Purpose:To identify risk factors for developing pressure ulcers(PUs)in the acute care period of traumatic spinal fracture patients with or without spinal cord injuries(SCIs).Methods:Data were collected prospectively in participating the National Spinal column/Cord Injury Registry of Iran(NSCIR-IR)from individuals with traumatic spinal fractures with or without SCIs,in-clusive of the hospital stay from admission to *** nursing staff examined the patients for the presence of PUs every 8 h during their hospital *** presence and grade of PUs were assessed according to the European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel *** addition to PU,following data were also extracted from the NSCIR-IR datasets during the period of 2015-2021:age,sex,Glasgow coma scale score at admission,having SCIs,marital status,surgery for a spinal fracture,American Spinal Injury Association impairment scale(AIS),urinary incontinence,level of education,admitted center,length of stay in the intensive care unit(ICU),hypertension,respiratory diseases,consumption of ciga-rettes,diabetes mellitus and length of stay in the *** regression models were used to es-timate the unadjusted and adjusted odds ratio(OR)with 95%confidence intervals(CI).Results:Altogether 2785 participants with traumatic spinal fractures were *** them,87(3.1%)developed PU during their hospital stay and 392(14.1%)had *** the SCI population,63(16.1%)developed PU during hospital *** logistic regression for the whole sample showed that marital status,having SCIs,urinary incontinence,level of education,treating center,number of days in the ICU,age,and Glasgow coma scale score were significant predictors for ***,further analysis by multiple logistic regression only revealed the significant risk factors to be the treating center,marital status,having SCIs,and the number of days in the *** the subgroup of individuals with SCIs,marital status,AIS,urinary incontinenc

The community living around the Cikaniki Area of Gunung halimun Salak National Park(CAGhSNP)uses various plants to fulfill their *** habits are related to indigenous knowledge of using plants as food,medicine,construction,and household utilities,which dynamic societal changes have not *** study aimed to inventory and update potential plants used as food,medicine,construction,and household utilities by local communities in the Cikaniki area,and measure and analyze their cultural and ethnobotanical *** study objected to five hamlets in the Cikaniki at Malasari Village,Nanggung District,Bogor Regency,West Java,*** quantitative analysis was calculated based on the Informant Consensus Factor,Fidelity Level,and Use *** analyzed the qualitative data based on the data collection through observation,interviews,and documentation from informants and respondents in five *** study recorded 199 plant species from 75 families used by the community of *** most utilized species in Cikaniki were Staurogyne elongata,Caryota mitis,Blumea balsamifera,Castanopsis argentea,Pilea melastomoides,and Piper *** are 72 species of plants used as food,122species for medicinal purposes,and 50 species of plants used for construction and household *** potential plant species in the CA-GhSNP,their utilization categories,and recommendation for conservation strategy are discussed.

The aim of the study was to synthesize zinc oxide nanoparticles(ZnONPs)composite with clay by a novel route and then to explore the capability of composite of ZnONPs and silty clay(SC)as adsorbents for Pb(II)eradication from aqueous media by batch adsorption *** effect of different operating factors like temperature,ph,dose and time of contact on the adsorption process were studied to optimize the ***,Freundlich,Dubinin-Radushkevich(DR)and Temkin isotherms were applied for the interpretation of the *** R^(2)and q values obtained from Langmuir model suggested that the process is best interpreted by this *** values of adsorption capacity(qm)noted were 12.43 mg·g^(-1) and 14.54 mg·g^(-1)on SC and ZnONPsSC *** kinetic studies exposed that pseudo second order(PSO)kinetics is followed by the processes suggesting that more than one steps are involved to control the rate of *** thermodynamic variables such as change in free energy(AGe),change in enthalpy(Ah9)and change in entropy(ASe)were *** data suggested that Pb(II)adsorption on SC and ZnONPsSC are spontaneous,endothermic and feasible processes.

