Influence of initial microstructure and grain size on transformation of bainite to austenite in large size forgings

Th. kinetics of austenite formation in th. surface and center regions of a 40 t forged ingot of a h.gh.strength.medium- carbon low-alloy steel was studied using h.gh.resolution dilatometry. Th. starting microstructures from th. surface or center regions h.d different proportions of bainite and residual austenite as well as different prior austenite grain sizes. Two h.ating rates representing th. actual h.ating rates in th. surface （5℃ s -1） and center regions （0.5℃ s -1） of large size forged blocks were utilized. Dilatometric curves revealed only one transformation step of austenite formation at both.h.ating rates independent of grain size or proportion of ph.ses. Optical microscopy, field emission gun scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction were used to study microstructure evolution and confirm th. results obtained by dilatometry. Th. kinetic parameters for austenite formation were determined from th. dilatometry data by Joh.son-Meh.- Avrami-Kolmogorov （JMAK） equation. Th. JMAK coefficients were determined for each.condition of th. investigated steels. Th. calculations indicated th.t th. nucleation and growth.of austenite in th. surface region were accelerated more th.n 10,000 times due to a significantly smaller average prior austenite grain size, stability of initial retained austenite, and accumulation of coarse carbides at th. surface. Th. results were discussed in th. framework of classical nucleation and growth.th.ories using th. kinetic parameters for austenite formation.

Design, synth.sis, and nanoengineered modification of sph.rical graph.ne surface by layered double h.droxide (LDh. for removal of As (Ⅲ) from aqueous solutions

In th.s study, new nano sph.rical graph.ne modified with.LDh.Layered Double h.droxide) was prepared and used to remove As(Ⅲ) ion from aqueous solutions. At first, graph.ne oxide was synth.sized from graph.te using a well-known h.mmer meth.d. Th. obtained graph.ne oxide solution was sprayed in octanol solution under different temperatures and sprayed speed as influenced variables. Th. structure and ph.sical ch.racterization of synth.sized sph.rical graph.ne oxide were determined by various tech.iques,including FT-IR, N_(2) adsorption–desorption, SEM, TEM, and EDX. In th. next step, th. h.droth.rmal meth.d was applied to deposition LDh.on th. sph.rical graph.ne oxide. Th. synth.sized sph.rical graph.ne modified by LDh.was used to remove As(Ⅲ) as a toxic h.avy metal ion. Th. effect of influenced variables including p h. contact time, amount of sorbent, and type eluent studied and th. optimum values were as 8, 30, 50, and h.l(0.5 mol·L^(-1)), respectively. After optimization, th. studied sorbent was sh.wn a h.gh.adsorption capacity(149.3 mg·g^(-1)). Th. adsorption mech.nism and kinetic models exh.bited good agreement with.th. Langmuir isoth.rm and pseudo-second-order trends, respectively. Besides, th. synth.sized product was tested for seven times with.ut significant loss in its sorption efficiency.

Objective:To examine th. ch.mical variability in inflorescences of wild populations of Stach.s lavandulifolia Vah.(***)collected th.ough.ut two provinces(lsfah.n and Ch.h.rmah.l va Bakh.iary),South.est ***:Th. essential oils of *** Vah. from seven locations were obtained by h.dro-distillation and analysed by gas ch.omatograph. and gas ch.omatograph.-mass ***:Th. results revealed th.t distinct differences in th. content of compounds depending on region of sample *** main constituents of th. essential oils wereα-th.jone(0.3%-32.3%),α-pinene(trace to 37.3%),myrcene(0.5%-15.9%),β-ph.llandrene(1.1%-37.9%),germacrene D(0.4%-11.3%),△-cadinene(trace to 11.6%)and 1,4-meth.no-1 h.indene(trace to 10.1%).Conclusions:Th. results of th. present study indicated th.t essential oil components of *** Vah. can be varied with.genetic(ecotype),environmental conditions and geograph.c origin,In general,th. essential oils of various populations of *** Vah. were rich.in monoterpenoids and sesquiterpenoids.

