Theoretical characterization of the temperature-dependent saturation magnetization of magnetic metallic materials

Based on the force-heat equivalence energy density principle,a theoretical model for magnetic metallic materials is developed,which characterizes the temperature-dependent magnetic anisotropy energy by considering the equivalent relationship between magnetic anisotropy energy and heat energy;then the relationship between the magnetic anisotropy constant and saturation magnetization is ***,we formulate a temperature-dependent model for saturation magnetization,revealing the inherent relationship between temperature and saturation *** model predicts the saturation magnetization for nine different magnetic metallic materials at different temperatures,exhibiting satisfactory agreement with experimental ***,the experimental data used as reference points are at or near room *** to other phenomenological theoretical models,this model is considerably more accessible than the data required at 0 *** index included in our model is set to a constant value,which is equal to 10/3 for materials other than Fe,Co,and *** transition metals(Fe,Co,and Ni in this paper),the index is 6 in the range of 0 K to 0.65T_(cr)(T_(cr) is the critical temperature),and 3 in the range of 0.65T_(cr) to T_(cr),unlike other models where the adjustable parameters vary according to each *** addition,our model provides a new way to design and evaluate magnetic metallic materials with superior magnetic properties over a wide range of temperatures.

Membrane fouling behavior and microbial community succession in a submerged membrane bioreactor treating harbor oily wastewater

A membrane bioreactor （MBR） was established for treating harbor oily wastewater. It showed good removal performance for chemical oxygen demand （COD）, oil content, suspended solids （SS）, and other pollutants. However, serious membrane fouling occurred. It was recognized that the extracellular polymeric substances （EPS） accumulated on the membrane surface, especially the proteins, were of great importance for the transmembrane pressure （TMP） increment and membrane fouling. The MBR was optimized via improving aeration rate and reducing the ratio of Ar/Ad （At and Ad are the cross-sectional areas of the riser and the downcomer of the MBR）. The increasing rate of TMP was slowed, indicating that the optimization strategy could effectively mitigate membrane fouling. Microbial community evolution was monitored and analyzed by polymerase chain reaction-denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis （PCR-DGGE）, cloning, and sequencing of 16S ribosomal ribonucleic acid （rRNA） fragments. Results revealed that low community shift occurred during the whole operational period. Geobacter sp. and Rhodocyclales sp., which have also been identified by other studies in a petroleum refinery wastewater MBR or an infiltration basin receiving highway runoff, dominated in the MBR system throughout. Comamonas sp. was thought to accommodate the lower aeration rate in this study, while Rhodocyclales sp. preferred the higher aeration rate. In addition, during the operational time under high organic loading rate, a few species were present in abundance, and may have been responsible for the good removal performance at this time.

Investigation on full distribution CNC system based on SERCOS bus

A full distribution CNC system based on SERCOS bus is studied in accordance with the limitations of traditional PC-based motion card. The conventional PC-based motion control card is dispersed into several autonomous intelligent servo-control units with the function of servo driver. The autonomous intelligent servocontrol units realize the loop control of position, velocity and current. Interpolation computation is completed in PC and the computational results are transferred to every autonomous intelligent servo-control unit by high speed SERCOS bus. Software or hardware synchronization technology is used to ensure all servomotors are successive and synchronously running. The communication and synchronization technology of SERCOS are also researched and the autonomous intelligent servo-control card is developed byself. Finally, the experiment of circle contour process on a prototype system proves the feasibility.

Effect of Al_(3)Zr particles on hot-compression behavior and processing map for Al-Cu-li based alloys at elevated temperatures

The influence of Al3Zr particles on the hot compression behavior and processing map(PM)of Al-Cu-li based alloys under isothermal plane-strain compression in the temperature range of 400-500℃and at the strain rates of 0.01-10 s^-1 was *** corresponding microstructure was analyzed using optical microscopy(OM),electron back-scattered diffraction(EBSD)and transmission electron microscope(TEM).The results showed that dynamic recovery(DRV)played a greater role than dynamic recrystallization(DRX)in dynamic *** low temperatures,the Al3Zr particles were the significant barriers to inhibit DRV and DRX grain *** the temperature reached 500℃,the Al3Zr particles readily spread along grain boundaries just like a necklace due to the dissolution of Al3Zr particles and rapid diffusion of Zr through grain boundary,resulting in generating the macroscopic cracks and forming an instability domain at 490-500℃,0.01 s^-1 in the PM.

Electrochemical behavior of different shelled microcapsule composite copper coatings

Copper/liquid microcapsule composite coatings with polyvinyl alcohol （PVA）, gelatin or methyl cellulose （MC） as shell materials were prepared by electrodeposition. The influence of shell materials on the corrosion resistance of the composite coatings in 0.1 M H2SO4 was investigated by means of electrochemical techniques, scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, and energy dispersion spectrometry （EDS）. The results show that the participation of microcapsules can enhance the corrosion resistance of the composite coatings compared with the traditional copper layer. Based on the analysis of electrochemical test results, the release ways of microcapsules were deduced. Gelatin and MC as the shell materials of microcapsules are easy to release quickly in the composite coating. On the contrary, the releasing speed of PVA microcapsules is relatively slow due to their characteristics.

