The tumor microenvironment is composed of a compl.x mixture of different cel. types interacting under conditions of nutrient deprivation,but the metabol.sm therein is not ful.y understood due to difficul.ies in measuring metabol.c fl.xes and exchange of metabol.tes between different cel. types in ***-scal. metabol.c model.ng enabl.s estimation of such exchange fl.xes as wel. as an opportunity to gain insight into the metabol.c behavior of individual.cel. ***,we estimated the avail.bil.ty of nutrients and oxygen within the tumor microenvironment using concentration measurements from bl.od together with a metabol.te diffusion *** addition,we devel.ped an approach to efficientl. appl. enzyme usage constraints in a comprehensive metabol.c model.of human *** combined model.ng reproduced severe hypoxic conditions and the Warburg effect,and we found that l.mitations in enzymatic capacity contribute to cancer cel.s’preferential.use of gl.tamine as a substrate to the citric acid ***,we investigated the common hypothesis that some stromal.cel.s are expl.ited by cancer cel.s to produce metabol.tes useful.for the cancer *** identified over 200 potential.metabol.tes that coul. support col.aboration between cancer cel.s and cancer-associated fibrobl.sts,but when l.miting to metabol.tes previousl. identified to participate in such col.aboration,no growth advantage was *** work highl.ghts the importance of enzymatic capacity l.mitations for cel. behaviors and exempl.fies the util.ty of enzyme-constrained model. for accurate prediction of metabol.sm in cel.s and tumor microenvironments.

选择43头大白猪，79头长白猪，66头皮特兰猪和60头清平猪作试验材料，采用焦磷酸测序技术分析猪线粒体细胞色素b(CytB)基因单倍型。研究结果显示CytB基因可分为4种单倍型E1，E2，A1和A2。清平猪仅存在于A1单倍型(100%)，大白猪和长白猪存在于E1(49.19%, 79.25%)和A1(55.81%, 20.25%)单倍型，皮特兰则存在于E1(57.58%)和A2(42.42%)单倍型。

AIM To eval.ate sex differences and the effects of oestrogen administration in rat gastric mucosal.*** Sex differences in gastric mucus thickness and accumul.tion rate, absol.te gastric mucosal.bl.od fl.w using microspheres, the integrity of the gastric mucosal.epithel.um in response to a chemical.irritant and the effects of oestrogen administration on rel.tive gastric mucosal.bl.od fl.w in an acute setting was assessed in an in vivo rat experimental.model. Subsequentl., sex differences in the distribution of oestrogen receptors and cal.itonin gene rel.ted peptide in the gastric mucosa of animal. exposed to oestrogen in the above experiments was eval.ated using *** The absol.te bl.od fl.w in the GI-tract was general.y higher in mal.s, but onl. significantl. different in the corpus part of the stomach (1.12 ± 0.12 m l.min·g in mal.s and 0.51 ± 0.03 m l.min·g in femal.s) (P = 0.002). After removal.of the l.osel. adherent mucus l.yer the thickness of the firml. adherent mucus l.yer in mal.s and femal.s was 79 ± 1 μm and 80 ± 3 μm respectivel.. After 60 min the mucus thickness increased to 113 ± 3 μm in mal.s and 121 ± 3 μm in femal.s with no statistical.y significant difference seen between the sexes. Fol.owing oestrogen administration(0.1 fol.owed by 1 μg/kg·min), mean bl.od fl.w in the gastric mucosa decreased by 31% [68 ± 13 perfusion units (PFU)] in mal.s which was significantl. different compared to basel.ne(P = 0.02). In femal.s however, mean bl.od fl.w remained l.rgel. unchanged with a 4% (5 ± 33 PFU) reduction. The permeabil.ty of the gastric mucosa increased to a higher l.vel.in femal.s than in mal.s (P = 0.01) after taurochol.te chal.enge. However, the cal.ul.ted mean cl.arance increase did not significantl. differ between the sexes [0.1 ± 0.04 to 1.1 ± 0.1 m l.min·100 g in mal.s and 0.4 ± 0.3 to 2.1 ± 0.3 m l.min·100 g in femal.s(P = 0.065)]. Investigations about l.ying hens reactions on artificial.l.ght conditions were carried out in a cl.mate chamber equipped with a fl.or housing system for l.ying hens. The rel.ase of moisture increased during l.ght periods probabl. due to increased activity which increased respiration rate but al.o on increased scratching which increased evaporation of moisture from bedding material. The dail. average was 6.29 g henl.h＂l.at 4 l.x and 5.97 g henl.hl. at 93 l.x which corresponds to a difference of 5%. The l.vel.of l.ght intensity seemed to have l.ttl. infl.ence on the rel.ase of moisture. The total.rel.ase of heat was sl.ghtl. higher during l.ght periods compared to dark periods. Expl.nations can be increased activity but al.o feed intake increasing the metabol.c rate during l.ght periods. The dail. average of total.heat production was 17.0 W per hen at 4 l.x and 14.7 at 93 l.x which corresponds to a difference of 16%. The rel.ase of carbon dioxide increased during l.ght periods probabl. due to increased activity and respiration.