This study focused,for the first time,on the effect of ultrasonic features on the extraction efficiency of secondary metabolites in mustard seed cake(MSC).The nematostatic potential of sonicated seed cake was examined against the second-stage juveniles(J2s)of root-knot nematode,Meloidogyne *** results show that a 35 ppm(parts per million)concentration of a sonicated extract(SE)sample of MSC caused 65%J2s mortality at 18 h exposure period in *** also significantly suppressed the root-knot index(RKI=0.94)in tomato *** lethal concentration values for SE were 51.76,29.79,and 13.34 ppm,respectively,at 6,12,and 18 h of the exposure period,and the lethal concentration values for the non-sonicated extract(NSE)sample were 116.95,76.38,and 55.59 ppm,respectively,at similar exposure *** and gluconapin were identified as the major compounds in ultrasonic-assisted *** of the high extraction efficiency of metabolites in the SE,all treat‐ments of SE were shown to be antagonistic to ***,this study of ultrasonication activity-based profiling of MSC may help generate target-based compounds at a scale relevant to the control of disease caused by nematodes in economic crops.

Mixed cation and anion based perovskites solar cells exhibited enhanced stability under outdoor conditions,however,it yielded limited power conversion efficiency when TiO_(2) and Spiro-OMeTAD were employed as electron and hole transport layer(ETL/hTL)*** inevitable interfacial recombination of charge carriers at ETL/perovskite and perovskite/hTL interface diminished the efficiency in planar(n-i-p)perovskite solar *** employing computational approach for uni-dimensional device simulator,the effect of band offset on charge recombination at both interfaces was *** noted that it acquired cliff structure when the conduction band minimum of the ETL was lower than that of the perovskite,and thus maximized interfacial ***,if the conduction band minimum of ETL is higher than perovskite,a spike structure is formed,which improve the performance of solar *** optimum value of conduction band offset allows to reach performance of 25.21%,with an open circuit voltage(VOC)of 1231 mV,a current density JSC of 24.57 mA/cm^(2) and a fill factor of 83.28%.Additionally,we found that beyond the optimum offset value,large spike structure could decrease the *** an optimized energy level of Spiro-OMeTAD and the thickness of mixed-perovskite layer performance of 26.56% can be *** results demonstrate a detailed understanding about the energy level tuning between the charge selective layers and perovskite and how the improvement in PV performance can be achieved by adjusting the energy level offset.

The direct determination of toxic metal ions, in environmental samples, is difficult because of the latter＇s presence in trace concentration in association with complex matrices, thereby leading to insufficient sensitivity and selectivity of the methods used. The simultaneous removal of the matrix and preconcentration of the metal ions, through solid phase extraction,serves as the promising solution. The mechanism involved in solid phase extraction（SPE）depends on the nature of the sorbent and analyte. Thus, SPE is carried out by means of adsorption, ion exchange, chelation, ion pair formation, and so forth. As polymeric supports, the commercially available Amberlite resins have been found very promising for designing chelating matrices due to its good physical and chemical properties such as porosity, high surface area,durability and purity. This review presents an overview of the various works done on the modification of Amberlite XAD resins with the objective of making it an efficient sorbent. The methods of modifications which are generally based on simple impregnation, sorption as chelates and chemical bonding have been discussed. The reported results, including the preconcentration limit, the detection limit, sorption capacity, preconcentration factors etc., have been reproduced.

The performance of the two newly developed bimetallic catalysts based on the precursor, Mo/Al_2O_3, was compared for reverse water gas shift(RWGS) reaction. The structures of the precursor and the catalysts were studied using X-ray diffraction(XRD), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller(BET) analysis, inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry(ICP-AES), CO chemisorption, temperature programmed reduction of hydrogen(h_2-TPR) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM) techniques. The activity of Fe-Mo and Co-Mo catalysts was compared in a fixed bed reactor at different temperatures. It is shown that the Co-Mo catalyst has higher CO_2 conversion at all temperature level. The time-on-stream(TOS) analysis of the activity of catalysts for the RWGS reaction was carried out over a continuous period of 60h for both catalysts. The Fe-Mo/Al_2O_3 catalyst exhibits good stability within a period of 60h, however, the Co-Mo/Al_2O_3 is gradually deactivated after 50h of reaction time. Existence of(Fe_2(MoO4_))_3 phase in Fe-Mo/Al_2O_3 catalyst makes this catalyst more stable for RWGS reaction.
