马圈沟遗址是东北亚地区年代最古老的旧石器时代遗址之一,出土了大量石制品及动物化石,现已发现并确认距今1.76~1.26 Ma之间的17个不同阶段的文化层,为探讨早更新世东北亚地区最早人类的扩散与生存适应方式提供了关键材料。本文以距今1.66 Ma的马圈沟遗址第3文化层2001~2003年出土的大、中型哺乳动物长骨为研究材料,开展骨骼破碎方式的分析。研究表明,这批长骨化石以残段及残片为主,通过对它们的断口形态和质地,特别是破裂断口的角度进行测量、统计以及分析,发现大多数长骨是在新鲜状况下破裂的,而古人类很可能是敲碎骨骼和取食骨髓的主体;食肉类动物也造成了一些骨骼的破裂,但应该发生在古人类的行为之后。本文是首次对中国北方早更新世遗址出土动物骨骼的破碎方式进行的系统分析,为讨论早更新世古人类与食肉类的互动关系提供了新的线索。

Harvesting water from the air using adsorbents and obtaining fresh water by solar-driven desorption is considered as one of the most effective ways to solve the freshwater crisis in arid and desert *** on a simple and low-cost photothermal hygroscopic hydrogel,a new strategy is proposed to boost solar energy efficiency by coupling solar-driven atmospheric water harvesting technology with thermoelectric power generation technology in this *** hygroscopic hydrogel ink PAM-CaCl_(2)is prepared by in situ polymerization using Acrylamide as monomer,Ammonium persulfate as thermal initiator and CaCl_(2)as hygroscopic *** the day,the photothermal hygroscopic hydrogel absorbs solar energy and evaporates its own internal water to obtain fresh ***,the residual waste heat is utilized to power the thermoelectric panel,which produces electricity based on Seebeck *** night,the hydrogel harvests water molecules in the air to achieve *** hybrid system can achieve a water production rate of 0.33 kg m^(-2)h^(-1)and an additional electrical energy gain of 124 mW m^(-2)at 1 kW m^(-2)solar *** model of the hybrid system is developed to understand the heat flow and thermoelectric generation *** results provide new insights into energy and freshwater replenishment options in arid or desert areas with abundant solar energy.

Breast cancer is globally the most common invasive cancer in women and remains one of the leading causes of cancer-related ***,radiotherapy,chemotherapy,immunotherapy,and endocrine therapy are currently the main treatments for this cancer ***,some breast cancer patients are prone to drug resistance related to chemotherapy or immunotherapy,resulting in limited treatment ***,traditional Chinese medicinal materials(TCMMs)as natural products have become an attractive source of novel *** this review,we summarized the current knowledge on the active components of animal-derived TCMMs,including Ophiocordyceps sinensis-derived cordycepin,the aqueous and ethanolic extracts of ***,norcantharidin(NCTD),Chansu,bee venom,deer antlers,Ostrea gigas,and scorpion venom,with reference to marked anti-breast cancer effects due to regulating cell cycle arrest,proliferation,apoptosis,metastasis,and drug *** future studies,the underlying mechanisms for the antitumor effects of these components need to be further investigated by utilizing multi-omics ***,large-scale clinical trials are necessary to validate the efficacy of bioactive constituents alone or in combination with chemotherapeutic drugs for breast cancer treatment.

目的评估现有分期系统对多发性骨髓瘤(MM)的应用价值，构建双打击MM的Nomogram预测模型并验证。方法回顾性纳入MM患者446例，将其以2∶1的比例随机分为训练组(295例)和验证组(151例)。收集所有患者的基线资料及预后情况并分组进行比较。采用受试者工作特征(ROC)曲线评估MM患者总生存期(OS)和无进展生存期(PFS)的分层预测价值。采用log-rank检验进行Kaplan-Meier生存曲线差异比较。采用单因素和多因素Cox回归分析评估OS的影响因素。构建Nomogram预后模型，采用C指数评估该模型的预测能力。结果 ROC曲线分析结果显示，R-ISS和D-S对MM患者的OS和PFS分层预测效能不高(P0.05)。多因素Cox回归分析结果显示，年龄、Double-hit、LDH、ISS评分均是影响OS的独立预后因素(P<0.05)。构建包含上述4个独立预后因素的Nomogram预后模型，对其能力进行评价，结果显示在训练组与验证组中预测OS与实际OS之间均具有良好的一致性。结论现有分期系统对MM的生存预测仍然具有一定的局限，建立以Double-hit细胞遗传学异常为基础的Nomogram预后模型具有对OS良好的预测价值，或可用于指导临床个体化治疗。

