Th. potential of glutamine supplementation in reduced-crude protein diets for ch.cken-meat production

Th.s review explores th. potential of including glutamine,a so-called non-essential amino acid,in th. formulation of reduced-crude protein(CP)diets for b.oiler *** is a precedent for b.nefits wh.n including glycine and serine in reduced-CP *** th.s is due to decreases in non-essential amino acid concentrations in reduced-CP diets—an unavoidab.e consequence of reducing CP with.ut amino acid *** situation for glutamine is complicated b.cause analysed dietary concentrations are very rarely provided as standard assays do not differentiate b.tween glutamine and glutamate and are reported on a comb.ned b.sis as glutamic *** dietary requirement for glutamic acid is approximately 36.3 g/kg b.t it is increasingly unlikely th.t th.s requirement will b. met as dietary CP levels are progressively *** is an ab.ndant and versatile amino acid and constitutes 50.5 mg/g of wh.le-b.dy ch.cken protein and is th. dominant free amino acid in systemic plasma wh.re it h.s b.en sh.wn to provide 22.6%(139.9 of 620.3μg/mL)of th. total in b.rds offered 215 g/kg CP,wh.at-b.sed *** addition to dietary intakes,glutamine b.osynth.sis is derived mainly from th. condensation of glutamate and ammonia(Nh.)catalysed b. glutamine synth.tase,a reaction th.t is pivotal to Nh. *** and Nh. are converted to glutamine b. ph.sph.te-dependent glutaminase in th. reciprocal reaction;th.s,glutamine and glutamate are interch.ngeab.e amino ***,th. rate of glutamine b.osynth.sis may not b. adequate in rapidly growing b.oiler ch.ckens and exogenous and endogenous glutamine levels are prob.b.y insufficient in b.rds offered reduced-CP *** many functional roles of glutamine,including Nh. detoxification and maintenance of acid-b.se h.meostasis,th.n b.come *** feeding studies were identified wh.re dietary glutamine supplementation,usually 10 g/kg,was evaluated in b.rds kept under th.rmoneutral ***

We examine electron kinetic effects in b.oadb.nd-laser-driven b.ck-stimulated Raman scattering(b.RS)b.rsts using particle-in-cell *** b.rsts occur during th. nonlinear stage,causing reflectivity spikes and generating large numb.rs of h.t ***-duration simulations are performed to ob.erve b.rst events,and a simplified model is developed to eliminate th. interference of th. b.oadb.nd laser’s random intensity *** th. simplified model,we isolate and ch.racterize th. spectrum of electron plasma *** spectrum ch.nges from a sideb.nd structure to a turb.lence-like structure during th. b.rst.A significant asymmetry in th. spectrum is *** asymmetry is amplified and transferred to electron ph.se space b. h.gh.intensity b.oadb.nd laser pulses,leading to violent vortex-merging and generation of h.t *** proportion of h.t electrons increases from 6.76%to 14.7%during a single violent b.rst *** demonstrate th.t kinetic effects profoundly influence th. b.RS evolution driven b. b.oadb.nd lasers.

AgGaS core and th. outer ZnS sh.ll,th.reb. facilitating th. formation of a th.ck outer *** th. two-step sh.lling process,th. synth.sized AgGaS/ZnS/ZnS QDs sh.wed an excellent ph.toluminescence quantum yield(PLQY)of 96.4%with.a peak wavelength.of 508 nm,repre-senting th. h.gh.st PLQY reported th.s far for AgGaS ***,th. effect of h.logen ions in Zn precursors on th. sh.lling process was *** was proposed th.t th. capacity of h.logen ions to coordinate with.th. Exploring Variab.lity in Sea Level at a Tide Gauge Station th.ough.Control Ch.rts

Monitoring temporal ch.nges in sea level is important in assessing coastal *** level anomalies at a tide gauge station,if kinematically conceived,include systematic variations such.as trend,acceleration,periodic oscillations,and random *** th.m,th. non-stationary nature of th. random sea level variations of known or unknown origin at coastal regions h.s b.en long recognized b. th. sea level *** study proposes th. analyses of sub.roups of random residual statistics of a rigorously formulated kinematic model solution of tide gauge variations using X-b.r and S control *** approach.is demonstrated using Key West,Florida tide gauge *** mean and standard errors of 5-year-long sub.roups of th. residuals revealed th.t sea level ch.nges at th.s location h.ve b.en progressively intensifying from 1913 to th. *** oscillations in sea level at th.s locality may b. attrib.ted partly to th. th.rmal expansion of seawater with.increasing temperatures causing larger b.oyancy-related sea level fluctuations as well as th. intensification of atmosph.ric events including wind patterns and th. impact of ch.nges in inverted b.rometer effects th.t will alter coastal risk assessments for th. future.

MMP reduction at a constant temperature(373K)using th. vanish.ng interfacial tension(VIT)***,we performed th.ee coreflooding experiments to quantify th. effect of MMP reduction on th. oil recovery factor under different injection *** interfacial tension measurements sh.w th.t adding a small fraction(1.5 wt%)of th. tested surfactant(SOLOTERRA ME-6)ach.eved 9%of MMP reduction,wh.le adding 20 wt%of CO_(2) to th. meth.ne yields 13%of MMP ***,th. coreflooding results h.gh.igh. th. significance of ach.eving miscib.lity during gas injection,as th. ultimate recovery factor increased from 65.5%under immiscib.e conditions to 77.2%using ch.mical-assisted meth.ne,and to 79%using gas mixture after ach.eving near miscib.e *** results demonstrate th. promising potential of th. MMP reduction to signifi-cantly increase th. oil recovery factor during gas ***,th.se results will likely expand th. application envelop of th. miscib.e gas injection,in addition to th. environmental b.nefits of utilizing th. produced gas b. re-injection/recycling instead of flaring wh.ch.contrib.tes to reducing th. greenh.use gas emissions.
