PAPS: Progressive Attention-Based Pan-sharpening

Pan-sharpening aims to seek high-resolution multispectral(HRMS) images from paired multispectral images of low resolution(LRMS) and panchromatic(PAN) images, the key to which is how to maximally integrate spatial and spectral information from PAN and LRMS images. Following the principle of gradual advance, this paper designs a novel network that contains two main logical functions, i.e., detail enhancement and progressive fusion, to solve the problem. More specifically, the detail enhancement module attempts to produce enhanced MS results with the same spatial sizes as corresponding PAN images, which are of higher quality than directly up-sampling LRMS *** a better MS base(enhanced MS) and its PAN, we progressively extract information from the PAN and enhanced MS images, expecting to capture pivotal and complementary information of the two modalities for the purpose of constructing the desired HRMS. Extensive experiments together with ablation studies on widely-used datasets are provided to verify the efficacy of our design, and demonstrate its superiority over other state-of-the-art methods both quantitatively and qualitatively. Evolutionary computation is a rapidly evolving field and the related algorithms have been successfully used to solve various real-world optimization *** past decade has also witnessed their fast progress to solve a class of challenging optimization problems called high-dimensional expensive problems(HEPs).The evaluation of their objective fitness requires expensive resource due to their use of time-consuming physical experiments or computer ***,it is hard to traverse the huge search space within reasonable resource as problem dimension *** evolutionary algorithms(EAs)tend to fail to solve HEPs competently because they need to conduct many such expensive evaluations before achieving satisfactory *** reduce such evaluations,many novel surrogate-assisted algorithms emerge to cope with HEPs in recent *** there lacks a thorough review of the state of the art in this specific and important *** paper provides a comprehensive survey of these evolutionary algorithms for *** start with a brief introduction to the research status and the basic concepts of ***,we present surrogate-assisted evolutionary algorithms for HEPs from four main *** also give comparative results of some representative algorithms and application ***,we indicate open challenges and several promising directions to advance the progress in evolutionary optimization algorithms for HEPs.

The stereoselective syntheses of (Z)-methyl 3-perfluoroalkyl-4-(3-carboethoxy-2-furanyl)-3-butenoates 5a-c were investigated. The reaction of (3-carboethoxy-2-fu-ranyl)-methyltriphenylphosphonium bromide 1 with methyl 2-perfluoroalkynoates 2a-c in the presence of K2CO3 at room temperature gives two adducts, (E)-methyl 3-per-fluoroalkyl-4-( 3-carboethoxy-2-furanyl )-2-triphenylphosphoranylidene-3-butenoates 3a-c and (E)-methyl 3-perfluoroalkyl-4-(3-carboethoxy-2-furanyl)-4-triphenylphos-phoranylidene-2-butenoates 4a-c. (Z)-Methyl 3-perfluoroalkyl-4-(3-carboethoxy-2-furanyl)-3-butenoates 5a-c can be synthesized stereoselectively with high yields when an aqueous DMF solution of 3c, 4c or a mixture of 3a-b and 4a-b was heated at 140℃ for 8 h.

Most existing treatments for origami-folding simulations have focused on regular-shaped *** article aims to introduce a general strategy for simulating and analyzing the deformation process of irregular shapes by means of computational capabilities *** better simulate origami deformation with folding orders,the concept of plane follow-up is introduced to achieve automated computer simulation of complex folding patterns,thereby avoiding intersection and penetration between *** on the evaluation criteria such as the lowest storage energy with tightening and the fastest pace from tightening to unfolding,the optimal crease distribution patterns for four irregular(‘N’-,‘T’-,‘O’-,and‘P’-shaped)origami configurations are then presented under five *** the dimensions of the origami are fixed,it is discovered that simpler folding patterns lead to faster deformation of the origami *** the folding complexity is fixed,higher strain energy results in more rapid origami expansion.

As a simple,fast,and non-destructive measuring technology,dielectric spectroscopy is usually used to analyze the dielectric properties of agricultural products and food,and then to predict the main components of ***,the large and expensive vector network analyzers(VNA)with expensive analysis software applied in measuring dielectric properties make research limited to the *** acquire dielectric spectra in situ,a model for solving relative complex permittivity was derived,and its performance was ***,a low-cost portable dielectric spectrometer with a mini VNA,a Raspberry Pi,and a coaxial probe as core parts was developed over the frequency range of 100-3000 *** stability and accuracy of the developed spectrometer were tested using milk and *** results indicated that the relative errors of the model were within±5%for dielectric constant(ε′)and loss factor(ε″).The coefficients of variation of measuredε′andε″by the developed spectrometer at 100-3000 MHz were less than 1%and 2%,*** with the dielectric properties obtained by using a commercial dielectric measurement system,the relative errors of measuredε′andε″were within±3.4%and±6.0%,*** study makes fast,non-destructive,and on-site food quality detection using dielectric spectra possible.

Pancreatic cancer stands out as a recognized intractable tumor due to its high malignancy and mortality rates,which are largely attributed to the insensitivity of current clinical chemotherapies or *** chemo and gene therapy that integrates different therapeutic targets,may increase the chemosensitivity of pancreatic cancer and synergistically enhance the antitumor ***,conventional co-delivery of gene and chemo drugs is intensively dependent on complex nanoparticle delivery systems,thus would be limited by unstable drug packaging,nonspecific biodistribution,and biosafety ***,we rationally designed an epidermal growth factor-receptor(EGFR)-targeted and gemcitabine-incorporated oligonucleotide(termed as chemogene)with anti-Bcl-2 sequence,which achieves simple and precise integration of gemcitabine into a gene regulative agent,as well as the EGFR-targeted delivery for pancreatic cancer *** solid-phase synthesis,gemcitabine,as the first-line chemodrug for pancreatic cancer,is introduced to the antisense oligonucleotide to replace all cytosine nucleosides to obtain the gemcitabine-integrated chemogene(Ge-ASO^(Bcl-2)).Thereafter,Ge-ASO^(Bcl-2)is covalently coupled with EGFR nanobody to construct the final targeted chemogene without any exogenous ***,this nanobody-conjugated chemogene exhibits remarkable tumor targeting capability and antitumor effects both in vitro and in vivo,which initiates a first step toward the application of combinatorial chemo and gene therapy for future pancreatic cancer treatment.

We present the first numerical solution that corresponds to a pair of Cho–Maison monopoles and antimonopoles(MAPs) in the SU(2) × U(1) Weinberg–Salam(WS) *** monopoles are finitely separated,while each pole carries a magnetic charge ±4π/*** positive pole is situated in the upper hemisphere,whereas the negative pole is in the lower *** Cho–Maison MAP is investigated for a range of Weinberg angles,0.4675≤ tan θ_(W)≤10,and Higgs self-coupling,0 ≤ β ≤ *** magnetic dipole moment(μm) and pole separation(d_(z)) of the numerical solutions are calculated and *** total energy of the system,however,is infinite due to point singularities at the locations of monopoles.