Interl.ukin-1α (Il.1α) is a proinfl.mmatory cytokine that has al.o been found to act as a paracrine mediator invol.ed in the regul.tion of testicul.r functions. The present review provides an overview of the rol. of Il.1α in testicul.r physiol.gy. Bioactive Il.1α isol.ted from adul. rat testis was found to consist of three distinct immunoreactive protein species with apparent sizes of 45, 24 and 19 kDa. These isoforms showed bioactivity in a thymocyte prol.feration and steroidogenesis assays with different biopotencies. The background of the mol.cul.r heterogeneity and processing, secretion and regul.tion of the isoforms of testicul.r Il.1α are discussed. Al. three isoforms have been found to be secreted into the testis tubul.r l.men and interstitial.space. We have provided evidence that Il.1α is a paracrine factor that may be of importance in, e.g., the regul.tion of l.ydig cel. steroidogenesis. Pathophysiol.gical.y, testicul.r Il.1α may contribute to testicul.r rel.pse of acute l.mphocytic l.ukemia in boys.

Col.r pol.morphism offers rich opportunities for studying the eco-evol.tionary mechanisms that drive the adaptations of l.cal.popul.tions to heterogeneous and changing *** expl.red the col.r morph diversity and composition in a Chrysomel. l.pponica l.af beetl. across its entire distribution range to test the hypothesis that environmental.and cl.matic variabl.s shape spatiotemporal.variation in the phenotypic structure of a pol.morphic *** obtained information on 13617 specimens of this beetl. from museums,private col.ections,and *** specimens(col.ected from 1830-2020)originated from 959 l.cal.ties spanning 33°l.titude,178°l.ngitude,and 4200 m *** cl.ssified the beetl.s into five col.r morphs and searched for environmental.factors that coul. expl.in the variation in the l.vel.of pol.morphism(quantified by the Shannon diversity index)and in the rel.tive frequencies of individual.col.r *** highest l.vel.of pol.morphism was found at high l.titudes and *** col.r morphs differed in their cl.matic requirements;composition of col.ur morphs was independent of the geographic distance that separated popul.tions but changed with col.ection year,l.ngitude,mean Jul. temperature and betweenyear temperature *** proportion of mel.nic beetl.s,in l.ne with the thermal.mel.nism hypothesis,increased with increasing l.titude and al.itude and decreased with increasing cl.mate *** morph frequencies al.o decl.ned during the past century,but onl. at high l.titudes and al.itudes where recent cl.mate warming was especial.y *** observed patterns suggest that col.r pol.morphism is especial.y advantageous for popul.tions inhabiting unpredictabl. environments,presumabl. due to the different cl.matic requirements of coexisting col.r morphs.

在针叶林土壤和水系统中,硒通常与腐殖物质缔合存在,为进一步澄清有关机理,作者将标记亚硒酸盐和非标记亚硒酸盐加入两个林地表土和一个棕色湖水样品中,并应用连续提取方法和色谱分析技术对硒和腐殖物质间的缔合作用进行了测定,结果表明,通过微生物的还原作用,加人的亚硒酸盐大部分被林地表土所固定,硒优先进人了低分子量的腐殖物质组分中,相反,在棕色湖水样品的试验中,硒的还原反应速率慢。因此,在所试验的条件下当竞争的配位体浓度较低时,硒与金属腐殖质复合体的无机复合作用,是硒与腐殖质缔合的重要作用。

Many patients with l.ft ventricul.r systol.c dysfunction have concomitant mitral.regurgitation(MR). Their symptoms and prognosis worsen with increasing severity of MR. Percutaneous Mitra Cl.p® can be used safel. to reduce the severity of MR even in patients with advanced heart fail.re and is associated with improved symptoms, qual.ty of l.fe and exercise tol.rance. However, a few patients with very poor l.ft ventricul.r systol.c function may experience significant haemodynamic disturbance in the peri-procedural.period. We present three such patients, highl.ghting some of the potential.probl.ms encountered and discuss their possibl. pathophysiol.gical.mechanisms and safety measures.
