The island-based energy storage is of urgent need for the grid construction combined with renewable energy for offshore *** direct use of seawater as a substitute of deionized water shows its great promise for aqueous zinc-ion batteries in such a specific ***,the metal corrosion,dendrite growth,and hydrogen evolution stand out in the harsh seawater *** address these challenges,we proposed a corrosion inhibitor that was effective in the field of metal anti-corrosion,2-phosphonobutane-1,2,4-tricarboxylic acid（PBTCA）,to inhibit anode corrosion caused by Cl-and active H2O molecules by forming a stable solid electrolyte interphase（SEI） film in the seawater-based ***,PBTCA can chelate with other cations present in seawater,such as Ca2+and Mg2+,thereby preventing the aggregation and precipitation of sparingly soluble *** a current density of5 mA cm-2,the seawater-based zinc-ion battery exhibited an exceptional cycle life exceeding 2000 h and maintained a Coulombic efficiency of over 99.6% after 2000 ***,the performance of the Zn||ZVO full battery was significantly enhanced with the addition of *** study provides a simple,low-cost,and efficient approach for making the seawater-based zinc-ion batteries useable.

Using geometry optimization and DFT method at the B3LYP/6-31G* level for C20H10, an equilibrium geometry is identified to have the form of polyhedral hydrocarbon with five carbon-carbon single bonds linking two pentaprismane cages. Thus, C20H10 is a tri-cage molecule with three pentaprismane cages. Vibrational frequencies and infrared spectrum are computed at the same level. The heat of formation for this molecule has also been estimated in this paper.

Internet of things(IoT) can provide the function of product traceability for industrial systems. Emerging blockchain technology can solve the problem that the current industrial Internet of things(IIoT) system lacks unified product data sharing services. Blockchain technology based on the directed acyclic graph(DAG) structure is more suitable for high concurrency environments. But due to its distributed architecture foundation, direct storage of product data will cause authentication problems in data management. In response, IIoT based on DAG blockchain is proposed in this paper, which can provide efficient data management for product data stored on DAG blockchain, and an authentication scheme suitable for this structure is given. The security of the scheme is based on a discrete-logarithm-based assumption put forth by Lysyanskaya, Rivest, Sahai and Wolf(LRSW) who also show that it holds for generic groups. The sequential aggregation signature scheme is more secure and efficient, and the new scheme is safe in theory and it is more efficient in engineering.

Lithium–sulfur(Li-S)batteries are promising next-generation energy storage systems with ultrahigh energy ***,the intrinsic sluggish“solid–liquid–solid”reaction between S8 and Li2S causes unavoidable shuttling of polysulfides,severely limiting the practical energy density and cycling ***,the catalysis process has been introduced for the sulfur redox reaction to accelerate the conversion of polysulfides,providing a positive remedy for the polysulfides ***,in-depth understanding of the catalyst evaluation criteria and catalytic mechanism still lies in the“black box”,and precise characterization technique is the key to unlock this *** this review,we provide a comprehensive overview of characterization techniques on the catalyst in Li-S batteries from two aspects of catalytic performance and catalytic mechanism,highlighting their significance and calling for more efforts to develop precise and fast techniques for Li-S ***,we envision the future development of characterization for better understanding the catalysis toward practical Li-S battery.

Practical Li-sulfur batteries require the high sulfur loading cathode to meet the large-capacity power demand of electrical ***,the sulfur content in cathode materials is usually unsatisfactory due to the excessive use of carbon for improving the *** cathode fabrication strategies can hardly realize both high sulfur content and homogeneous sulfur distribution without ***,we designed a cathode material with ultrahigh sulfur content of 88%(mass fraction)by uniformly distributing the water dispersible sulfur nanoparticles on three-dimensionally conductive graphene *** water processable fabrication can maximize the homogeneous contact between sulfur nanoparticles and graphene,improving the utilization of the interconnected conductive *** obtained cathode material showed a capacity of 500 mA·h/g after 500 cycles at 2.0 A/g with an areal loading of 2 mg/*** strategy provides possibility for the mass production of high-performance electrode materials for high-capacity Li-S battery.

