旋转压缩机噪声共有3类:机械噪声、气动噪声和电磁噪声,其中气动噪声对压缩机噪声贡献较大,而气动噪声主要产生于压缩机的排气过程,目前的工程中在压缩机排气口设置抗性消声器是降低气动噪声的常用手段,因此如何设计一个具有良好降噪效果的消声器有着重要的实际意义。行业内普遍采用传递损失曲线对抗性消声器的降噪效果进行衡量,该方法无法考虑消声器内部流体的脉动噪声。对两种不同结构的消声器,首先使用行业普遍采用的传递损失曲线进行降噪效果评估,然后运用CFD商业软件仿真消声器内部的压力脉动进行脉动噪声评估,最后在某型号压缩机上对两种结构消声器进行装机验证。仿真和试验结果表明,消声器内的流体脉动噪声不可忽略,传递损失曲线不能衡量脉动噪声,应用CFD软件仿真压力脉动进而评估脉动噪声具有一定的可行性。研究成果对旋转压缩机内置消声器的设计优化提供了一定的参考价值。

The in-plane compressive characteristics of the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene(UHMWPE)fibre(Dyneema█)reinforced composites,both in 0/90°and±45°fibre orientations with respect to the loading direction,have been *** composite made from unidirectional high modulus fibres(volume fraction 83%)and low strength polyurethane matrix(volume fraction 17%)is layered in an orthogonally alternating *** different failure mechanisms for the composites with 0/90°and±45°fibre orientations have been detected with the methods of experimental measurement,SEM observation and theoretical *** composites specimens of 0/90°fibre orientation failed with macro-buckling of the high-modulus UHMWEP fibre layers with the matrix damage,whereas the specimens of±45°fibre orientation failed with the shearing of the soft ***,the composite specimens in 0/90°fibre orientation had higher stiffness as well as compressive strength than those in±45°fibre *** failure criteria of the composites under in-plane compression was employed to characterize the failure *** with the traditional thermoset matrix,the soft thermoplastic matrix leads to lower strength and higher failure strain of fibre reinforced composites under in-plane *** addition,the composite specimens cut by waterjet machine exhibited higher stress levels than those cut by bandsaw that introduced more initial imperfections with the temperature rising and tensile *** comparison between the methodologies for cutting the tough composites can provide a valuable suggestion to obtain required composite structures without reducing the mechanical properties.

The retention mechanism of monocarboxylic acids on a cation-exchange resin column was investigated. It was assumed that both Donnan membrane equilibrium and adsorption equilibrium were involved in the chromatographic process. On the basis of the proposed mechanism, an equation was derived for correlating distribution coefficient, Kd, dissociation constant, Aa, and adsorption equilibrium constant, K, of the analyzed acid. By this approach, retention data for some aliphatic acids under different operating conditions were predicted. Results are reasonably in agreement with experiment.

Biomineralization through microbial process has attracted great attention in the field of geotechnical engineering due to its ability to bind granular materials,clog pores,and seal *** minerals formed by biomineralization are generally the same as that by mineralization,their mechanical behaviors show a significant *** study aims to figure out the differences between biomineralization and mineralization processes by visualizing and tracking the formation of minerals using *** biomineralization and mineralization processes occurred in the Y-shaped sandcontaining microchip that mimics the underground sand *** from different areas in the reaction microchannel of microchips were captured to directly compare the distribution of *** size and numbers from different reaction times were measured to quantify the differences between biomineralization and mineralization processes in terms of crystal *** showed that the crystals were precipitated in a faster and more uncontrollable manner in the mineralization process than that in the biomineralization process,given that those two processes presented similar precipitation *** addition,a more heterogeneous distribution of crystals was observed during the biomineralization *** precipitation behaviors were further explained by the classical nucleation crystal growth *** present microfluidic tests could advance the understanding of biomineralization and provide new insight into the optimization of biocementation technology.