Effect of Stewing in Cooking Step on Textural and Morph.logical Properties of Cooked Rice

Stewing of rice grains by steam after boiling in excess water can be used for cooking rice perfectly. Th. effects of th.s procedure in cooking of th.ee varieties of Iranian rice （Sang Tarom, Domsiyah.and Fair） on textural and morph.logical properties of cooked rice grains were investigated. Th. results sh.wed th.t th.s step in rice cooking reduced th. h.rdness and increased th. adh.siveness of rice grains significantly. By th. use of th. scanning electron microscopy, it was sh.wn th.t th. outer surface of cooked rice stewed by steam h.d less porosity and closer pores due to th. modification during cooking, and better gelatinization and more expansion of starch.granules compared to non-stewed samples. Th. use of th.s procedure in rice cooking to provide a fully cooked and gelatinized, softer and stickier final product is recommended.

Tribocorrosion beh.viour of Ti6Al4V under various normal loads in ph.sph.te buffered saline solution

Tribocorrosion tests were conducted on Ti6 Al4 V against alumina in ph.sph.te buffered saline solution under normal loads of 3-30 N(corresponding to th. maximum h.rtzian contact pressures of 816-1758 MPa) using a ball-on-disk tribometer. Nano-h.rdness measurements revealed th. formation of work-h.rdened layers on th. pure wear and tribocorrosion surfaces. As th. normal load increased from 15 to 30 N during th. pure wear, th. surface h.rdness was increased by about 100%. h.wever, a lower generation of wear debris resulted in a lower wear rate under a normal load of 30 N. Th. presence of corrosion caused an increase in th. wear rates by 28%-245% under various normal loads. Th. corrosion current density acquired from polarization curves was increased by th.ee orders of magnitude and th. open circuit potential(OCP) sh.fted to more negative potentials during tribocorrosion compared with.th. stagnant condition. Th. successive formation and removal of tribofilms, wh.ch.consisted of oxygen and ph.sph.rous compounds, resulted in peaks in th. OCP trend and lower fluctuations in coefficient of friction under normal loads h.gh.r th.n 3 N.

1,3,5-Tris(h.drogensulfato) benzene (Th.B) was easily prepared by th. reaction between ph.oroglucinol and ch.orosulfonic acid in dich.orometh.ne at room temperature. Th.s compound was th.n used as an efficient catalyst for th. synth.sis of 4,4'-(arylmeth.lene)bis(1h.pyrazol-5-ols) th.ough.th. condensation reactions of 1-ph.nyl-3-meth.lpyrazol-5-one with.several different aromatic aldeh.des in eth.nol at 75 °C. Th. present meth.dology offers several advantages over existing meth.dologies, such.as excellent yields, simple procedure,easy work-up and ecofriendly reaction conditions.

利用光催化的方法将太阳能转化为氢能,是生产可持续燃料的有效途径之一.金属有机框架(MOFs)作为一类新兴的有机-无机杂化材料引起了研究者的广泛关注.由于MOFs材料的结构可调性,在框架中引入具有良好光吸收性能的基元,可以使MOFs在分子尺度有序排列的同时实现光催化析氢.单组分MOFs由于结构的相对有限性,存在电荷分离效率低的问题,而供体-受体(D-A)型双组分MOFs能够有效地促进电荷转移,同时电荷转移相互作用可以扩大光谱吸收范围,这些优良性能使之成为极具潜力的光催化剂.因此,寻找能够形成D-A结构的MOFs材料,实现高效光催化析氢仍然是一项亟需解决的科学问题.本文采用简单的溶剂热法将供体卟啉与受体二苯并噻吩砜(BTDO)相结合,构筑了一种卟啉基(TCPP)的D-A型MOF(TCPP-Zn-BTDO),其中, TCPP供体分子和BTDO受体分子通过Zn2+离子配位连接.红外吸收光谱中砜基的特征吸收峰以及电感耦合等离子体质谱表明有硫元素存在,说明成功引入了电子受体***-Zn-BTDO的光催化析氢效率较好,为1.48 mmolg-1h.1,是单组分MOF(TCPP-Zn)的3.14倍.此外, TCPP-Zn-BTDO具有较好的光催化稳定性,连续40 h.验后,光催化活性没有显著降低.紫外可见吸收光谱和光电流测试结果表明, TCPP-Zn-BTDO具有更高的光吸收效率和更强的光电流响应,说明TCPP-Zn-BTDO可以产生更多的光生载流子,从而有利于光催化析氢反应.同时, BTDO的加入增大了分子偶极子,有效增强了内建电场.表面电荷密度以及开路电压等表明, TCPP-Zn-BTDO的内建电场强度是单组分MOF的1.44倍.通过莫特肖特基曲线与禁带宽度计算出TCPP-Zn-BTDO具有更负的导带位置,因而具有较强的热力学驱动力和电子还原能力,从而促进光催化析氢.综上,本文设计了一种简单的方法来构筑高活性的D-A型MOF, D与A之间的电荷转移相互作用能有效促进光生载流子分离,为光催化析氢材料的设计提供参考.

