Bobbin tool friction stir welding(BT-FSW)is a variant of conventional friction stir welding(FSW).It can be used to weld complex curvature structures and closed sections by adding an extra shoulder instead of a rigid backing anvil,which expands the potential application of FSW in aerospace,railway,automotive and marine ***-FSW has some signifi cant advantages over conventional FSW such as no root fl aws,full weld penetration,low stiff ness requirements for machines and fi xtures,balanced heat input,lower distortion and thus has broad prospects for *** present,there have been numerous research reports on BT-FSW,but its widespread use is still restricted due to various factors such as tool life,process stability,control complexity and implementation *** this paper,the domestic and foreign research progress of BT-FSW is reviewed from four aspects of bobbin tool design and classifi cation,temperature fi eld and fl ow fi eld during welding,microstructure and mechanical properties of welded joints as well as industrial application,and then the possible research hotspots of BT-FSW in the future are pointed *** paper mainly aims to help researchers have a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of BT-FSW.

This paper presents a distributed optimization strategy for large-scale traffic network based on fog computing. Different from the traditional cloud-based centralized optimization strategy, the fog-based distributed optimization strategy distributes its computing tasks to individual sub-processors, thus significantly reducing computation time. A traffic model is built and a series of communication rules between subsystems are set to ensure that the entire transportation network can be globally optimized while the subsystem is achieving its local optimization. Finally, this paper numerically simulates the operation of the traffic network by mixed-Integer programming, also, compares the advantages and disadvantages of the two optimization strategies.

Aptamer-silver nanoparticles （AgNPs） based surface-enhanced Raman scattering （SERS） sensor has been developed for Hg^2＋ detection by employing the structure-switching aptamer in the presence of spermine. This simple method shows excellent sensitivity and selectivity owing to the sensitive SERS detection technique and high specificity of aptamer for binding Hg^2＋.

Objective：Programmed cell death 5 （PDCD5） is an apoptosis related gene and plays an important role in the pathogenesis and development of *** PDCD5 is present in peripheral blood serum has not been *** aim of this study is to determine the contents of PDCD5 protein in peripheral blood serum of cancer patients,as well as normal ***：ELISA was used to detect the serum PDCD5 concentrations in 100 normal persons,83 patients with breast cancer,74 patients with gastrointestinal tract cancer and 41 patients with lung *** results were statistically analyzed and ***：PDCD5 could be detected in peripheral blood serum in both normal subjects and cancer *** serum PDCD5 contents in normal persons ranged from 3.8 to 6.1 ng/ml with a median of 4.70±0.68 ng/*** cancer patients the PDCD5 levels were 4.59±0.90,4.79±1.14 and 10.43±22.34 ng/ml for breast cancer,gastrointestinal cancer and lung cancer patients *** was no statistically significant difference between the serum PDCD5 concentrations of normal persons and cancer ***：PDCD5 is present in peripheral *** PDCD5 levels in cancer patients are not statistically different from that of normal persons,though decreased expression of PDCD5 in malignant tissues has been found.

Active disturbance-rejection methods are effective in estimating and rejecting disturbances in both transient and steady-state *** paper presents a deep observation on and a comparison between two of those methods:the generalized extended-state observer(GESO)and the equivalent input disturbance(EID)from assumptions,system configurations,stability conditions,system design,disturbance-rejection performance,and extensibility.A time-domain index is introduced to assess the disturbance-rejection performance.A detailed observation of disturbance-suppression mechanisms reveals the superiority of the EID approach over the GESO method.A comparison between these two methods shows that assumptions on disturbances are more practical and the adjustment of disturbance-rejection performance is easier for the EID approach than for the GESO method.