The Weining Beishan area of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region is located at on the western edge of the Helanshan tectonic belt,which is a tectonic joint among Alxa Block,Ordos Block,and North Qilian orogenic ***,the tectonic evolution of this area remains unclear due to the lack of magmatic *** paper conducted researches on geochronology,geochemistry,and Sr-Nd-Hf isotopes of the diorite porphyrites exposed in the Weining Beishan *** zircon U-Pb dating yields two ages of 145.0±1.1 and 146.2±1.5 Ma,and the whole-rock geochemical data indicate that the diorite porphyrites are metaluminous to weakly peraluminous and high-K calc-alkaline *** characteristics of highly initial^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr ratios(0.70816 to 0.71047),negativeε_(Nd)(t)(−8.9 to−8.4),and negativeε_(Hf)(t)(−13.8 to−21.2)indicate that the diorite porphyrites originated from partial melting of the middle-lower ancient crust related to the North China *** with the regional geology,we suggested that partial melting was triggered by a tectonic activity of deep faults cutting through the crust under the regional stress transformation from compressing to extension during the Late Jurassic–Early Cretaceous,which is probably related to the westward subduction of the Paleo-Pacific Plate.

针对某航空发动机杯形锁圈发生碎裂的故障情况,进行检查和经验分析,列出故障树,然后通过扫描电镜对杯形锁圈碎片进行了材料分析和断口性质分析。结果表明,断裂性质为疲劳断裂,首断位置位于锁窝处。为了解锁窝处是否存在原始缺陷,对冲锁后的残余应力进行了仿真,结果表明锁窝附近部分区域残余应力大。根据设计复查、故障树排查、断口和仿真分析结果,找到故障原因为冲锁方式不当,并给出了解决措施。

Multi-junction cascaded vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser with a high power conversion efficiency of 74%

High electro-optical conversion efficiency is one of the most distinctive features of semiconductor lasers as compared to other types of *** further increase remains a significant *** enhancing the efficiency of edgeemitting lasers(EEL),which represent the highest efficiency among semiconductor lasers at present,is *** efficiency of vertical cavity surface emitting lasers(VCSELs)has always been relatively low compared to *** paper,combining modeling with experiments,demonstrates the potential of multi-junction cascaded VCSELs to achieve high efficiency beyond that of EELs,our simulations show,that a 20-junction VCSEL can achieve an efficiency of more than 88%at room *** fabricated VCSEL devices with different numbers of junctions and compared their energy efficiency.15-junction VCSELs achieved a maximum efficiency of 74%at room temperature under nanosecond driving current,the corresponding differential quantum efficiency exceeds 1100%,being the largest electro-optical conversion efficiency and differential quantum efficiency reported until now for VCSELs.

Significance of VEGF and NF-κB Expression in Thyroid Carcinoma

OBJECTIVE To investigate the significance of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and nuclear factor-kappaB (NF-κB) expression in thyroid carcinoma. METHODS The expression of NF-κB and VEGF was determined by im- munohistochemistry in formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded specimens obtained from 10 normal thyroid tissues (NT), 12 cases of thyroid adeno- ma (TA) and 68 cases of thyroid carcinoma (TC).Differences in expres- sion between NT, TA and TC were statistically analyzed. In addition, in cases of TC, the relationship of NF-κB and VEGF expression with various clinicopathological factors, including histological typing, clinical staging and lymph node metastasis, as well as the correlation between N F - κ B and VEGF expression was examined. RESULTS In contrast to the negative immunoreactivity for VEGF in NT, there was a significantly higher positive incidence (PI) in TA (41.7%, P= 0.040) and TC (75.0%, P<0.001), and a significant difference between TA and TC (P=0.036). Immunoreactivity for NF-κB in NT was negative and significantly higher in TC (63.2%, P<0.001),but not in TA (16.7%, P= 0.481). However the PI difference between TA and TC (P=0.003) was significant. Between the histological types of TC, a significantly higher PI was found in undifferentiated thyroid carcinoma (UTC),namely,100% for VEGF and 90.0% for NF-κB. We also found significant positive relation- ships of VEGF and N F - κ B expression with the clinical stage and lymph node metastasis. Furthermore, a significant positive correlation between VEGF and NF-κB expression in TC was observed. CONCLUSION Our data showed that the expression of VEGF and NF- ΚB/P65 was greater in TC and UTC, and documented their significant positive correlations with the clinical stage and lymph node metastasis in TC. In addition there was a significant positive relationship between their expression, suggesting that they have important roles in TC and that they may be potential targets for gene therapy in TC patients.
