Regulating single-atom Mn sites by precisely axial pyridinic-nitrogen coordination to stabilize the oxygen reduction

Designing single-atom catalysts for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)are fashionable but challenging to boost the zinc-air battery *** enhanced ORR activity by manganese(Mn)singleatom catalysts can be achieved by accurately regulating the coordination number of isolated Mn *** calculations indicate that the single Mn-N5sites possess lower free energy barrier and higher oxygen adsorption performance than single Mn-N4sites to accelerate the ORR *** to it,here we synthesize an atomically dispersed Mn-N5catalyst by precisely axial coordination of pyridinic-N doped into two-dimensional(2D)porous nanocarbon sheets(~3.56 nm thickness),which reveals outstanding catalytic activity and ultrahigh stability for the ORR in zinc-air battery owing to the inhomogeneous charge distribution of Mn-N5sites compared to the conventional single-site Mn-N4catalyst and Pt/*** work gives a new strategy for in situ regulating the electronic structure of metal single-atoms and further promoting the overall ORR performance in energy systems.

We restrict our attention to the discrete two-dimensional monatomic β-FPU lattice. We look for two- dimensional breather lattice solutions and two-dimensional compact-like discrete breathers by using trying method and analyze their stability by using Aubry＇s linearly stable theory. We obtain the conditions of existence and stability of two-dimensional breather lattice solutions and two-dimensional compact-like discrete breathers in the discrete two- dimensional monatomic β-FPU lattice.

目的：探讨小儿生殖细胞肿瘤（GCT）的临床特征、病理类型、诊断、治疗方法。方法：对20例GCT患儿的临床资料进行回顾性分析。患儿年龄5月至9岁,其中卵巢肿瘤14例,睾丸肿瘤6例。结果：20例均行手术治疗,术后恢复良好,随访1~5年,全部存活。其中1例术后脾脏及肝脏先后出现转移灶,已再次手术。10例恶性卵巢肿瘤术后行PEB方案化疗。所有病例均经术后病理学检查确诊。结论：小儿GCT其临床表现无特异性,多以腹痛、腹胀、下腹部、盆腔及睾丸包块为首发症状。其预后与肿瘤的分期,组织级别有关。分期越早、级别越低,患者预后越好。早期手术切除是主要治疗方法,恶性肿瘤需要化疗或放疗,定期随访十分重要。

Piezoelectric Energy Analysis on Diverse Buoy Coupling with Hydrodynamic Parameters

This paper mainly describes the influence factors of the captured energy power by huge wave energy harvesters, in which the vertical motion of buoy can transform ocean’s potential energy into piezoelectric energy power by undulating waves. Firstly, related environmental coefficients are analyzed by means of the incident wave theory. Besides, the geometric structural parameters are also analyzed and compared under optimal environmental coefficients with semi-analytical solutions. Thirdly, the numerical results also show the impact trend of hydrodynamic parameters and geometric volume on motion, voltage and power with qualitative agreement. The numerical simulation confirms that the improved structure parameters could markedly deliver sufficient power under the same conditions with long-time stability.

Novel Evidence for a Reversible Dissociation of Light-harvesting Complex II from Photosystem II Reaction Center Complex Induced by Saturating Light Illumination in Soybean Leaves

After saturating light illumination for 3 h the potential photochemical efficiency of photosystem Ⅱ （PSII）（FJF,, the ratio of variable to maximal fluorescence） decreased markedly and recovered basically to the level before saturating light illumination after dark recovery for 3 h in both soybean and wheat leaves, indicating that the decline in FJ/Fm is a reversible down-regulation. Also, the saturating light illumination led to significant decreases in the low temperature （77 K） chlorophyll fluorescence parameters F685 （chlorophyll a fluorescence peaked at 685 nm） and F685/F735 （F735, chlorophyll a fluorescence peaked at 735 nm） in soybean leaves but not in wheat leaves. Moreover, trypsin （a protease） treatment resulted in a remarkable decrease in the amounts of PsbS protein （a nuclear gene psbS-encoded 22 kDa protein） in the thylakoids from saturating light-illuminated （SI）, but not in those from darkadapted （DT） and dark-recovered （DRT） soybean leaves. However, the treatment did not cause such a decrease in amounts of the PsbS protein in the thylakoids from saturating light-illuminated wheat leaves. These results support the conclusion that saturating light illumination induces a reversible dissociation of some light-harvesting complex Ⅱ （LHClI） from PSII reaction center complex in soybean leaf but not in wheat leaf.

Repetitive magnetic stimulation affects the microenvironment of nerve regeneration and evoked potentials after spinal cord injury

Repetitive magnetic stimulation has been shown to alter local blood flow of the brain, excite the corticospinal tract and muscle, and induce motor function recovery. We established a rat model of acute spinal cord injury using the modified Allen＇s method. After 4 hours of injury, rat models received repetitive magnetic stimulation, with a stimulus intensity of 35% maximum output intensity, 5-Hz frequency, 5 seconds for each sequence, and an interval of 2 minutes. This was repeated for a total of 10 sequences, once a day, 5 days in a week, for 2 consecutive weeks. After repetitive magnetic stimulation, the number of apoptotic cells decreased, matrix metalloproteinase 9/2 gene and protein expression decreased, nestin expression increased, somatosensory and motor-evoked potentials recovered, and motor function recovered in the injured spinal cord. These findings confirm that repetitive magnetic stimulation of the spinal cord improved the microenvironment of neural regeneration, reduced neuronal apoptosis, and induced neuroprotective and repair effects on the injured spinal cord.

Grain size distribution and topology in 3D grain growth simulation with large-scale Monte Carlo method

Three-dimensional normal grain growth was appropriately simulated using a Potts model Monte Carlo algorithm. The quasi-stationary grain size distribution obtained from simulation agreed well with the experimental result of pure iron. The Weibull function with a parameter β=2.77 and the Yu-Liu function with a parameter v =2.71 fit the quasi-stationary grain size distribution well. The grain volume distribution is a function that decreased exponentially with increasing grain volume. The distribution of boundary area of grains has a peak at S/〈S〉=0.5, where S is the boundary area of a grain and 〈S〉 is the mean boundary area of all grains in the system. The lognormal function fits the face number distribution well and the peak of the face number distribution is f=10. The mean radius off-faced grains is not proportional to the face number, but appears to be related by a curve convex upward. In the 2D cross-section, both the perimeter law and the Aboav-Weaire law are observed to hold.
