The diatomic ZrO− anion has been prepared by laser ablation and studied by photoelectron imaging spectroscopy combined with quantum chemistry calculations. The observed photoelectron spectra can be well assigned on the basis of reported optical spectroscopy and high-level ab initio calculations. The ground state of ZrO− is a 2Δ state with spin-orbit splitting of 578±12 cm−1. The electron affinity of ZrO is 1.249±0.005 eV. For the first time, the c3∑− state of ZrO has been experimentally observed at 13316±24 cm−1 with respect to the X1∑+ ground state. A comparison between ZrO and the isoelectronic molecule NbN has been made.

Salmonella is one of the most common food-borne pathogens and its resistance in chicken can be improved through genetic *** heterophils/lymphocytes(H/L)ratio in the blood reflects the immune system status of *** compared the genome data and spleen transcriptomes between the H/L ratio-selected and non-selected chickens,after Salmonella infection,aiming to identify the key genes participating in the antibacterial activity in the *** results revealed that,the selected population had stronger(P<0.05)liver resistance to Salmonella typhimurium(ST)than the non-selected *** the selected and non-selected lines,the identified differentiation genes encode proteins involved in biological processes or metabolic pathways that included the TGF-beta signaling pathway,FoxO signaling pathway,and Salmonella infection *** results of the analysis of all identified differentially expressed genes(DEGs)of spleen revealed that the G protein-coupled receptor(GPCR)and insulin-like growth factor(IGF-I)signaling pathways were involved in the Salmonella infection *** analysis of DEGs and FST(fixation index),identified candidate genes involved in Salmonella infection pathway,such as GPR39,NTRK2,and *** extensive genomic changes highlight the polygenic genetic of the immune response in these chicken *** genes related to the immune performance are differentially expressed in the selected and non-selected lines and the selected lines has a higher resistance to Salmonella.

To determine whether the capability of the CMIP6 version of Beijing Climate Center(BCC)models(BCC-ESMI and BCC-CSM2-MR)in simulating China summer surface air temperature(SAT)has improved,we presented a multidimensional evaluation of the summer SAT in China including the trends,modes,and influencing *** comparisons are also made with the results of CMIP5(BCC-CSM1.1 and ***).In general,the CMIP6,especially BCC-CSM2-MR,has smaller deviations in the trends,the means,the mutations,the maximum centers,the variances,and the spatial patterns of the dominant modes from observatio relative to those of ***,the BCC CMIP6 models still underestimate the SAT variation in the qinghai-Tibetan Plateau and the northeastern regions of China,and the performance is unsatisfactory with respect to the physical drivers of the dominant ***,all the BCC models can capture the spatio-temporal characteristics of the first mode well and can,in general,characterize the spatial pattern of the second mode,but none of the models perform well in the principal component of the second mode(PC2)due to the low performance with respect to the interannual variation of ***,the factors influencing the leading two modes are *** two CMIP6 can simulate better the Northern Hemisphere subtropical high northern boundary affecting the first *** factor,the Asia polar vortex area,can only be simulated better by two low-resolution models(BCC-CSM1.1 and BCC-ESM I).For the second mode,all four models simulate the influence of Asian zonal circulation well,but poorly simulate that of the southern Indian Ocean dipole due to a large deviation in the Indian Ocean surface temperature.

An interplanetary shock and a magnetic cloud(MC) reached the Earth on 2012 July 14 and 15 one after *** shock sheath and the MC triggered an intense geomagnetic *** find that only small part of the MC from06:45 UT to 10:05 UT on 2012 July 15 made contribution to the intense geomagnetic storm,while the rest part of the MC made no contribution to the intense geomagnetic *** averaged southward component of interplanetary magnetic field(Bs) and duskward-electric fields(Ey) within the MC from 10:05 UT,2012 July 15 to09:08 UT,2012 July 16(hereafter MC2),are 15.11 nT and 8.01 my m-1,*** to the empirical formula established by Burton et al.(hereafter Burton equation),the geoeffectiveness of MC2 should be-655.42 nT,while the geoeffectiveness of MC2 is-324.68 nT according to the empirical formula established by O’Brien & McPherron(hereafter OM equation).However,the real geoeffectiveness of MC2 is 39.74 *** results indicate that the Burton equation and the OM equation cannot work *** geoeffectiveness of MC2 shows that large and long duration of Bs or Ey cannot guarantee the occurrence of an intense geomagnetic storm if the solar wind dynamic pressure is very *** we use 0.52 as γ,the geoeffectiveness of MC2 is 40.36 nT according to the empirical formula established by Wang et al.,which is very close to the observed value,indicating that the empirical formula established by Wang et *** much better than the Burton equation and the OM equation.

