Histological origin of pseudomyxoma peritonei in Chinese women:Clinicopathology and

AIM： To investigate the myxoma peritonei （PMP） histological origin of pseudo- n Chinese women. METHODS： The clinical and pathological data were reviewed for 35 women with PMP, and specimens of the peritoneal, appendiceal and ovarian lesions of each patient were examined using the PV-6000 immunohistochemistry method. Antibodies included cytokeratin （CK）7, CK20, mucin （MUC）-1, MUC-2, carbohydrate antigen （CA）-125, estrogen receptor （ER）, and progesterone receptor （PR）. RESULTS： Abundant colloidal mucinous tumors were observed in the peritoneum in all 35 cases. Thirty-one patients had a history of appendectomy, 28 of whom had mucinous lesions. There was one patient with appendicitis, one whose appendix showed no apparent pathological changes, and one with unknown surgical pathology. Ovarian mucinous tumors were found in 24 patients. The tumors were bilateral in 13 patients, on the right-side in nine, and on the left side in two. Twenty patients had combined appendiceal and ovarian lesions; 16 of whom had undergone initial surgery for appendiceal lesions. Four patients had undergone initial surgery for ovarian lesions, and relapse occurred in these patients at 1, 11, 32 and 85 mo after initial surgery. Appendi-ceal mucinous tumors were found in each of these four patients. Thirty-three of the 35 patients showed peritoneal lesions that were positive for CK20 and MUC-2, but negative for CK7, MUC-1, CA125, ER and PR. The expression patterns in the appendix and the ovary were similar to those of the peritoneal lesions. In one of the remaining two cases, CK20, CK7 and MUC-2 were positive, and MUC-1, CA125, ER and PR were negative. The ovaries were not resected. The appendix of one patient was removed at another hospital, and no specimen was evaluated. In the other case, the appendix appeared to be normal during surgery, and was not resected. Because of its good stability and conductivity,titanium nitride(TiN)is considered to be a very promising alternative support for Pt catalyst;however,the preparation of TiN supports is still *** this work,atomic layer deposition was facilely adopted to fabricate TiN nanoparticles onto carbon nanotubes(CNTs),and then the prepared TiN/CNTs hybrid was used as a support of Pt *** resulting TiN/CNTs-supported Pt nanoparticles(Pt@TiN/CNTs)nanocomposite showed higher catalytic activity and long-term stability toward the oxygen reduction reaction than the commercial Pt/C,which should be due to the high conductivity and high stability of TiN support,as well as the favorable Pt-TiN strong interaction.

Hierarchical multihead self-attention for time-series-based fault diagnosis

Fault diagnosis is important for maintaining the safety and effectiveness of chemical *** the multivariate,nonlinear,and dynamic characteristic of chemical process,many time-series-based data-driven fault diagnosis methods have been developed in recent ***,the existing methods have the problem of long-term dependency and are difficult to train due to the sequential way of *** overcome these problems,a novel fault diagnosis method based on time-series and the hierarchical multihead self-attention(HMSAN)is proposed for chemical ***,a sliding window strategy is adopted to construct the normalized time-series ***,the HMSAN is developed to extract the time-relevant features from the time-series process *** improves the basic self-attention model in both width and *** the multihead structure,the HMSAN can pay attention to different aspects of the complicated chemical process and obtain the global dynamic ***,the multiple heads in parallel lead to redundant information,which cannot improve the diagnosis *** the hierarchical structure,the redundant information is reduced and the deep local time-related features are further ***,a novel many-to-one training strategy is introduced for HMSAN to simplify the training procedure and capture the long-term ***,the effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated by two chemical *** experimental results show that the proposed method achieves a great performance on time-series industrial data and outperforms the state-of-the-art approaches.

NeurstrucEnergy:A bi-directional GNN model for energy prediction of neural networks in IoT

Study on thermal decomposition kinetics of azobenzene-4,4′-dicarboxylic acid by using compensation parameter method and nonlinear fitting evaluation

Recently,azobenzene-4,4'-dicarboxylic acid(ADCA)has been produced gradually for use as an organic synthesis or pharmaceutical intermediate due to its eminent *** large quantities put into application in the future,the thermal stability of this substance during storage,transportation,and use will become quite ***,in this work,the thermal decomposition behavior,thermal decomposition kinetics,and thermal hazard of ADCA were *** were conducted by using a SENSYS evo DSC device.A combination of differential iso-conversion method,compensation parameter method,and nonlinear fitting evaluation were also used to analyze thermal kinetics and mechanism of ADCA *** results show that when conversion rate α increases,the activation energies of ADCA's first and main decomposition peaks *** amount of heat released during decomposition varies between 182.46 and 231.16 J·g^(-1).The proposed kinetic equation is based on the Avrami-Erofeev model,which is consistent with the decomposition *** the Frank-Kamenetskii model,a calculated self-accelerating decomposition temperature of 287.0℃is obtained.

Dammarane-type triterpenoids from Gynostemma longipes and their protective activities on hypoxia-induced injury in PC12 cells

Sixteen new dammarane-type triterpenoid saponins(1-16)featuring diverse structural variations in the side chain at C-17,along with twenty-one known analogues(17-37),have been isolated from the rhizomes of Gynostemma longipes ***,a plant renowned for its medicinal and edible *** structural elucidation of these compounds was accomplished through comprehensive analyses of 1D and 2D NMR and HRMS spectroscopic data,supplemented by comparison with previously reported *** assays on the isolates for their protective effects against hypoxia-induced damage in pheochromocytoma cells(PC12 cells)revealed that nine saponins exhibited significant anti-hypoxic *** investigation into the anti-hypoxia mechanisms of the representative saponins demonstrated that compounds 22 and 36 markedly reduced the levels of hypoxia-induced ***,these compounds were found to decrease the release of lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)and malondialdehyde(MDA),while increasing the activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD),thereby indicating that the saponins could mitigate hypoxia-induced injuries by ameliorating apoptosis and oxidative *** findings offer substantial evidence for the future utilization and development of ***,identifying dammarane-type triterpenoid saponins as its active anti-hypoxic constituents.
