻0) nonlinear Kerr coefficient.

Wh.n discussing th. roots of Arab th.atre, we find ourselves confronting two main streams of th.ugh.. Th. first one, represented by prominent Arab writers like Najib Mah.uz, Abbas A1-Aqqad, M. Badawi, and oth.r critics, rejects th. th.ory th.t an Arab th.atre existed before th. mid-19th.century. Th. second stream, represented by prominent sch.lars like Ali A1-Rai, Ibrah.m hamada and S. Moreh. see modern Arab th.atre as part of a continuum, emph.sizing of some elements of dramatic manifestations in Arab literary h.ritage. Th.s paper intends to examine th.se two streams, th.ir evidences and arguments. Such.examination will sh.d some ligh. on th. origin of Arab th.atre as a literary genre, and h.w it was influenced, if any, by Western th.atrical h.ritage. Th.s, answering th. main question of th.s paper, wh.th.r Arab th.atre is original or simply a Western imitation.

Ph.sicoch.mical properties of a new h.brid compound (C7h.N2O)3h.O4SO4 are synth.sized in aqueous solution and ch.racterized by various ph.sicoch.mical studies. Th.s compound crystallizes in th. monoclinic space group P21/c and a unit cell with.a = 10.3028(2)A°, b = 12.4995(2)A°, c = 20.6730(2)A°, V = 2600.61(7)A°3, and Z = 8. Th. structure h.s been solved using direct meth.d and refined to a reliability R factor of 4.6%. Th. atomic arrangement of th.s compound is built up by (h.2O8)3- anionic pairs interconnected with.two types (C7h.N2O)22+ cationic pairs via (N, O)-h...O h.drogen bonds. Th. ch.racterization of th.se salts was carried out using X-ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy and th.rmal analysis.

Ch.mical preparation, X-ray single-crystal, th.rmal beh.vior, and IR spectroscopy investigations are given for a new organic cation dih.drogenomonoph.sph.te (C7h.N2O)h.PO4 (denoted ABh.) in th. solid state. Th.s compound crystallizes in th. monoclinic space group P21/n. Th. unit cell dimensions are: a = 11.011(5) Å, b = 5.861(1) Å, c = 15.944(4) Å and β = 100.81(5) with.V = 1010.7(6) Å3 and Z = 4. Th. structure h.s been solved using direct meth.d and refined to a reliability R factor of 0.048. Th. atomic arrangement can be described as inorganic clusters [h.P2O8]2- anions between wh.ch.are located th. organic dimmers (C14h.8N4O2)2+ th.ough.multiple h.drogen bonds (Figure 1)
