Deltamethrin(DEl),a commonly used pyrethroid pesticide,results in higher reactive oxygen species(ROS)levels in aquatic animals,which consequently unbalance the redox ***(PHl)is a flavonoid and a natural product promising to prevent or reduce pesticide-induced oxidative *** is a micro-crustacean widely used in marine hatcheries and an experimental aquatic organism for environmental toxicology *** research aimed to evaluate the toxicity of DEl on Artemia and the antioxidative effect of PHl against the *** show that 0.08-mg/ml PHl exerted its antioxidative effects on hatching percentage of the cysts in 24-h incubation and on body length and survival rate of Artemia in 12-d *** 12-d culture,12-,24-,and 36-h DEl exposure showed significant drops in SOD,CAT,and GSH-Px enzyme activities,and significant increases in ROS and malondialdehyde(MDA)levels in Artemia(Pl PHl application improved the enzyme activities and decreased the ROS and MDA levels(Pl PHl significantly increased mRNA expression levels of Cu/Zn SOD,CAT,GST,HO-1,NQO1,and Nrf2,and decreased mRNA expression level of Keap1 in the DEl-exposed Artemia(Pl is toxic to Artemia,while PHl alleviates DEl-induced oxidative damage by possibly regulating the Nrf2signaling *** study provided a theoretical basis for PHl to reduce pesticide-induced toxicity in aquatic animals.

High-cost pre-alloyed powder is the bottleneck problem that limits the widespread application of additivemanufactured shape memory *** this work,the lowcost ternary NiTiFe shape memory alloy is fabricated by laser powder bed fusion(lPBF)technique via mechanically mixed pre-alloy NiTi powder and varying contents pure Fe powder(1,2,3 wt%).All NiTiFe alloys show a relative density of up to 99.8%by optimizing the lPBF processing *** to the heterogeneous nucleation effect of micron-sized Fe particles,both grain refinement and texture weakening are generated in the NiTiFe alloys,accompanied by the reduction of dislocation *** the room-temperature mechanical properties,the NiTi-3Fe alloy shows the highest microhardness of HV370,but the fracture strength and elongation reduce to1701 MPa and 23%*** evolution of mechanical properties is attributed to the high internal defects,low dislocation density and the incoherent ***,the NiTi-3Fe alloy shows the quasi-linear superelasticity behavior;the superelastic recoverable strain of NiTi-1Fe and NiTi-2Fe decreased with the increase in Fe *** study provided a new-fangled insight for the development of multi-component NiTi-based shape memory alloys by additive manufacturing.

The analysis of interwell connectivity plays an important role in the formulation of oilfield development plans and the description of residual oil distribution. In fact, sandstone reservoirs in China's onshore oilfields generally have the characteristics of thin and many layers, so multi-layer joint production is usually adopted. It remains a challenge to ensure the accuracy of splitting and dynamic connectivity in each layer of the injection-production wells with limited field data. The three-dimensional well pattern of multi-layer reservoir and the relationship between injection-production wells can be equivalent to a directional heterogeneous graph. In this paper, an improved graph neural network is proposed to construct an interacting process mimics the real interwell flow regularity. In detail, this method is used to split injection and production rates by combining permeability, porosity and effective thickness, and to invert the dynamic connectivity in each layer of the injection-production wells by attention *** on the material balance and physical information, the overall connectivity from the injection wells,through the water injection layers to the production layers and the output of final production wells is established. Meanwhile, the change of well pattern caused by perforation, plugging and switching of wells at different times is achieved by updated graph structure in spatial and temporal ways. The effectiveness of the method is verified by a combination of reservoir numerical simulation examples and field example. The method corresponds to the actual situation of the reservoir, has wide adaptability and low cost, has good practical value, and provides a reference for adjusting the injection-production relationship of the reservoir and the development of the remaining oil.

Both M_(W) 7.8 and M_(W) 7.5 earthquakes occurred in southeastern Türkiye on February 6,2023,resulting in numerous buildings collapsing and serious *** the distribution of coseismic surface ruptures and secondary disasters surrounding the epicentral area is important for post-earthquake emergency and disaster ***-resolution Maxar and GF-2 satellite data were used after the events to extract the location of the rupture surrounding the first epicentral *** results show that the length of the interpreted surface rupture zone(part of)is approximately 75 km,with a coseismic sinistral dislocation of 2-3 m near the epicenter;however,this reduced to zero at the tip of the southwest section of the East Anatolia Fault ***,dense soil liquefaction pits were triggered along the rupture *** events are in the western region of the Eurasian Seismic Belt and result from the subduction and collision of the Arabian and African Plates toward the Eurasian *** western region of the Chinese mainland and its adjacent areas are in the eastern section of the Eurasian Seismic Belt,where seismic activity is controlled by the collision of the Indian and Eurasian *** China and Türkiye have independent tectonic histories.