The pollutant loads of surface runoff in an urban tourist area have been investigated for two years in the Wuhan City Zoo, China. Eight sampling sites, including two woodlands, three animal yards, two roofs and one road, were selected for sampling and study. The results indicate that pollutants ranked in a predictable order of decreasing load （e.g. animal yard〉roof〉woodland〉road）, with animal yards acting as the key pollution source in the zoo. Pollutants were transported mainly by particulate form in runoff. Particulate nitrogen and particulate phosphorous accounted on average for 61%, 78% of total pollutant, respectively, over 13 monitored rainfall events. These results indicate the treatment practices should be implemented to improve particulate nutrient removal. Analysis of the M（V） curve indicate that no first flush effect existed in the surface runoff from pervious areas （e.g. woodland, animal ground yard）, whereas a first flush effect was evident in runoff from impervious surfaces （e.g. animal cement yard, roof, road）.

Co-regulation of Dectin-1 and TLR2 in inflammatory response of human corneal epithelial cells induced by Aspergillus fumigates

AIM： To investigate the co-regulation of dendritic cell- associated C-type lectin-1 （Dectin-1）, Toll-like receptor 2 （TLR2）, and relative chemotactic factors in the Telomease- immortalized human corneal epithelial （THCE） cells after exposure to ,Aspergillus fumigatus （Af） hyphae. METHODS： The normal THCE cells were investigated as control. After cultured in vitro with Af hyphae, with or without laminarin and anti-TLR2 antibody for 4, 8, 16 and 24h, THCE cells were harvested. The expression of Dectin-1, TLR2, CXCL1 and CXCL8 mRNA were measured by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction at the stimulation of 4, 8 and 16h separately. The protein expression of Dectin-1 and TLR2 were analyzed at 8, 16, and 24h by Western blot. ~ RESULTS： The mRNA CXCL8 increased in THCE expression of CXCL1 and cells after stimulated by Af hyphae. The stimulatory effects on these inflammatory chemokines were shown in a dose-dependent manner and reached the peak at 8h. Af hyphae significantly stimulated the production of Dectin-1 and TLR2 in THCE cells at both mRNA and protein levels. The protein of Dectin-1 and TLR2 gradually increased till 16h. While pretreated with laminarin （a Dectin-1 inhibitor）, the expression of TLR2, CXCL1 and CXCL8 all decreased dramatically at the peak point, interestingly, when pretreated with TLR2 neutralizing antibody, the expression of Dectin -1, CXCL1 and CXCL8 also decreased dramatically at the peak point. CONCLUSION： These findings suggest that Dectin-1 and TLR2 co-regulated with each other after treated with inactive Af hyphae in the THCE cells, and they contribute together to the inflammatory responses by induction of chemokines CXCL1 and CXCL8.

Parallel interference cancellation for carrier frequency offset in OFDM assisted with recursive least squares algorithm

Parallel interference cancellation （PIC） interference due to the carrier frequency assisted with recursive least squares offset （CFO） in orthogonal frequency （RLS） algorithm is proposed to cancel the division multiplexing （OFDM） system. The proposed algorithm is composed of two stages, which are RLS scheme and PIC scheme. RLS scheme is selected to compensate the frequency offset in the time domain in the first stage, and the interference induced by residual frequency offset is canceled by the PIC scheme in the frequency domain in the second stage. The result of bit error rate （BER） shows that its performance is robust for cancellation as comparison criteria, even though the frequency offset is 0.45. The 16QAM constellation is also simulated to observe the improvements from the proposed suppression schemes.
