On M-theory on real toric fibrations

Borrowing ideas from elliptic complex geometry, we approach M-theory compactifications on real fibrations. Precisely, we explore real toric equations rather than complex ones exploited in F-theory and related dual models. These geometries have been built by moving real toric manifolds over real bases. Using topological changing behaviors, we unveil certain data associated with gauge sectors relying on affine lie symmetries.

Cadmium sulfide thin films growth by chemical bath deposition

Cadmium sulfide（Cd S） thin films have been prepared by a simple technique such as chemical bath deposition（CBD）. A set of samples Cd S were deposited on glass substrates by varying the bath temperature from 55 to 75 °C at fixed deposition time（25 min） in order to investigate the effect of deposition temperature on Cd S films physical properties. The determination of growth activation energy suggests that at low temperature Cd S film growth is governed by the release of Cd^（2＋） ions in the solution. The structural characterization indicated that the Cd S films structure is cubic or hexagonal with preferential orientation along the direction（111） or（002）, respectively. The optical characterization indicated that the films have a fairly high transparency, which varies between55% and 80% in the visible range of the optical spectrum, the refractive index varies from 1.85 to 2.5 and the optical gap value of which can reach 2.2 e V. It can be suggested that these properties make these films perfectly suitable for their use as window film in thin films based solar cells.

Therapeutic Effect of Zygophyllum cornutum on Metabolic Disturbances, Oxidative Stress in heart Tissue and histological Changes in Myocardium of Streptozotocin-induced Diabetic Rats

The present study depicts the therapeutic effect of Zygophyllum cornutum methanolic extract （ZCME） on metabolic disturbances, oxidative stress in heart and myocardium histological changes in streptozotocin （STZ）-induced diabetic rats. Three days after diabetes induction, ZCME was administered orally for six weeks （700 mg/kg bw/day）. Serum glucose and lipid profile were evaluated. Reduced glutathione （GSh）, catalase （CAT） and thiobarbituric acid reactive substances （TBARS） were measured in heart tissue. The results showed increased levels of blood glucose, total cholesterol （TC）, LDL cholesterol （LDL-C） and triglyceride （TG） in the diabetic rats. On the other hand, the level of hDL cholesterol （hDL-C） decreased. Compared to the control normal rats, the level of TBARS in heart tissue was markedly increased while GSh and CAT were significantly modified in the diabetic rats. Oral administration of ZCME has normalized serum glucose and lipid profile. TBARS were significantly reduced in heart while CAT and GSh were markedly normalized. Myocardium sections showed the absence of histological changes observed in the diabetic rats. The study suggests that Zygophyllum cornutum may provide a useful therapeutic option in the reversal of metabolic disturbances and oxidative stress-induced cardiac dysfunction in diabetes mellitus.
