Circadian clock drives the 24-h rhythm in our behavior and *** molecular clock consists of a series of transcriptional/translational feedback loops operated by a number of clock genes.A very recent study reported that the clock protein PERIOD(PER)is organized into discrete foci at the nuclear envelope in fly circadian neurons,which is believed to be important for controlling the subcellular localization of clock *** of inner nuclear membrane protein lamin B receptor(LBR)leads to disruption of these foci,but how they are regulated is yet ***,we found that PER foci are likely phase-separated condensates,the formation of which is mediated by intrinsically disordered region in *** promotes the accumulation of these *** phosphatase 2A,which is known to dephosphorylate PER,hampers the accumulation of the *** the other hand,the circadian kinase DOUBLETIME(DBT)which phosphorylates PER enhances the accumulation of the *** likely facilitates PER foci accumulation by destabilizing the catalytic subunit of protein phosphatase 2A,MICROTUBULE STAR(MTS).In conclusion,here,we demonstrate a key role for phosphorylation in promoting the accumulation of PER foci,while LBR modulates this process by impinging on the circadian phosphatase MTS.

A new chaotic particle swarm algorithm is proposed in order to avoid the premature convergence of the particle swarm optimization and the shortcomings of the chaotic optimization, such as slow searching speed and low accuracy when used in the multivariable systems or in large search space. The new algorithm combines the particle swarm algorithm and the chaotic optimization, using randomness and ergodicity of chaos to overcome the premature convergence of the particle swarm optimization. At the same time, a new neural network feedback linearization control system is built to control the single-machine infinite-bus system. The network parameters are trained by the chaos particle swarm algorithm, which makes the control achieve optimization and the control law of prime mover output torque obtained. Finally, numerical simulation and practical application validate the effectiveness of the method.

Fine particulate matter produced during the rapid industrialization over the past decades can cause significant harm to human ***-fluid atomization technology is an effective means of controlling fine particulate matter *** this paper,the influences of the main parameters on the droplet size,effective atomization range and sound pressure level(SPL)of a twin-fluid nozzle(TFN)are investigated,and in order to improve the atomization performance,a multi-objective synergetic optimization algorithm is presented.A multi-physics coupled acousticmechanics model based on the discrete phase model(DPM),large eddy simulation(LES)model,and Ffowcs Williams-hawkings(FW-h)model is established,and the numerical simulation results of the multi-physics coupled acoustic-mechanics method are verified via experimental *** on the analysis of the multi-physics coupled acoustic-mechanics numerical simulation results,the effects of the water flow on the characteristics of the atomization flow distribution were obtained.A multi-physics coupled acoustic-mechanics numerical simulation result was employed to establish an orthogonal test database,and a multi-objective synergetic optimization algorithm was adopted to optimize the key parameters of the *** optimal parameters are as follows:A gas flow of 0.94 m^(3)/h,water flow of 0.0237 m^(3)/h,orifice diameter of the self-excited vibrating cavity(SVC)of 1.19 mm,SVC orifice depth of 0.53 mm,distance between SVC and the outlet of nozzle of 5.11 mm,and a nozzle outlet diameter of 3.15 *** droplet particle size in the atomization flow field was significantly reduced,the spray distance improved by 71.56%,and the SPL data at each corresponding measurement point decreased by an average of 38.96%.The conclusions of this study offer a references for future TFN research.

Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) based composite materials become of great interest to applications as bearing and slider materials due to their excellent tribological performance. In present work, graphite and MoS2 (7%, wt) filled PEEK coatings were prepared using serigraph technique. Employing a uniform design experiment, the friction behavior of the composite coatings was systematically investigated under dry sliding conditions on a ball-on-disc arrangement. The evolution mechanism of coating friction coefficient was discussed. Correlation of coatings friction coefficient with sliding velocity and applied load was accomplished using stepwise regression method. The results indicate that friction coefficients of PEEK + MoS2 and PEEK + graphite coating decrease while increasing applied load. Moreover, friction coefficient of PEEK + MoS2 coating increases with increasing sliding velocity.