在实现“双碳”目标过程中,我国高度重视先进储能技术创新。在国家政策和产业需求的推动下,储能技术高速发展,导致储能领域规模化发展所需基础人才缺口严峻、高端专业人才严重短缺;教育部在2020年新建储能科学与工程专业,以满足储能领域“高精尖缺”人才培养需求。而储能科学与工程是一门由动力工程及工程热物理、化学工程与技术、电气工程、材料科学与工程、管理科学与工程等多学科渗透、融合形成的新学科,是典型的交叉学科,学科覆盖面广、知识结构复杂,因此其高端人才培养也面临严峻的挑战。面对以上难题,天津大学基于丰富的新工科教育改革经验,突破现有学科和专业束缚,依托国家储能技术产教融合创新平台实施储能专业人才培养的探索与实践,通过校企联合培养模式改革、共建校企联合实习实践基地、企业导师队伍建设等系列举措构建“1+N+X”产教融合协同育人模式,在天津大学储能专业研究生培养、本科生企业实习、项目制实践教学、高端培训等人才培养环节进行实践与探索,并取得良好效果,对储能领域高端人才培养具有推广价值。

Ghosh等在NDSS 2023上首次提出了一种去中心化环境下用户建立信任机制的隐私保护认证人求交(private certifier intersection, PCI)协议。在PCI协议中,持有不同证书的双方能够计算出公共的认证人即证书中心(certificate authority, CA)集合,同时以隐私保护的方式验证这些认证人颁发的证书是否有效。PCI协议可用于解决去中心化环境下双方用户在没有先验的情况下建立相互信任机制的问题,但采用了复杂的安全多方计算方法导致效率不高,而且要求参与双方使用相同的签名算法,这在实际应用中是不合理的。针对这些问题,基于可信执行环境(trusted execution environment, TEE)提出一个新的PCI协议。所提协议采用TEE完成认证人求交过程且支持参与双方采用任意的数字签名算法生成证书,更具有实用性。实验结果表明所提协议在效率上明显优于Ghosh等的PCI协议。

Energy storage is an effective way to address the instability of renewable energy generation modes,such as wind and solar,which are projected to play an important role in the sustainable and low-carbon *** and carbon emissions are important indicators that should be thoroughly considered for evaluating the feasibility of energy storage technologies(ESTs).In this study,we study two promising routes for large-scale renewable energy storage,electrochemical energy storage(EES)and hydrogen energy storage(HES),via technical analysis of the *** levelized cost of storage(LCOS),carbon emissions and uncertainty assessments for EESs and HESs over the life cycle are conducted with full consideration of the critical links for these *** order to reduce the evaluation error,we use the Monte Carlo method to derive a large number of data for estimating the economy and carbon emission level of ESTs based on the collected *** results show that lithium ion(Li-ion)batteries show the lowest LCOS and carbon emissions,at 0.314 US$kWh-1 and 72.76 g CO_(2) e kWh^(-1),compared with other batteries for *** HES routes,meaning different combinations of hydrogen production,delivery and refueling methods,show substantial differences in economics,and the lowest LCOS and carbon emissions,at 0.227 US$kWh^(-1) and 61.63 gCO_(2) e kWh^(-1),are achieved using HES routes that involve hydrogen production by alkaline electrolyzer(AE),delivery by hydrogen pipeline and corresponding *** findings of this study suggest that HES and EES have comparable levels of economics and carbon emissions that should be both considered for large-scale renewable energy storage to achieve future decarbonization goals.

Conventional carbon materials cannot combine high density and high porosity,which are required in many applications,typically for energy storage under a limited space.A novel highly dense yet porous carbon has previously been produced from a three-dimensional(3D)reduced graphene oxide(r-GO)hydrogel by evaporation-induced *** the mechanism of such a network shrinkage in r-GO hydrogel is specifically illustrated by the use of water and 1,4-dioxane,which have a sole difference in surface *** a result,the surface tension of the evaporating solvent determines the capillary forces in the nanochannels,which causes shrinkage of the r-GO *** promisingly,the selection of a solvent with a known surface tension can precisely tune the microstructure associated with the density and porosity of the resulting porous carbon,rendering the porous carbon materials great potential in practical devices with high volumetric performance.
