Ecoflex is widely used in bioelectronics due to its outstanding properties of low modulus and large *** its use as an encapsulation layer in multi-channel wearable devices,a patterning procedure is ***,conventional patterning strategies for Ecoflex,such as soft lithography,punching,and laser ablation,lack sufficient quality and process *** address this,we propose a process-compatible method of patterning Ecoflex by developing Photo-patternable Ecoflex(PPE).The PPE layer,used as an encapsulation layer,effectively dissipates strain energy at homogeneous interfaces,resulting in a 50%increase in electrical conductance under 250%*** PPE,we fabricated intrinsically stretchable multi-sensors that monitor bio-signals like glucose,lactate,pH,and humidity in *** sensors maintain durable sensitivity under strain up to 50%and for 1000 cycles at 20%***,we mounted these stretchable multi-chemical sensors on an arm to monitor glucose and lactate levels in sweat.

In the automotive electronics industry, demand for low-cost, high strength-to in-service performance for electronic components continues to drive the development of vehicles’ door Wiring Harness (W/H) system for new applications. The problem of the fatigue strength estimation of materials or components containing natural defects, inclusions or in homogeneities is of great importance from both a scientific and industrial point of view. This article gives some insight into the dimensioning process, with special focusing on fatigue analysis of W/H in a vehicle’s door structures. An en-durance life prediction of door W/H was calculated using finite element analyses. Endurance test data for slim test specimens were compared with the predicted fatigue life for verification. The final life expectancy of the component combines the effects of these microstructural features with the complex stress state arising from the combined service loading and residual stresses.

A Pilot Study on the Effect of Pelvic Exercise on Standing Balance in Patients with Incomplete Cervical Spinal

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of pelvic exercise on standing balance in patients with incomplete cervical spinal cord injury for healthy rehabilitation. 11 patients (8 men and 3 women) with levels of incomplete injury between cervical 3 and cervical 6 who were participated in a study measuring the standing balance using an interactive balance system (IBS) before and after pelvic exercise. The index of standing balance after pelvic exercise was significantly lower than before exercise in patients with incomplete cervical cord injury. The greatest improvements were observed in incomplete cervical spinal cord injury with neurologic levels of cervical 3 and 4 with Brown-Sequard syndrome. These results suggest that the pelvic exercise for rehabilitation significantly improved in part standing balance in patients with incomplete cervical spinal cord injury.

Dear Editor,Eliminating misfolded or mistargeted proteins is crucial for cell viability because these proteins accumulate as non-specific aggregates, which can be toxic to the cell （Lee et al., 2009; Sroka et al., 2009）. Previously, we have shown that in ppi2 （plastid protein import 2） mutant plants, the transcript levels of Hsc70-4 （one isoform of the Hsc70 family） and CHIP （an E3 ligase） were highly upregulated, which ultimately plays crucial roles in proteasomal degradation of unimported plastid proteins （Lee et al., 2009）. We also found that, along with those of Hsc70-4 and CHIP, the transcript level of AtBAG1 （Arabidopsis thaliana Bcl2-associated athanogene 1） in the ppi2 mutant was 2.38-fold higher than that in the wild-type （Lee et al., 2009）.

Understanding the Characteristics of the Scalp for Developing Scalp Care Products

With the exception of conditions such as dandruff, interest in the scalp is relatively low. However, when we consider the scalp as part of the skin, interesting observations can be made. The average amount of sebum secretion in the scalp varies depending on sex. Several studies show differences in scalp characteristics among races, but in some cases, these are difficult to find. The scalp has a weaker barrier function than does facial skin. The reason for the weak barrier function is unclear, but it is necessary to consider the effect of dandruff on the scalp. Growth of dandruff-related bacteria weakens the barrier. However, strengthening the barrier suppresses dandruff. In other words, there is an interdependency between scalp bacteria and skin, which is important for the maintenance of scalp barrier homeostasis. Anxiety regarding a sensitive scalp is as high as that for sensitive skin. At least 40% - 50% of individuals in modern society have complaints such as itching due to a sensitive scalp. The sensitivity of the scalp is similar between races. This is not a skin disease, but we have to think about how problems that customers face can be solved. Skin barrier and sensitive scalp are closely related. Collectively, strengthening or lowering the effect on the scalp barrier may result in a healthy scalp environment. As a result, it will alleviate people’s complaints about the scalp.

A 24-year-old male presented after being involved in a motorcycle accident and was found to have soft tissue defects of the knee with exposure of *** to the severe injury from the popliteal fossa to the posterior aspects of the lower leg,repair with a free flap from anterolateral thigh perforator was planned instead of local calf muscle *** angiography was performed,and it showed that superior medial genicular perforator was patent compared with unreliable filling of the superior lateral genicular *** soft tissue defect was repaired using the superior medial genicular perforator as the recipient *** was performed by creating perforator to perforator anastomosis(supermicrosurgery).The flap survived successfully,and the patient was able to ambulate in a few weeks without serious *** case indicates that superior medial genicular perforator can be used as the recipient vessel for covering the soft tissue defects of the knee caused by blunt injury.

采用有限条法分析了方钢管填充混凝土后的弹性及弹塑性屈曲性能,考虑了钢板受均匀压应力作用和应力梯度变化两种工况,计算了钢板的临界屈曲应力,分析了残余应力对临界屈曲应力的影响.结果表明:当截面相对宽厚比低于30时,钢管内部填充混凝土并不能提高钢管的屈曲承载力;截面宽厚比超过30以后,随着截面宽厚比的增加,钢管内部填充混凝土后对钢管承载力的提高幅度越来越大,承载力提高幅度最大为空钢管承载力的2.58倍;并能有效提高钢板的抗弯屈曲承载力;残余应力的存在使得钢板在弹性和弹塑性阶段的屈曲承载力降低,残余应力越大,临界屈曲应力越低.

A high-performance liquid chromatographic method for the simultaneous determination of KR-008 and its metabolite in biological fluids was developed The samples were injected directly without further treatment,the compounds were separated and analysed on a reversed- phase column under isocratic conditions,including ion *** in urine and bile were determined by an external standard *** detection limit was 0.8μg/ml in *** data showed that,following ***(120mg/kg)of KR-008 to rats,approximately 2.8% of the dose was excreted in urine as unchanged compound and more than 8.9% was as a metabolite;in bile it was 0.73% excreted as unchanged form and above 0.29% as the *** peak biliary concentration of KR-008 was 0.39mg/ml at 20min after dosing.
