The history of agriculture in the mountainous areas of the lower Yangtze River since the late Neolithic

Understanding the role of agriculture in the development of human societies around the world is an important field of study with many unanswered questions.As a step toward that greater understanding,we have studied the archeobotanical remains at the Jingshuidun site in the mountainous areas of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River in southern Anhui Province which are part of the core area of rice cultivation today.Our analyses of macrobotanical remains and phytoliths formed the basis for the reconstruction of the subsistence economy of ancient humans at the Jingshuidun site from the late Neolithic to early historical times.When our data are combined with that of previous archeobotanical work,we obtain a clearer picture of the development of rice and millet agriculture in the southern Anhui Province region,as well as the spread of millet cultivation.Macrobotanical remains and phytoliths of domesticated rice are present in layers at the Jingshuidun site dated to 4874–4820 cal.yr B.P.(middle-late Liangzhu Period)and 2667–2568 cal.yr B.P.(late Western Zhou Dynasty to the early Spring and Autumn Period).Moreover,macrobotanical remains and phytoliths from the site document the earliest remains of foxtail millet(Setaria italica)in southern Anhui Province,from a layer dating to the late Western Zhou Dynasty and the early Spring and Autumn Period(2667–2568 cal.yr B.P.).These results suggest that the people occupying the Jingshuidun site used single rice farming as far back as 4874–4820 cal.yr B.P.,and they began to plant millet by at least 2667–2568 cal.yr B.P.,documenting the spread of millet agriculture to the southern area by that time.

P_(luxI)mutants with different promoting period and their application for quorum sensing regulated protein expression

Quorum sensing(QS)system can dynamically control the expression of proteins along with the cell growth.The promoting period of QS system has been little focused on until now.In this study,a self-induced dynamic regulated expression(SIDRE)system was constructed in Escherichia coli.To enable the system suitable for the expression of enzymes,promoter engineering was used to obtain P_(luxI)mutants.To test the SIDRE system,alginate lyase AL493 and esterase Est7 were used as target protein for expression.The enzyme activity of alginate lyase and esterase reached 96.38%and 106.71%of the control strains containing the T7 promoter.In high-density fermentation,the activity of alginate lyase expressed by the SIDRE system with P_(luxI)(T-38C)as promoter was 4.34-fold of that expressed by the T7 promoter.Therefore,the P_(luxI)mutants with different promoting periods and/or different strengths show great potential in both laboratory and industrial scale for protein expression.

为提高油气上窜速度计算的科学性和准确性,解决迟到时间法等计算结果不准甚至为负值的问题,曾研究提出了计算结果更为准确的相对时间法。但目前钻井中已广泛使用钻具止回阀,下钻过程中井内钻井液全部从环形空间上返而不进入钻具内部,导致相对时间法的计算结果不再准确。为适应新的钻井工艺,须对相对时间法的计算模型和计算公式进行修正。为此,增加了下钻深度过油气层底部的计算公式,提供了3种井身结构、12种下入深度情形的新的系列计算公式。应用实例分析表明,修正后计算公式的可靠性和适用性得到了进一步提高。

Occurrence characteristics of mercury in high-mercury coal and distribution rule of mercury in products of an air dense medium fluidized bed

Mercury emitted from direct combustion of high-mercury coal does great harm to the environment. To make good use of high-mercury coal, it is necessary to study the occurrence characteristics of mercury in coal and high-efficient methods of mercury removal. In this paper, high-mercury coal of Guizhou Province of China was taken as an object to study the nature of mercury in coal and the rule of mercury removal by dry preparation method. Mercury mainly distributes in the medium and high density fractions, and has a good affinity with silicon, aluminum, iron, titanium, potassium, calcium, zinc, sodium and magnesium. It exists in minerals formed by these elements and presents significant correlation with ash in coal. After the high-mercury coal is separated by air dense medium fluidized bed, mercury content of clean coal is reduced to 1/10 of raw coal, while mercury content of gangue is increased to 3 times that of raw coal. This indicates that mercury in raw coal is rejected greatly by ADMFB and enriched in highdensity fractions. The rates of ash removal and mercury removal decrease with the density and present a very high correlation.

