The spin-polarized MS-Xα method is employed to study the electronic structure and the magnetic property of the SmCo5 *** to the calculated results, the magnetic moment per Sm is 1.29μB in the SmCo5 compound, which agrees with that of *** analyzed result reveals that some negative exchange couplings occurring at six energy levels induce the distinct decrease of Curie temperature and the magnetic moment per *** valence electron numbers of 2.48, which are derived from the orbital hybridization from s, p, d and f functions between Sm and Co atoms, are transferred to Sm(5d0) ***, the exchange interactions between 3d ～ 5d electrons lead to the magnetic coupling between Sm and Co, which results in the long-range ferromagnetic-order inside the SmCo5 compound.

Improving grain quality, which is composed primarily of the appearance of the grain and its cooking and milling attributes, is a major objective of many rice-producing areas in China. In the present study, we conducted a marker-based genetic analysis of the appearance and milling quality of rice （Oryza sativa L.） grains using a doubled-haploid population derived from a cross between the indica inbred Zhenshan 97 strain and the japonica inbred Wuyujing 2 strain. Quantitative trait locus （QTL） analysis using a mixed linear model approach revealed that the traits investigated were affected by one to seven QTLs that individually explained 4.0%-30.7% of the phenotypic variation. Cumulatively, the QTL for each trait explained from 12.9% to 61.4% of the phenotypic variation. Some QTLs tended to have a pleiotropic or location-linked association as a cause of the observed phenotypic correlations between different traits. Improvement of the characteristics of grain appearance and grain weight, as well as an improvement in the milling quality of rice grains, would be expected by a recombination of different QTLs using marker-assisted selection.

Ion mobility spectrometry （IMS） is a very fast, highly sensitive, and inexpensive technique, it permits efficient monitoring of volatile organic compounds like alcohols. In this article, positive ion mobility spectra for six alcohol organic compounds have been systematically studied for the first time using a high-resolution IMS apparatus equipped with a discharge ionization source. Utilizing protonated water cluster ions （H2O）nH^＋ as the reactant ions and clean air as the drift gas, alcohol organic compounds, ethanol, 1- propanol, 2-propanol, 1-butanol, 1-pentanol and 2-octanol, all exhibit product ion characteristic peaks in their respective ion mobility spectrometry, that is a result of proton transfer reactions between the alcohols and reaction ions （H2O）nH^＋. The mixture of these alcohols, including two isomers, has been detected, and the results showed that they could be distinguished effectively in the ion mobility spectrum. The reduced mobility values have been determined, which are in very well agreement with the traditional ^63Ni-IMS experimental values. The exponential dilution method was used to calibrate the alcohol concentrations, and a detection limit available for the alcohols is in order of magnitude of a few ng/L.

