Com.arison of Treatm.nt Efficacy of Different Num.er of Botulinum.Toxin Type A Injection Sites for Crow's Feet Lines: A Single-Center Retrospective Clinical Study in Vietnam

Objective: Botulinum.toxin type A is frequently used to treat crow's feet lines. however, the optim.l dose and injection sites are still controversial. The objective of this study was to com.are the efficacy of different botulinum.toxin type A injection patterns for the treatm.nt of crow's feet. m.thods: This single-center, retrospective, clinical study was conducted at the National hospital of Derm.tology and Venereology from.July 2020 to Decem.er 2020. Data on 60 patients with crow's feet were collected and divided into 2 groups (3- or 4-point intram.scular injection) according to the intram.scular injection technique the patients received. The treatm.nt efficacy was assessed based on the changes in the Crow's Feet Grading Scale score at 1, 4, and 16 weeks after treatm.nt. Repeated m.asures analysis of variance was used for the assessm.nt of changes in scores over tim. between the two groups. Results: After treatm.nt, the average Crow's Feet Grading Scale score was significantly decreased com.ared with the pretreatm.nt score at all tim.points (1, 4, and 16 weeks) in both states (dynam.c: For 3-point intram.scular injection technique, 1 week: 1.90 ± 0.71 vs. 2.97 ± 0.56; 4 weeks: 1.87 ± 0.68 vs. 2.97 ± 0.56; 16 weeks: 2.60 ± 0.67 vs. 2.97 ± 0.56. Experim.ntal validation of double-fed induction generator in oscillating water colum. using circulatory system.based optim.zation

This paper validates the optim.l operation for a grid-connected double-fed induction generator (DFIG) in an oscillating water colum. power plant (OWCPP). This study presents a novel optim.zation technique called the circulatory system.based optim.zation (CSBO) approach to develop six adaptive fuzzy logic controllers (AFLCs) with 30 param.ters and com.are them.to chaotic-billiards optim.zation (C-BO) and genetic algorithm.(GA). The proposed controller is also com.ared with a proportional-integral differential (PID) controller based on a self-adaptive global-best harm.ny search (SGhS). CSBO-based AFLCs are fully investigated under different scenarios and experim.nted with using a real-tim. interface DSP1104. The results of using CSBO-AFLCs revealed a fast tim. response, fast convergence, less overshoot and m.nim.l error com.ared with those achieved with C-BO-AFLC, SGhS-PID and GA-AFLC during different case studies. The CSBO-based AFLCs ensure m.xim.m.power from.the DFIG in an OWCPP and enhance dynam.c response with very low errors. The results show that the CSBO shows better power tracking by 25% as com.ared with C-BO, by 45% when com.ared with the GA and by 56% when com.ared with PID. m.reover, the integral absolute errors of six controllers are investigated to dem.nstrate the feasibility of CSBO-AFLC. The root m.an square of the errors of six controllers using CSBO is im.roved by 68.27% when com.ared with GA, by 22.57% when com.ared with C-BO and by 38.42% when com.ared with PID. These indicators dem.nstrate the feasibility of CSBO when com.ared with other algorithm. with the sam. OWCPP. Tilted global solar irradiance in Bahrain: an experim.ntal study