AIM: To evaluate the influence of various clinicopathologicfactors on survival of patients with bile duct carcinoma aftercurative ***: A retrospective analysis was made for 86 casesof bile duct carcinoma treated from January 1981 toSeptember 1995. Fifteen clinicopathologic factors possiblyinfluencing survival were selected. Independent variableswere first analyzed by univariate methods. Survival forvariable was estimated by the method of Kaplan and *** variables that were statistically significant by univarlateanalysis were included in a multivariate analysis, which wereconfirmed using the Cox stepwise proportion hazard modelwith the help of SPSS 10.0 for Windows ***: The overall cumulative survival rate was 72.6 %at 1 year, 32.4 % at 3 years, and 18.7 % at 5 years. Theresults of univariate analysis showed that the majorsignificant prognostic factors influencing survival of thesepatients were histological type of lesion, lymph nodemetastasis, pancreatic invasion, duodenal invasion, pedneuralinvasion, macroscopic vessel involvement, resected surgicalmargin and depth of cancer invasion (P＝0.02, 0.02, 0.004,0.005, 0.01, 0.43, 0.03 and 0.04). Age, sex, location of tumor,size of tumor, macroscopic type of lesions, hepaticmetastasis, and hepatic invasion were not significantlyassociated with prognosis (P＞0.05). Pancreatic invasion,perineural invasion and lymph node metastases were thethree most important prognostic factors by multivariateanalysis using the Cox proportional hazards ***: Pancreatic invasion, pedneural invasion andlymph node metastases are the most important prognosticfactors for bile duct carcinoma after curative resection.

Plant growth is controlled by integration of hormonal and light-signaling pathways. BZS1 is a B-box zinc finger protein previously characterized as a negative regulator in the brassinosteroid （BR）-signaling pathway and a positive regulator in the light-signaling pathway. however, the mechanisms by which BZS1/BBX20 integrates light and hormonal pathways are not fully understood. here, using a quantitative proteomic workflow, we identified several BZSl-associated proteins, including light-signaling compo- nents COP1 and hY5. Direct interactions of BZS1 with COPI and hY5 were verified by yeast two-hybrid and co-immunoprecipitation assays. Overexpression of BZS1 causes a dwarf phenotype that is sup- pressed by the by5 mutation, while overexpression of BZSI fused with the SRDX transcription repressor domain （BZS1-SRDX） causes a long-hypocotyl phenotype similar to by5, indicating that BZSI＇s function requires hY5. BZSI positively regulates hY5 expression, whereas hY5 negatively regulates BZS1 protein level, forming a feedback loop that potentially contributes to signaling dynamics. In contrast to BR, strigolactone （SL） increases BZS1 level, whereas the SL responses of hypocoryl elongation, chlorophyll and hY5 accumulation are diminished in the BZSI-SRDX seedlings, indicating that BZS1 is involved in these SL responses. These results demonstrate that BZS1 interacts with hY5 and plays a central role in integrating light and multiple hormone signals for photomorphogenesis in Arabidopsis.

Analysis of nonlinear settlement for an unsaturated soil under stage continuous loading

A new approach was proposed to describe settlement behavior of an unsaturated soil with subgrade filling for high-speed railway. Firstly, based on Terzaghi consolidation theory, equations considering the variation coefficient of consolidation with void ratio and saturation for consolidation of an unsaturated soil under stage continuous loading were derived, and according to analytical solutions of equations, a formula for settlement computation under stage continuous loading was obtained. Then, combined with the width-to-height ratio of subgrade to compute ground reaction, and by means of in-situ plate loading curves, a correctional approach was presented for the analysis of nonlinear settlement of foundation. Also, the comparison between calculated and measured loadsettlement behavior for an unsaturated soil in Qingdao-Ji'nan high-speed railway was given to demonstrate the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed approach. It can be noted that the presented solution can be used to predict the settlement of an unsaturated soil foundation under stage continuous loading in engineering design.

li metal batteries（LMBs） have attracted much attention due to the ultra-high theoretical capacity of the li metal anode（LMA）.however,the uncontrollable dendrites growth and low coulombic efficiency hinder their practical ***,we explore 3,5-difluoropyridine（2F-BD） as a novel electrolyte additive to enable highperformance *** 2F-BD additive participates in and modifies the solvation structure of li ions by reducing the coordinated number of PF6-at the electrode surface,leading to the formation of a liF and li3N-rich solid electrolyte interphase（SEI）.The liF component increases the robustness of SEI and suppresses the formation of li dendrites,while the li3N component facilitates the transportation and reaction kinetics of li *** a result,the li‖li symmetric cell presents a stable cycling performance of up to 500 h at a current density of 1 mA *** coupling with liFePO4cathode,the obtained full cell achieves high specific capacities of 106.06 mA h g-1and 84.98 mA h g-1at 2.55 mA cm-2and 5.10 mA cm-2,respectively,and maintains a high capacity retention of84.0% after 1000 cycles at 0.13 mA cm-2,with an average cycling CE of 99.58%.