Pmutants with different promoting period and their application for quorum sensing regulated protein expression

Sulfur speciation and bioaccumulation in camphor tree leaves as atmospheric sulfur indicator analyzed by synchrotron radiation XRF and XANES

Analyzing and understanding the effects of ambient pollution on plants is getting more and more attention as a topic of environmental biology.A method based on synchrotron radiation X-ray fluorescence and X-ray absorption near edge structure spectroscopy was established to analyze the sulfur concentration and speciation in mature camphor tree leaves （CTLs）,which were sampled from 5 local fields in Shanghai,China.Annual SO2 concentration,SO42-concentration in atmospheric particulate,SO42-and sulfur concentration in soil were also analyzed to explore the relationship between ambient sulfur sources and the sulfur nutrient cycling in CTLs.Total sulfur concentration in mature camphor tree leaves was 766-1704 mg/kg.The mainly detected sulfur states and their corresponding compounds were ＋6 （sulfate,include inorganic sulfate and organic sulfate）,＋5.2 （sulfonate）,＋2.2 （suloxides）,＋0.6 （thiols and thiothers）,＋0.2 （organic sulfides）.Total sulfur concentration was strongly correlated with sulfate proportion with a linear correlation coefficient up to 0.977,which suggested that sulfur accumulated in CTLs as sulfate form.Reduced sulfur compounds （organic sulfides,thiols,thioethers,sulfoxide and sulfonate） assimilation was sufficed to meet the nutrient requirement for growth at a balanced level around 526 mg/kg.The sulfate accumulation mainly caused by atmospheric sulfur pollution such as SO2 and airborne sulfate particulate instead of soil contamination.From urban to suburb place,sulfate in mature CTLs decreased as the atmospheric sulfur pollution reduced,but a dramatic increase presented near the seashore,where the marine sulfate emission and maritime activity pollution were significant.The sulfur concentration and speciation in mature CTLs effectively represented the long-term biological accumulation of atmospheric sulfur pollution in local environment.

X射线计算机断层扫描（CT）是一种广泛应用于三维物体内部结构重建的技术，但在射线锥角增大时，使用FDK(Feldkamp-Davis-Kress)算法重建会导致图像灰度下降，产生边缘伪影。特别是在板状物体的计算机层析成像（CL）投影转换为等效大锥角CT投影时，利用FDK算法重建会影响重建质量。对此提出了一种基于数据重排的滤波路径变换重建算法，通过双参数组合调节投影曲面以改善大锥角重建效果，而且推导了本算法结合投影转换方法重建时的计算参数，以实现对板状物的重建。结果表明，本算法在参数相同的条件对应的滤波路径下重建效果最理想，在大锥角重建时能够抑制重建图像的灰度下降，减少边缘伪影，而且在应用于CL扫描的印制电路板重建时伪影较少，细节清晰可见。本算法可减少大锥角FDK重建的伪影，结构简便、易于实现，在板状物重建方面具有实际应用意义。

Dust storms in northern China during the last 500 years

The history and mechanisms of dust storms in northern China remain unclear owing to the paucity of reliable longterm,high-resolution geological records.In this study,we reconstructed the dust storm history of the last~500 years in northern China,based on sedimentary coarse fraction(>63μm)of a well-dated core from Lake Daihai,Inner Mongolia.The highresolution data reveal three intervals of frequent dust storms:AD 1520–1580,AD 1610–1720,and AD 1870–2000.The dust storm events in the Lake Daihai area were broadly synchronous with those inferred from other historical or geological records and generally occurred during cold intervals.Changes in the intensity of Siberian High and the westerlies modulated by temperature variations are the likely major factors controlling dust storm dynamics.An interesting feature is that although the intensities of dust storms have been systematically increased during the recent warming period,a clear decreasing trend within this period is evident.The recent increase in average dust storm intensity may be ascribed to an increase in particle supply resulting from a rapid increase in human activity,whereas the weakening trend was likely caused by decreases in average wind speed resulting from the recent global warming.

随着建筑行业的飞速发展,3D点云扫描技术与BIM模型的自动配准成为一大研究热点。现如今建筑工程的科技化发展已经成为必然趋势,且只有依靠现代科技才能实现更高水平的施工工作。基于此,随着BIM技术高速发展、3D激光扫描技术的三维展示性脱颖而出,能够非接触高速精确地获取目标物的三维坐标数据,经过业内软件处理,建立目标建筑物的三维数字模型。点云数据具有几何信息精度高,可真实还原建筑现场的优点,BIM具有丰富的构件几何信息。提出了一种利用BIM网格模型对3D点云进行粗配准的方法,重点以平面作为几何特征,用于将3D点云与BIM网格对齐,从而实现对建筑物施工进度的监测,为建筑行业实现智能化与精确化提供了可能。
