BACKGROUND Heart failure is a health burden responsible for high morbidity and mortality worldwide, and dilated cardiomyopathy(DCM) is one of the most common causes of heart failure. DCM is a disease of the heart muscle and is characterized by enlargement and dilation of at least one ventricle alongside impaired contractility with left ventricular ejection fraction < 40%. It is also associated with abnormalities in cytoskeletal proteins, mitochondrial ATP transporter, microvasculature, and fibrosis. However, the pathogenesis and potential biomarkers of DCM remain to be *** To investigate the candidate genes and pathways involved in DCM *** Two expression datasets(GSE3585 and GSE5406) were downloaded from the Gene Expression Omnibus database. The differentially expressed genes(DEGs) between the DCM patients and healthy individuals were identified using the R package “linear models for microarray data.” The pathways with common DEGs were analyzed via Gene Ontology(GO), Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG), and gene set enrichment analyses. Moreover, a protein-protein interaction network(PPI) was constructed to identify the hub genes and modules. The MicroRNA Database was applied to predict the microRNAs(miRNAs) targeting the hub genes. Additionally, immune cell infiltration in DCM was analyzed using *** In total, 97 DEGs(47 upregulated and 50 downregulated) were identified. GO analysis showed that the DEGs were mainly enriched in “response to growth factor,” “extracellular matrix,” and “extracellular matrix structural constituent.” KEGG pathway analysis indicated that the DEGs were mainly enriched in “protein digestion and absorption” and “interleukin 17(IL-17) signaling pathway.” The PPI network suggested that collagen type Ⅲ alpha 1 chain(COL3A1) and COL1A2 contribute to the pathogenesis of DCM. The identification of dominant driving factors for different ecosystem services(ESs)is crucial for ecological conservation and sustainable ***,the spatial heterogeneity of the dominant driving factors affecting various ESs has not been adequately elucidated,particularly in ecologically fragile *** study employed the integrated valuation of ESs and trade-offs(InVEST)model to evaluate four ESs,namely,water yield(WY),soil conservation(SC),habitat quality(HQ),and carbon storage(CS),and then to identify the dominant driving factors of spatiotemporal differentiation of ES and further to characterize the spatial heterogeneity characteristics of the dominant driving factors in the eco-fragile areas of the upper Yellow River,China from 2000 to *** results demonstrated that WY exhibited northeast-high and northwest-low patterns in the upper Yellow River region,while high values of SC and CS were distributed in central forested areas and a high value of HQ was distributed in vast grassland *** CS,WY,and SC exhibited decreasing trends over *** most critical factors affecting WY,SC,HQ,and CS were the actual evapotranspiration,precipitation,slope,and normalized difference vegetation index,*** addition,the effects of different factors on various ESs exhibited spatial *** results could provide spatial decision support for eco-protection and rehabilitation in ecologically fragile areas.

Aggregate-induced emission luminogens(AIEgens) have been widely used in biological imaging, chemical sensing, and disease treatments. The rational design and construction of AIEgens have received considerable research interests during the last few years. Herein, molecular docking-aided AIEgen design has been reasonably proposed and AIEgen TBQZY with excellent ~1O_(2) generation ability has been synthesized. The newly developed TBQZY could efficiently kill S. epidermidis and methicillinresistant S. epidermidis(MRSE) by tightly binding to bacteria and triggering the accumulation of ~1O_(2) in bacteria. TBQZY specifically regulated the immune system and polarized macrophages from M1 to M2 to accelerate the elimination of biofilm in vivo. In addition, healing acceleration was observed in chronic wounds treated with TBQZY, and side effects were ***, TBQZY had extraordinary potential for combating drug-resistant bacteria in the clinical setting. This research not only provided new concepts for the design of AIEgens, but also shed some lights on the discovery of drugs against drug-resistant bacteria.

Constructing three dimensional (3D) covalent organic frameworks (COFs) through the entanglement of two dimensional (2D) nets is a promising but underdeveloped strategy. Herein, we report the design and synthesis of a fluorine functionalized 3D COF (3D-An-COF-F) formed by entangled 2D sql nets. The structure of 3D-An-COF-F was determined by the combination of continuous rotation electron diffraction technique and modelling based on the chemical information from real space. Interestingly, compared to the isostructural 3D-An-COF without F atoms, 3D-An-COF-F showed an improved CO2 sorption ability and higher CO2/N-2 selectivity. Our study not only demonstrated the generality of constructing 3D COFs with entangled 2D nets by introducing bulky groups vertically in planar building blocks, but also will expand the diversity of 3D COFs for various applications.

MgO participates in all stages of sintering,pelletizing,and blast furnace ironmaking,and synergistically optimizing the distribution of MgO in ferrous burden can effectively enhance the interaction within the ferrous burdens and optimize the softening-melting properties of the mixed ***-containing pellets mixed with low-MgO sinter or mixed with high-MgO sinter in the blast furnace ferrous burden structure have opposite softening-melting performance *** the structure of the ferrous burden is magnesium-containing pellets mixed with low-MgO sinter,the magnesium-containing pellets can enhance the interaction of the ferrous burden in the process of softening-melting,which can optimize the composition of the slag phase and improve the slag *** the structure of the ferrous burden is magnesium-containing pellets mixed with high-MgO sinter,the magnesium-containing pellets weaken the interaction of the ferrous burden in the process of softening-melting,increase the content of the high melting point solid-phase particles in the slag,lead to an increase in the viscosity of the slag and difficult separation of the slag and iron,and decrease the permeability of the charge ***,to ensure good permeability of the mixed burden,the following measures are suggested:optimizing the MgO distribution of the ferrous burden,reducing the MgO content of the sinter to 1.96 wt.%,increasing the MgO content of the pellets to 1.03-1.30 wt.%,controlling the MgO/Al_(2)O_(3) ratio of the mixed burden within 1.15-1.32,narrowing the position of the cohesive zone,and maintaining an S value(permeability index)of approximately 150 kPa℃.

Lipogenesis is often highly upregulated in breast cancer brain metastases to adapt to intracranial low lipid *** inhibitors hold therapeutic potential but their intra-tumoral distribution is often blocked by the blood-tumor barrier(BTB).BTB activates its Wnt signaling to maintain barrier properties,e.g.,Mfsd2a-mediated BTB low ***,we reported VCAM-1-targeting nano-wogonin(W@V-NPs)as an adjuvant of nano-orlistat(O@V-NPs)to intensify drug delivery and inhibit lipogenesis of brain metastases.W@V-NPs were proven to be able to inactivate BTB Wnt signaling,downregulate BTB Mfsd2a,accelerate BTB vesicular transport,and enhance tumor accumulation of O@*** the ability to specifically kill cancer cells in a lipid-deprived environment with IC_(50) at 48 ng/mL,W@V-NPs plus O@V-NPs inhibited the progression of brain metastases with prolonged survival of model *** combination did not induce brain edema,cognitive impairment,and systemic toxicity in healthy *** Wnt signaling could safely modulate the BTB to improve drug delivery and metabolic therapy against brain metastases.