We derive an effective Hamiltonian for a spin-1/2 particle confined within a curved thin layer with non-uniform thickness using the confining potential *** analysis reveals the presence of a pseudo-magnetic field and effective spin–orbit interaction(SOI)arising from the curvature,as well as an effective scalar potential resulting from variations in ***,we demonstrate that the physical effect of additional SOI from thickness fluctuations vanishes in low-dimensional systems,thus guaranteeing the robustness of spin interference measurements to thickness ***,we establish the applicability of the effective Hamiltonian in both symmetric and asymmetric confinement scenarios,which is crucial for its utilization in one-side etching systems.

Despite much research in the field of island biogeography,mechanisms regulating insular diversity remain ***,we aim to explore mechanisms underlying plant species-area relationships in two tropical archipelagoes in the South China *** found positive plant species-area relationships for both coral and continental ***,our results showed that different mechanisms contributed to similar plant species-area relationships between the two *** coral islands,soil nutrients and spatial distance among communities played major roles in shaping plant community structure and species *** contrast,the direct effect of island area,and to a lesser extent,soil nutrients determined plant species richness on continental ***,increasing soil nutrients availability(N,P,K)had opposite effects on plant diversity between the two *** summary,the habitat quality effect and dispersal limitation are important for regulating plant diversity on coral islands,whereas the passive sampling effect,and to a lesser extent,the habitat quality effect are important for regulating plant diversity on continental *** generally,our findings indicate that island plant species-area relationships are outcomes of the interplay of both niche and neutral processes,but the driving mechanisms behind these relationships depends on the type of islands.

Eight novel clerodane diterpenoids(1-8)were isolated from the twigs of Casearia *** structures were elucidated through comprehensive nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR),high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry(HRESI-MS),and electronic circular dichroism(ECD)*** addition to structural determination,surface plasmon resonance(SPR)assays were conducted to investigate molecular interactions,revealing that compound 8 exhibited high affinity for vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2(VEGFR2),a key regulator of tumor *** in vivo experiments demonstrated that compound 8 effectively inhibited angiogenesis and displayed significant antitumor activity by suppressing tumor proliferation and metastasis in zebrafish xenograft *** findings suggest that compound 8 holds promise as an anticancer lead compound targeting VEGFR-2 to obstruct tumor angiogenesis.

Flexural toppling occurs when a series of layered rock masses bend towards their free *** is important to evaluate the maximum bending degree and the requirement of supports of flexural toppling rock mass to prevent rock mass cracking and even failure leading to a *** on the rock tensile strain-softening model,this study proposes a method for calculating the maximum curvature(C_(ppmax))of flexural toppling rock *** applying this method to calculate Cppmax of 9 types of rock masses with different hardness and rock layer thickness,some conclusions are drawn:(1)the internal key factors affecting C_(ppmax)are E^(⋆)(E^(⋆)=E_(ss)/E_(0),where E_(0)and E_(ss)are the mean deformation moduli of the rock before and after reaching its peak tensile strength,respectively),the strainεt corresponding to the tensile strength of rock,and the thickness(h)of rock layers;(2)hard rock layers are more likely to develop into block toppling than soft rock layers;and(3)thin rock layers are more likely to remain in flexural toppling state than thick rock *** addition,it is found that C_(ppmax)for flexural toppling rock masses composed of bedded rocks such as gneiss is related to the tensile direction.

In recent years,countries worldwide have actively advocated electric vehicles for environmental ***-ever,restrictions on the driving range and charging have hampered the promotion of electric *** study proposes a portable,auxiliary photovoltaic power system based on a foldable scissors mechanism for electric *** system includes a photovoltaic power generation module and an electricity transfer *** photovoltaic power generation module built based on a foldable scissors mechanism is five times smaller than in its unfolded state,improving its portability in its folded *** electricity transfer module transfers electricity into the cabin via wireless power transfer units and stores electricity in *** simulation exper-iments were conducted to evaluate the system’s performance:maximum output power of 1.736 W is measured when the load is 5Ω,while maximum wireless power transfer efficiency is up to 57.7% with 10Ω *** elec-tric vehicle in Chengdu city was simulated for a case *** results show that the annual output of a single photovoltaic power system can drive the MINIEV for 423.625 km,indicating that the proposed system would be able to supply power for electric vehicles as an auxiliary power supply system.