CIRCpedia v2: An Updated Database for Comprehensive Circular RNA Annotation and Expression Comparison

Circular RNAs （circRNAs） from back-splicing of exon（s） have been recently identified to be broadly expressed in eukaryotes, in tissue-and species-specific manners. Although functions of most circRNAs remain elusive, some circRNAs are shown to be functional in gene expression regulation and potentially relate to diseases. Due to their stability, circRNAs can also be used as biomarkers for diagnosis. Profiling circRNAs by integrating their expression among different samples thus provides molecular basis for further functional study of circRNAs and their potential application in clinic. Here, we report CIRCpedia v2, an updated database for comprehensive circRNA annotation from over 180 RNA-seq datasets across six different species. This atlas allows users to search, browse, and download circRNAs with expression features in various cell types/tissues, including disease samples. In addition, the updated database incorporates conservation analysis of circRNAs between humans and mice. Finally, the web interface also contains computational tools to compare circRNA expression among samples. CIRCpedia v2 is accessible at http：//***/rnomics/circpedia.

Enhanced electrochemical performance of li_(1.3)Al_(0.3)Ti_(1.7)(PO_(4))_(3) solid electrolyte by anion doping

Nowadays,the majority of the studies on the substitution are focused on cations(such as Y^(3+),Ti^(4+),P^(5+),etc.)in li_(1.3)Al_(0.3)Ti_(1.7)(PO_(4))_(3)(LATP),while there are few studies on the substitution of anion O^(2-).In this work,the modified LATP with a series of liCl(LATPClx,x=0.1,0.2,0.3,0.4)additives is prepared to enhance ionic *** successful introduction of Cl-makes the length of the c axis decrease from 20.822(2)to 20.792(1)Å,and the bulk conductivity of 2.13×10^(-3) S·cm^(-1) is achieved in LATPCl_(0.3).Moreover,the Al/Ti-O1/Cl1 and Al/Ti-O_(2)/Cl_(2) distance decrease,while the li1-O_(2)/Cl_(2) distance *** ions migrate more easily in the nanochannel of *** addition,the liCl additive increases the relative density and the grain boundary conductivity of LATPClx ***,a higher ionic conductivity of 2.12×10^(–4) S·cm^(-1) and a low activation energy of 0.30 eV are obtained in LATPCl_(0.3).Correspondingly,the symmetric cell exhibits a low overpotential of±50 mV for over 200 h in LATPCl_(0.3).The solid-state li|LATPCl_(0.3)|NCM811(NCM811=liNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O_(2))battery exhibits high initial capacity 185.1 mAh·g^(-1) with a capacity retention rate of 95.4%after 100 cycles at 0.5 *** result suggests that liCl additive is an effective strategy to promote electrochemical properties of LATP solid electrolyte and can be considered for reference to other inorganic solid electrolytes systems.

Analysis of Electronic Structures for SmCo5 Compound

The spin-polarized MS-Xα method is employed to study the electronic structure and the magnetic property of the SmCo5 *** to the calculated results, the magnetic moment per Sm is 1.29μB in the SmCo5 compound, which agrees with that of *** analyzed result reveals that some negative exchange couplings occurring at six energy levels induce the distinct decrease of Curie temperature and the magnetic moment per *** valence electron numbers of 2.48, which are derived from the orbital hybridization from s, p, d and f functions between Sm and Co atoms, are transferred to Sm(5d0) ***, the exchange interactions between 3d ～ 5d electrons lead to the magnetic coupling between Sm and Co, which results in the long-range ferromagnetic-order inside the SmCo5 compound.

Highly efficient Knoevenagel condensation reactions catalyzed by a proline-functionalized polyacrylonitrile fiber

A new proline-functionalized fiber catalyst was employed for the first time to catalyze the Knoevenagel condensation reactions between aromatic aldehydes and ethyl cyanoacetate or malononitrile. This fiber catalyst exhibits a high efficiency （0.5-2 tool% of catalyst with yields of 90%-99%） and excellent reusability （up to 20 times） without the need for additional treatments.

Effects of overburden, rock strength and pillar width on the safety of a three-parallel-hole tunnel

During the excavation of three-parallel-hole tunnel, the tunnel might collapse due to over-stress as a result of inadequate rock pillar width. Treating the rock overburden depth, rock strength, and rock pillar width as variables, a series of 3D numerical analysis was carried out to examine the effect of each variable on the safety of the tunnel, in particular the rock pillar. A stress strength ratio (SSR) was used to define whether the safety of the rock pillar was exceeded. A simple design chart for the case of three-parallel-hole tunnel, which took into account the influence of overburden depth, rock pillar width, and rock strength, was also proposed for used in the preliminary design stage.
