Dear Editor, Gender dysphoria （GD） is defined as a marked incongruence between one＇s experienced and one＇s assigned gender. It is characterized by a strong desire to get rid of one＇s primary and/or secondary sex characteristics and to have the primary and/or secondary sex characteristics of the other gender. Here, we present a case of a mother and daughter who were both diagnosed with GD.

Schwarzschild Geodesics in Terms of Elliptic Functions and the Related Red Shift

Using weierstrassian elliptic functions the exact geodesics in the Schwarzschild metric are expressed in a simple and most transparent form. The results are useful for analytical and numerical applications. For example we calculate the perihelion precession and the light deflection in the post-Einsteinian approximation. The bounded orbits are computed in the post-Newtonian order. As a topical application we calculate the gravitational red shift for a star moving in the Schwarzschild field.

Visualizations of the solidification process were obtained by means of X-ray radioscopy within a Hele-Shaw cell filled with a Ga-25wt%In ***-solutal convection in the solidifying melt gives rise to the development of vertical segregation channels( 'chimneys').The probability of chimney formation depends sensitively on variations of both the concentration and temperature distribution.A forced melt flow perpendicular to the growth direction accelerates the growth of the secondary dendrite arms on the upstream side and suppresses the development of secondary arms on the downstream *** primary dendrite arm spacing is increased,whereas the secondary arm spacing remains unaffected. Flow-induced modifications of the local composition were observed within the mushy zone which may contribute to the formation of spacious segregation pattern.

This paper, as a part of a larger research project entitled Amazon. Realities in the Novels and the Imaginary Reports of Travelers, focuses on the following objectives：（1） the ＂referentiality＂ of the text to the external world （goal, empirical stuff）; and （2） understanding fictionality in terms of＂make-believe＂ and the principle of＂internal coherence＂. The main section sets out the theoretical foundation of the relation between facts/events and fiction, both as pragmatic and fictional texts. Then, the paper investigates in which forms and ways existing facts, data, occurrences, events and narratives in various kinds of texts constitute a representation and interpretation of the world. The central focus of the study is on the Amazon region. The study is an experiment in joining together different types of texts around the notion of＂referentiality＂; emphasizing reference to the external world （factuality）, the reading of the component elements of a language and a discourse （narratology）, historical reading against the horizon of expectation （reception theory） and the interpretation of the retrospective.

This paper considers the situation where the liquid metal flow with a free surface covered by an oxide layer is driven by a rotating magnetic *** cylindrical configuration was investigated in an experiment accompanied by numerical *** oxide layer feels the effect of the viscous force arising from the moving liquid beneath and the friction force from the side walls.A complex interaction occurs if both forces are in the same order of *** measurements demonstrate that the occurrence of the oxide layer may lead to an unexpected oscillating behaviour of the bulk *** numerical model was shown to be able to reproduce essential features of the phenomenon in a qualitative way.