In the present work, tilted global solar irradiance data are presented and analysed, m.asured for a period of 1 year on the cam.us of Bahrain Polytechnic, Kingdom.of Bahrain, from.both a fixed photovoltaic panel and a m.ving one via a two-axis solar tracker. The fixed panel faces south with an angle of 26 degrees with respect to the horizontal, coinciding with the local geographical latitude. The second panel is m.ved by two m.tors, controlled by a global positioning system.and suitable software so that the Sun's rays are perpendicular to the panel surface. A pyranom.ter is installed on each panel, recording the tilted global solar irradiance, stored by using a data logger. The analysis of the data obtained shows a 33% solar energy gain on an annual basis for the m.ving panel (2780 versus 2088 kWh/m. on the fixed panel). m.re im.ortantly, in June, when the energy dem.nd in Bahrain is elevated due to the increased residential cooling loads, the solar energy received by the m.ving panel is 54.7% higher com.ared with that of the fixed panel. On a percentage basis, the increase in solar energy from.the m.ving panel is profound in the early m.rning and late evening hours. m.reover, the reduction in the solar energy received by the fixed panel from.m.y to June does not appear in the m.ving panel because of the adjustable orientation of the latter. Throughout the year, the m.an daily solar power varies between 0.37 and 0.56 kW/m. for the fixed panel, and 0.45 and 0.70 kW/m. for the m.ving panel. In winter, solar energy fluctuations are elevated due to erratic weather conditions that present a peak standard deviation of 28% of the corresponding m.an. The data presented are useful for potential solar investm.nts in Gulf countries. Tilted global solar irradiance data are m.asured and analysed for a period of 1 year on the cam.us of Bahrain Polytechnic, Kingdom.of Bahrain, from.both a fixed photovoltaic panel and a m.ving one via a two-axis solar tracker. Nowcasting and forecasting solar irradiance are vital for the optim.l prediction of grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) power plants. These plants face operational challenges and scheduling dispatch difficulties due to the fluctuating nature of their power output. As the generation capacity within the electric grid increases, accurately predicting this output becom.s increasingly essential, especially given the random.and non-linear characteristics of solar irradiance under variable weather conditions. This study presents a novel prediction m.thod for solar irradiance, which is directly in correlation with PV power output, targeting both short-term.and m.dium.term.forecast horizons. Our proposed hybrid fram.work em.loys a fast trainable statistical learning technique based on the truncated-regularized kernel ridge regression m.del. The proposed m.thod excels in forecasting solar irradiance, especially during highly interm.ttent weather periods. A key strength of our m.del is the incorporation of m.ltiple historical weather param.ters as inputs to generate accurate predictions of future solar irradiance values in its scalable fram.work. We evaluated the perform.nce of our m.del using data sets from.both cloudy and sunny days in Seattle and m.dford, USA and com.ared it against three forecasting m.dels: persistence, m.dified 24-hour persistence and least squares. Based on three widely accepted statistical perform.nce m.trics (root m.an squared error, m.an absolute error and coefficient of determ.nation), our hybrid m.del dem.nstrated superior predictive accuracy in varying weather conditions and forecast horizons. A novel prediction m.thod for solar irradiance, targeting both short-term.and m.dium.term.forecast horizons, is proposed to im.rove PV power production. herein,we report the synthesis of a Dy-Gd co-doped cubic phase-stabilized Bi2O3solid electrolyte system.via solid-state processing under atm.spheric *** with Dy3+and Gd3+has been observed to significantly enhance the densification process during sintering for stabilization purposes,thereby im.roving the electrical properties of δ-Bi2O3-type *** synthesized ceram.cs were characterized using X-ray diffraction（XRD）,field em.ssion scanning electron m.croscopy-energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy（FESEm.EDX）,therm.l gravim.try/differential therm.l analysis（TG/DTA）,and the four-point probe technique（4PPT）.XRD analysis reveals that the sam.les Bi1-x-yGdxDyyO1.5（y=0.05/x=0.05,0.10,0,15,and 0.20,and x=0.05/y=0.10,0.15,and 0.20） exhibit a stable face-centered cubic δ-phase and a m.xed-phase crystallographic *** XRD analysis of the stabilized δ-phase suggests that the prepared oxides show a face-centered cubic（FCC） structure with a space group of *** m.crographs reveal that the com.osition Bi0.90Gd0.05Dy0.05O1.5has no significant ***,an evident increase in the pore form.tion is observed as the am.unt of Gd2O3increases until it reaches 20%.This finding suggests that dense pellets are form.d during the sintering process at 900-1000℃.The DTA analyses were perform.d to verify the phase stability,which agrees with the XRD *** electrochem.cal perform.nce of the synthesized Dy-Gd co-doped Bi2O3solid electrolyte system.was evaluated and analyzed in detail by using the electrochem.cal im.edance spectroscopy（EIS） technique,Based on EIS and conductivity m.asurem.nts,Bi0.75Gd0.20Dy0.05O1.5exhibits the lowest activation energy of 0.519 eV and the highest conductivity value of 0.398 S/cm.at 627℃com.ared to the other sam.les;this com.osition can be used as a solid electrolyte for interm.diatetem.erature solid oxide fuel cells（SOFCs）.

Five perovskite ceram.cs sam.les of Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) with x=0.00,0.05,0.10,0.15,and 0.20 were synthesized using the conventional solid-state reaction *** prepared sam.les were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform. infrared(FTIR),and UV-Vis *** shielding properties against ionizing radiation were also *** XRD analysis shows the perovskite cubic structure as the m.jor phase in all *** FTIR reveals a distinctive band around 614-620 cm.(-1) ascribed to the antisym.etric O-Sn-O ***-Vis spectroscopy was used to determ.ne the bandgap according to diffuse reflectance,and the results display a fixed enhancem.nt in the bandgap from.3.2 to 3.3 eV for all ***-ray shielding properties of the synthesized sam.les were experim.ntally m.asured and com.ared with XCOm.com.utational *** relative differences(Δ,%)between experim.ntal and theo retical values are low and fall within the 0.446%-7.10%*** addition of Er leads to the enhanced density,neutron,and gam.a shielding *** contrast,charged particles’shielding param.ters gradually reduce with rising Er *** results suggest that Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) sam.les can be used in different radiation shielding applications.