The fundamental relationship between microstructure,constituent,processing and performances of separating materials is really a vital *** preparation methods for separation membranes are complex,time-consuming and easy to be ***,the durability of conventional coatings on membrane is *** combination of bioinspiration from mussel adhesive and fish scales’underwater superoleophobicity,we propose a general route to prepare organic-inorganic hybrid coatings,while no complex apparatus is ***,based on the biomimetic adhesion of polydopamine(PDA),we used it as a binder to adhere TiO_(2)nanoparticles and built rough microstructure on *** this way,we obtained TiO_(2)-PDA treated fabric with special *** TiO_(2)-PDA treated samples owned superamphiphilicity in air,underwater superoleophobicity(underwater oil contact angles(OCAs)>150°),underoil superhydrophobicity(underoil water contact angles(WCAs)>150°),excellent multiresistance;and can separate polar/nonpolar liquid mixture *** also owned superaerophobicity underwater(underwater bubble contact angles(BCAs)>150°).The proposed TiO_(2)-PDA coatings are highly expected to be employed for real situation of water pollution remediation,self-cleaning,oil extraction and harsh chemical engineering issues.

Estimation of evaporation losses based on stable isotopes of stream water in a mountain watershed

Water stable isotopes(δ^(2) H andδ^(18)O)can record surface water evaporation,which is an important hydrological process for understanding watershed structure and function ***,the isotopic estimation of water evaporation losses in the mountain watersheds remains poorly explored,which hinders understanding spatial variations of hydrological processes and their relationships with the temperature and *** we investigatedδ^(2) H,δ^(18)O,and d-excess values of stream water along an altitude gradient of 2130 to 3380 m in Guan’egou mountain watershed at the east edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in *** meanδ^(2) H(-69.6‰±2.6‰),δ^(18)O(-10.7‰±0.3‰),and dexcess values(16.0‰±1.4‰)of stream water indicate the inland moisture as the major source of precipitation in study *** stable isotopes increase linearly with decreasing altitudes,based on which we estimated the fractions of water evaporation losses along with the altitude and their variations in different *** study provides an isotopic evaluation method of water evaporation status in mountain watersheds,the results are useful for further understanding the relationship between hydrological processes and ecosystem function under the changing climate surrounding the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.

Lactobacillus rhamnosus(Rh)and Lactobacillus reuteri(Re)are well-known probiotic species in inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)*** variations between these species’efficacy against colitis,and their model of action in this regard,are intriguing and enable treatment to be individually tailored to *** this study,four strains each of Rh and Re were isolated from fecal samples and their draft genomes were *** anti-colitis activities of both strains involved various aspects of intestinal immune,physical,chemical,and biological barrier ***,the tested strains exhibited considerable interspecies and intraspecies specificity in colitis *** strains significantly outperformed Re strains in terms of short-chain fatty acid ***,Re strains were more effective than Rh strains in inhibiting production of inflammatory factors;promoting production of intestinal mucus,antimicrobial peptides,and tight junction proteins;and supporting the stem cell *** accounts for the anti-colitis outcomes of Re strains being superior to those of Rh *** addition,the effective Rh and Re strains were found to express high concentrations of specific carbohydrate metabolism-and prophage-related genes,*** together,the results of this study could assist researchers in developing effective therapies for IBD.

This study assessed the influence of exogenous ME in the mitigation of cold damage in pepper seedlings. Melatonin(ME) is a dynamic molecule that helps plants cope with stress in several ways. Cold stress(CS) is one of the most important environmental factors that restrict plant growth and yield. Pepper(Capsicum annuum L.) is a valuable commercial crop, highly sensitive to CS. Thus, identifying an efficient strategy to mitigate cold damage is critical for long-term pepper production. For this purpose, the roots of pepper seedlings were pretreated with ME(5 μmol · L^(-1)) and exposed to CS for 7 d. The results indicated that CS suppressed pepper growth, hampered photosynthetic capacity, and damaged root architecture in pepper plants. In contrast, the production of reactive oxygen species(ROS), malondialdehyde(MDA), electrolyte leakage(EL), proline, and soluble sugars were enhanced in plants under CS. ME(5 μmol · L^(-1)) pretreatment reduced the negative effects of CS by recovering plant growth, root traits, gas exchange elements, and pigment molecules compared to CS control treatment. Furthermore, ME application efficiently reduced oxidative stress markers [hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2)), superoxide ion(O_(2)^(·-)), EL, and MDA] while increasing proline and soluble sugar content in pepper leaves. ME application combined with CS further increased antioxidant enzymes and related gene expression. Collectively, our results confirmed the mitigating potential of ME supplementation for CS by maintaining pepper seedling growth,improving the photosynthesis apparatus, regulating pigments, and osmolyte content.