Background Although etomidate is associated with very few cardiovascular side-effects and minimal histamine release it has a less inhibitory effect on the pharyngolaryngeal reflex. Hence, blunting the responses to endotracheal intubation is more dependent of opioids for etomidate-based anesthetic induction. This prospective, randomized, double-blinded study was designed to investigate the effects of low dose remifentanil, fentanyl or sufentanil on etomidate induction with respect to hemodynamics, conscious level changes and drug consumption. Methods Ninety unpremedicated and normotensive patients with American Society of Anesthesiologists （ASA） physical status I or II undergoing elective major abdominal surgery were randomly assigned in a double blinded fashion to each of the three groups： groups F, R and S. A bolus dose of fentanyl 1μg/kg, sufentanil 0.1 μg/kg or remifentanil 1 1 μg/kg was given over 60 seconds in groups F, S and R, respectively. In each instance this loading dose was followed by a continuous infusion （0.1, 0.01 or 0.1 μg·kg^-1·min^-1 of fentanyl, sufentanil or remifentanil, respectively）. After 5 minutes from start of opioid infusion, etomidate was titrated at a rate of 20 mg/min to a decrease in bispectral index （BIS） to 50. The time from administration of etomidate to loss of eyelash reflex or to a decrease in BIS to 50 was recorded. The blood pressure and heart rate were also recorded at different five time points. The average maximum percent changes of systolic blood pressure （Imaximal or minimal measuring value-baselinel/baselinex100%） were calculated. Results The time and the dosage of etomidate necessary to loss consciousness were greater in group F （（70.0±15.6） seconds; （0.35±0.05） mg/kg） than in groups S （（52.3±15.9） seconds; （0.26±0.06） mg/kg） and R （（56.2±20.2） seconds; （0.27±0.07） mg/kg）（P 〈0.01）. BACKGROUND Gastric stromal tumor is a digestive tract mesenchymal tumor with malignant potential, and endoscopic techniques have been widely used in the treatment of gastric stromal tumors, but there is still controversy over their use for large gastric stromal tumors(≥ 3 cm).AIM To evaluate the clinical long-term efficacy and safety of endoscopic resection for large(≥ 3 cm) gastric stromal *** All patients who underwent endoscopic resection or surgery at our hospital from 2012 to 2017 for pathologically confirmed gastric stromal tumor with a maximum diameter of ≥ 3 cm were collected. The clinical data, histopathologic characteristics of the tumors, and long-term outcomes were *** A total of 261 patients were included, including 37 patients in the endoscopy group and 224 patients in the surgical group. In the endoscopy group, the maximum tumor diameter was 3-8 cm; the male: Female ratio was 21/16; 34 cases had low-risk tumors, 3 had intermediate-risk, and 0 had high-risk; the mean follow-up time was 30.29 ± 19.67 mo, no patient was lost to follow-up, and no patient received chemotherapy after operation; two patients with recurrence had low-risk stromal tumors, and neither had complete resection under endoscopy. In the surgical group, the maximum tumor diameter was 3-22 cm; the male: Female ratio was 121/103; 103 cases had low-risk tumors, 75 had intermediate-risk, and 46 had high-risk; the average follow-up time was 38.83 ± 21.50 mo, 53 patients were lost to follow-up, and 8 patients had recurrence after operation(6 cases had high-risk tumors, 1 had intermediate-risk, and 1 had low-risk). The average tumor volume of the endoscopy group was 26.67 ± 26.22 cm^3(3.75-120), all of which were less than 125 cm^3. The average volume of the surgical group was 273.03 ± 609.74 cm^3(7-4114). Among all patients with a tumor volume < 125 cm^3,7 with high-risk stromal tumors in the surgical group(37.625 cm^3 to 115.2 cm^3)accounted for 3.8%(7/183); of those

To achieve the enormous potential of gene-editing technology in clinical therapies,one needs to evaluate both the on-target efficiency and unintended editing consequences ***,there is a lack of a pipelined,large-scale,and economical workflow for detecting genome editing outcomes,in particular insertion or deletion of a large ***,we describe an approach for efficient and accurate detection of multiple genetic changes after CRISPR/Cas9 editing by pooled nanopore sequencing of barcoded long-range PCR *** the high error rates of Oxford nanopore sequencing,we developed a novel pipeline to capture the barcoded sequences by grepping reads of nanopore amplicon sequencing(GREPore-seq).GREPore-seq can assess nonhomologous end-joining(NHEJ)-mediated double-stranded oligodeoxynucleotide(dsODN)insertions with comparable accuracy to Illumina next-generation sequencing(NGS).GREPore-seq also reveals a full spectrum of homology-directed repair(HDR)-mediated large gene knock-in,correlating well with the fluorescence-activated cell sorting(FACS)analysis *** note,we discovered low-level fragmented and full-length plasmid backbone insertion at the CRISPR cutting ***,we have established a practical workflow to evaluate various genetic changes,including quantifying insertions of short dsODNs,knock-ins of long pieces,plasmid insertions,and large fragment deletions after CRISPR/Cas9-mediated ***-seq is freely available at GitHub(https://***/lisiang/GREPore-seq)and the National Genomics Data Center(NGDC)BioCode(https://***/biocode/tools/BT007293).
