In th. present work,tilted global solar irradiance data are presented and analysed,measured for a period of 1 year on th. campus of Bah.ain Polytech.ic,Kingdom of Bah.ain,from both.a fixed ph.tovoltaic panel and a moving one via a two-axis solar *** fixed panel faces south.with.an angle of 26°with.respect to th. h.rizontal,coinciding with.th. local geograph.cal *** second panel is moved by two motors,controlled by a global positioning system and suitable software so th.t th. Sun’s rays are perpendicular to th. panel surface.A pyranometer is installed on each.panel,recording th. tilted global solar irradiance,stored by using a data *** analysis of th. data obtained sh.ws a 33%solar energy gain on an annual basis for th. moving panel(2780 versus 2088 kWh.m^(2) on th. fixed panel).More importantly,in June,wh.n th. energy demand in Bah.ain is elevated due to th. increas.d.residential cooling loads,th. solar energy received by th. moving panel is 54.7%h.gh.r compared with.th.t of th. fixed *** a percentage basis,th. increase in solar energy from th. moving panel is profound in th. early morning and late evening ***,th. reduction in th. solar energy received by th. fixed panel from May to June does not appear in th. moving panel because of th. adjustable orientation of th. *** th. year,th. mean daily solar power varies between 0.37 and 0.56 kW/m^(2) for th. fixed panel,and 0.45 and 0.70 kW/m^(2) for th. moving *** winter,solar energy fluctuations are elevated due to erratic weath.r conditions th.t present a peak standard deviation of 28%of th. corresponding *** data presented are useful for potential solar investments in Gulf countries.

Allicin, an antioxidant, is known for providing garlic with.its unique fragrance and taste, as well as for its antimicrobial properties. Black garlic, a fermented form of garlic, contains h.gh.r levels of antioxidants th.n fresh.garlic. Antioxidants play a vital role in alleviating cellular stress during viral infections. Viral infections result in oxidative stress th.ough.th. production of reactive oxidative species (ROS). A prolonged state of oxidative stress can result in cell death. dNA damage, and disease progression. In th.s study, black garlic extract (BGE) is evaluated for its ability to mitigate cytopath.c effects and oxidative stress caused by h.rpes simplex virus-2 (h.V-2) infections in vitro. Antiviral assays were performed to determine th. percent of viral inh.bition resulting from treatment with.th. BGE. ROS-GloTM h.sub>2O2 assays were th.n completed to measure th. post-infection ROS levels of BGE-treated virus and cells. Th. results th.s far suggest th.t BGE may inh.bit viral infection and decrease levels of oxidative stress.

Th. mech.nical response of a single crystal titanium sample against(0001)α surface impact was investigated using molecular dynamics ***,non-uniform plastic deformation was observed in th. *** h.gh.strain rates,amorph.zation occurred near th. edge of th. contact region wh.re severe sh.ar strain induced a large number of stacking faults(SFs)and *** contrast,th. central part of th. contact region underwent less deformation with.significantly fewer ***,instead of amorph.zation by consuming SFs and dislocations,th.re was a gradual increase in th. density of dislocations and SFs during th. process of *** local amorph.us regions eventually grew into sh.ar bands.

Facial wound segmentation plays a crucial role in preoperative planning and optimizing patient outcomes in various medical *** th.s paper,we propose an efficient approach.for automating 3d facial wound segmentation using a two-stream graph.convolutional *** meth.d leverages th. Th.s paper is a furth.r elaboration of th. auth.r’s Time dilation Cosmology (TdC) h.lograph.c model th.t ties gravitation and celestial mech.nics and kinematics directly to time dilation, resolving all th. major conundrums in astroph.sics, and ties astroph.sics directly to quantum ph.sics. It begins with.a brief summary of th. TdC model and contains th. new derivation for th. time dilation version of th. formula for summing relativistic velocities, Einstein’s gravitational constant and th. time dilation versions for th. Lorentz factor and th. Euclidean norm of th. 3d velocity vector, th. two of wh.ch.can th.n be used in th. Four-velocity formula. It is demonstrated h.w orbital curvature is manifested as th. resultant of two time dilation-manifested velocities. It also explains wh. an interferometer cannot distinguish.free fall from zero gravity and furth.r elaborates on th. auth.r’s previous explanations of h.w spiral galaxies are formed, and contains math.matical proof th.t Black h.les are actually Magnetosph.ric Eternally Collapsing Objects (MECOs) th.t are massless spacetime vortices.

Validation of th. TOPAS Monte-Carlo Code of th. Off-Field dose of a 6 MV Synergy Linac

Th. risk of radiation-induced second cancer and th. late tissue loss due to Off-field doses in radioth.rapy remain a serious concern. Monte Carlo (MC) simulation is currently one of th. most accurate meth.ds for calculating th.se doses. MC simulation model bas.d.on th. Particle Simulation Tool (TOPAS) h.s been developed to simulate th. off-field dose of an Elekta Synergy linear accelerator (Linac) emitting 6 MV ph.tons. Measurements were taken in a water ph.ntom using an ionization ch.mber to validate th.s model. Th. Percentage depth.dose (Pdd) at th. depth.of 0.0, 5.0, 10.0 and 15.0 cm from th. beam axis for a 10 × 10 cm2 field size was measured and simulated. Off-field dose profiles at th. depth.of 1.5 (dmax), 5.0 and 10.0 cm for field sizes of 5 × 5, 10 × 10, 15 × 15, and 20 × 20 cm2 respectively were measured and simulated. Comparison of measured and simulated off-field dose values sh.wed a good agreement. Th. average gamma passing rate of th. Pdds and profiles curves for off-field doses were 87.5% and 98.11% respectively. Th. local dose difference bas.d.on th. Pdd curve between th. measured and simulated was less th.n 6.0 % for all locations. For all field size considered in th.s study, th. average difference between profile curves for off-field dose measured and simulated was 9.1%. Pdds and Profiles curves for off-field dose simulation uncertainties were less th.n 2.0% and 1.0% respectively. TOPAS-MC simulation model developed is a good representation of our 6 MV Linac Elekta Synergy for assessing off-field dose, wh.ch.would be th. primary cause of some secondary cancers.
