Photoelectrochemical devices have been developed to enable the conversion of solar ***,their commercial potential is restricted by the limited stability of the materials *** enhance the stability of photocathode and its solar water splitting performance,a P-Si/TiO_(2)/HfO_(2)/MoS_(2)/Pt composite photocathode is developed in this *** novel TiO_(2)/HfO_(2)/MoS_(2) serial nanostructure provides excellent stability of the photocathode,and optimizes the interface energy barrier to further facilitate the transfer process of photogenerated carriers within the *** best P-Si/TiO_(2)/HfO_(2)/MoS_(2)/Pt photocathode demonstrates an initial potential of 0.5 V(***)and a photocurrent density of-29 mA/cm^(2) at 0 V(***).Through intensity modulated photocurrent spectroscopy and photoluminescence test,it is known that the enhanced water splitting performance is attributed to the optimized carrier transfer *** findings provide a feasible strategy for the stability and photon quantum efficiency enhancement of silicon-based photocathode devices.

In order to advance the commercialization of rechargeable li-air batteries,it is of importance to explore cathode catalyst with efficient catalytic *** metal oxides have poor electrical conductivity,while cobalt phosphide has excellent electrical conductivity and large specific surface ***,its application in organic li-air batteries has been much less studied,and the electrocatalytic activity desires to be further ***,CoP/Co_(2)P heterojunction composite with higher polarity was *** discharge product of high-polarity CoP/Co_(2)P had a new porous box-like morphology,which was easy to be decomposed and exposed more active *** highly polar CoP/Co_(2)P heterostructure composite had homogeneous pores,the synergistic effect existed between CoP and Co_(2)P,and the discharge product was porous box mixed with li_(2)O_(2)and liOH,which made CoP/Co_(2)P achieve high specific capacity of14632 m Ah/g and cycle stably 161 times when used as air electrode cathode *** work furnished a thought for the construction of cathode catalysts with efficient catalytic activity for li-air batteries.

Constructing interfaces in heterostructures is effective for modulating the electronic properties of *** hollow CoMoO_(4)-Co_(3)O_(4) heterostructure(HCMCH)was prepared as a bifunctional electrocatalyst for li-O_(2) *** different components in CoMoO_(4)-Co_(3)O_(4) heterostructure presented the efficient coupling and enhanced the electrocatalytic activity for aprotic oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER),in which it improved the obviously reduced overpotential of 300 mV(compared with the pure Ketjen black(KB)electrode),enhanced reversibility of 80%capacity retention after 6 full cycles and the superior cyclability of more than 200 cycles with an optimized *** battery performance of the HCMCH was not only associated with the unique hollow structure and rich active sites but also with coupling interface constructions synergetic effects attaching to the improving conductivity and optimized the discharge *** results suggested that this HCMCH electrocatalyst was a promising candidate for the li-O_(2) battery and it gave a novel insight for high performance electrocatalyst designing.

Different from oil and gas production,hydrate reservoirs are shallow and unconsolidated,whose mechanical properties deteriorate with hydrate ***,the formations will undergo significant subsidence during depressurization,which will destroy the original force state of the production ***,existing research on the stability of oil and gas production wells assumes the formation to be stable,and lacks consideration of the force exerted on the hydrate production well by formation subsidence caused by hydrate decomposition during *** fill this gap,this paper proposes an analytical method for the dynamic evolution of the stability of hydrate production well considering the effects of hydrate *** on the mechanical model of the production well,the basis for stability analysis has been proposed.A multi-field coupling model of the force state of the production well considering the effect of hydrate decomposition and formation subsidence is established,and a solver is *** analytical approach is verified by its good agreement with the results from the numerical method.A case study found that the decomposition of hydrate will increase the pulling-down force and reduce the supporting force,which is the main reason for the stability *** higher the initial hydrate saturation,the larger the reservoir thickness,and the lower the production pressure,the worse the stability or even *** work can provide a theoretical reference for the stability maintaining of the production well.

P-and SV-wave dispersion and attenuation have been extensively investigated in saturated poroelastic media with aligned ***,there are few existing models that incorporate the multiple wave attenuation mechanisms from the microscopic scale to the macroscopic ***,in this work,we developed a unified model to incorporate the wave attenuation mechanisms at different scales,which includes the microscopic squirt flow between the microcracks and pores,the mesoscopic wave-induced fluid flow between fractures and background(FB-WIFF),and the macroscopic Biot's global flow and elastic scattering(ES)from the *** Tang's modified Biot's theory and the mixed-boundary conditions,we derived the exact frequency-dependent solutions of the scattering problem for a single penny-shaped fracture with oblique incident P-and *** then developed theoretical models for a set of aligned fractures and randomly oriented fractures using the Foldy *** results indicated that microcrack squirt flow considerably influences the dispersion and attenuation of P-and SV-wave *** coupling effects of microcrack squirt flow with the FB-WIFF and ES of fractures cause much higher velocity dispersion and attenuation for P waves than for SV *** oriented fractures substantially reduce the attenuation caused by the FB-WIFF and ES,particularly for the ES attenuation of SV *** a comparison with existing models in the limiting cases and previous experimental measurements,we validated our model.

In the hybrid RANS-LES simulations,proper turbulent fluctuations should be added at the RANS-to-LES interface to drive the numerical solution restoring to a physically resolved turbulence as rapidly as *** turbulence generation methods mostly need to know the distribution of the characteristic length scale of the background RANS model,which is important for the recovery *** approximation of the length scale for the Spalart-Allmaras(S-A)model is not a trivial issue since the model’s one-equation *** a direct analogy,the approximations could be obtained from the definition of the Prandtl’s mixing ***,this paper proposes a new algebraic expression to approximate the intrinsic length scale of the S-A *** underlying transportation mechanism of S-A model are largely exploited in the derivation of this new *** new proposed expression is employed in the generation of synthetic turbulence to perform the hybrid RANS-LES simulation of canonical wall-bounded turbulent *** comparisons demonstrated the feasibility and improved performance of the new length scale on generating synthetic turbulence at the LES inlet.