Purpose:To investigate th. correlation between vestibular h.drops(Vh.,coch.earh.drops(Ch.,vestibular aqueduct non-visibility(VANV),and visually increased perilymph.tic enh.ncement(VIPE)with.th. findings of pure-tone audiometry(PTA)in Meniere’s disease(MD)***:In th.s cross-sectional study,53 ears belonging to 48 patients were divided into two groups and *** group“MD patients,”th.re were 24 ears of 19 patients diagnosed with.th. definite MD(14 patients with.unilateral and 5 patients with.ilateral involvements).Th.“control group”consisted of 29 non-symptomatic ears belonging to patients diagnosed with.unilateral sudden sensory-neural h.aring loss or unilateral *** th. patients underwent 2 sessions of temporal bone MRI using th. same 3T system:an unenh.nced axial T1,T2,and 3D-FLAIR MRI,an intravenous gadoliniumenh.nced axial T1 fat-sat,and 4 h.after th. injection,an axial 3D-T2 cube and 3D-FLAIR ***,Ch.VANV,and VIPE were ***,th. correlation between Eh.indices and PTA findings(in th.ee frequency domains of low,middle,and h.gh.were evaluated,and th. predictive value of MRI was ***:Vh.was significantly correlated with.th. h.aring th.esh.ld in th. low,middle,and h.gh.requency *** was also correlated with.th. h.aring th.esh.ld in th. low and middle ***,VIPE was not associated with.h.aring th.esh.lds,and VANV was only correlated with.th. h.aring th.esh.ld in low ***:Th. grade of Vh.Ch.and VANV were significantly correlated with.th. h.aring th.esh.lds in PTA.

Plasma electrolytic oxidation（PEO） was developed as a bond coat for air plasma sprayed（APS） nanostructure ZrO2 as top coat to enh.nce th. corrosion resistance and antibacterial activity of Mg alloy. Corrosion beh.vior and antibacterial activities of coated and uncoated samples were assessed by electroch.mical tests and agar diffusion meth.d toward Esch.rich.a coli（E. coli） bacterial path.gens, respectively. Th. lowest corrosion current density and th. h.gh.st ch.rge transfer resistance, ph.se angle and impedance modulus were observed for PEO/nano-ZrO2 coated sample compared with.th.se of PEO coated and bare Mg alloys. Nano-ZrO2 top coat wh.ch.h.s completely sealed PEO bond coat is able to considerably delay aggressive ions transportation towards Mg alloy surface and significantly enh.nces corrosion resistance of Mg alloy in simulated body fluid（SBF） solution. Moreover, h.gh.r antibacterial activity was also observed in PEO/nano-ZrO2 coating against bacterial strains th.n th.t of th. PEO coated and bare Mg alloys. Th.s observation was attributed to th. presence of ZrO2 nanoparticles wh.ch.decelerate E. coli growth.as a result of E. coli membranes.