Efficacy of laser peripheral iridoplasty and iridotomy on medically refractory patients with acute primary angle closure： a three year outcome

Background Argon laser peripheral iridoplasty （ALPI） is proved to be effective in lowering intraocular pressure （lOP） of patients with mild acute primary angle closure （APAC）. It is unclear whether this laser treatment is equally efficient in managing patients with severe APAC. This study aimed peripheral iridotomy （LPI） on patients with refractory APAC, therapy. to evaluate the IOP-lowering efficacy of ALPI and laser who have previously responded poorly to intensive medical Methods Thirty-six patients （8 men and 28 women） were identified as medically refractory APAC, who still had ocular pain, red eye, hazy cornea, closed anterior chamber （AC） angle, and lOP of not less than 21 mmHg after two days or more of anti-glaucoma medication. All enrolled patients underwent ophthalmologic examinations including measurement of visual acuity （VA）, best corrected VA （BCVA）, lOP, biomicroscopy, and gonioscopy followed by ALPI immediately in the APAC eye and LPI in both eyes. Results All patients were affected unilaterally, with average age of （54.6±11.7）（range, 37.0-75.0） years old. The mean lOP value of the affected eyes dropped from （31.6±7.7）（range, 21.0-39.0） mmHg at enrollment to （18.4±8.7）（range, 10.0-27.0） mmHg 2 hours after ALPI. At follow-up day 7, the mean lOP value maintained at （14.8±4.2）（range, 9.0-21.0） mmHg, which was significantly different （P=0.000） compared with baseline. The average decrease of lOP in the APAC eyes was （16.8±7.4）（range, 12.0-21.0） mmHg. At follow-up three years later, the mean lOP of the APAC eyes stabilized at （16.3±3.2）（range, 9.0-20.0） mmHg with at least 180° of AC angle opened. Conclusion ALPI and LPI lower the lOP of medically refractory cases of APAC though they have responded poorly to anti-glaucoma medication.

In this paper,a new bevel-tip flexible needle path planning method based on the bee-foraging learning particle swarm optimization(BFL-PSO)algorithm and the needle retraction strategy in 3D space is proposed to improve the puncture accuracy and shorten the puncture distance in the case of multiple puncture ***,the movement of the needle after penetrating the human body is analyzed,and the objective function which includes puncture path error,puncture path length,and collision function is ***,the BFL-PSO algorithm and the needle retraction strategy are ***,medical images of the tissue to be punctured are obtained by medical imaging instruments,i.e.,magnetic resonance(MR),and the 3D model of the punctured environment is constructed by 3D Slicer to obtain the environment information on targets and obstacles,and the path of flexible needle is carried out based on the BFL-PSO optimization algorithm and the needle retraction *** simulation results show that,compared with other path planning methods in the related literature,the new path planning method proposed in this paper has higher path planning accuracy,shorter puncture distance,and good adaptability to multi-target path planning problems.

Active and passive anti-Aβimmunotherapies have successfully been used for the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease animal ***,clinical use of these immunotherapies is not effective,because the vaccination is administered too *** 1 month of age,100μL of Aβ3–10-KLH peptide(vaccine,2μg/μL)was subcutaneously injected into the neck of an amyloid precursor protein/presenilin-1/tau transgenic(3×Tg-AD)mouse model.Aβ3–10-KLH peptide was re-injected at 1.5,2.5,3.5,4.5,5.5,and 6.5 months of *** levels of Aβantibody were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,while spatial learning and memory ability were evaluated by Morris water *** was used to detect total tau with HT7 and phosphorylated tau with AT8(phosphorylation sites Ser202 and Thr205)and AT180(phosphorylation site Thr231)antibodies in the *** addition,western blot analysis was used to quantify AT8 and AT180 expression in the *** results showed that after vaccine injection,mice produced high levels of Aβantibody,cognitive function was significantly improved,and total tau and phosphorylated tau levels were significantly *** findings suggest that early active immunization with Aβ3–10-KLH vaccine can greatly reduce tau phosphorylation,thereby mitigating the cognitive decline of 3×Tg-AD *** study was approved by the Animal Ethics Committee of China Medical University,China(approval No.103-316)on April 2,2016.
