Fine-grained sediments are widely distributed and constitute the most abundant component in sedimentary systems, thus the research on their genesis and distribution is of great significance. In recent years, fine-grained sediment gravity-flows(FGSGF) have been recognized as an important transportation and depositional mechanism for accumulating thick successions of fine-grained sediments. Through a comprehensive review and synthesis of global research on FGSGF deposition, the characteristics,depositional mechanisms, and distribution patterns of fine-grained sediment gravity-flow deposits(FGSGFD) are discussed, and future research prospects are clarified. In addition to the traditionally recognized low-density turbidity current and muddy debris flow, wave-enhanced gravity flow, lowdensity muddy hyperpycnal flow, and hypopycnal plumes can all form widely distributed FGSGFD. At the same time, the evolution of FGSGF during transportation can result in transitional and hybrid gravityflow deposits. The combination of multiple triggering mechanisms promotes the widespread development of FGSGFD, without temporal and spatial limitations. Different types and concentrations of clay minerals, organic matters, and organo-clay complexes are the keys to controlling the flow transformation of FGSGF from low-concentration turbidity currents to high-concentration muddy debris flows. Further study is needed on the interaction mechanism of FGSGF caused by different initiations, the evolution of FGSGF with the effect of organic-inorganic synergy, and the controlling factors of the distribution patterns of FGSGFD. The study of FGSGFD can shed some new light on the formation of widely developed thin-bedded siltstones within shales. At the same time, these insights may broaden the exploration scope of shale oil and gas, which have important geological significances for unconventional shale oil and gas.

Advances in flexible weak-light detectors based on perovskites:preparation,optimization,and application

Background: Glutathione(GSH) is important in antioxidant defense against oxidativestress, which promotes hepatic stellate cells(HSCs) activation during hepatic *** activity of glutamate cysteine ligase(GCL) catalytic subunit(GCLC) is rate-limited andhas crucial role for GSH synthesis. The expression of GCLC is regulated dominantly at thetranscriptional level, and was decreased in HSCs activated from a quiescent state. In thisstudy, a permeable GCLC was generated by fused with hPP10, one of cell-penetrating peptide(CPP) we have identified recently, to transduce GCLC into cells, and evaluated the antifibroticeffects on hepatic fibrosis in an rat ***:(1) construction of prokaryotic expression plasmids pET15b-GCLC, pET15bhPP10-GCLC, expression, purification and identification of the proteins.(2) Assessment ofthe fusion protein hPP10-GCLC penetrating efficiency by Western blot assay, and the catalyticactivity of hPP10-GCLC fusion protein in vitro by detecting total GSH.(3) Analysis ofα-SMA and Collagen 1α2 expression in HSC-T6 cells by Western blotting after hPP10-GCLC transduction in vitro.(4) Evaluation of hPP10-GCLC fusion protein anti-fibrotic effectsin SD rat hepatic fibrosis model made by carbon tetrachloride(CCl4). The pathologicalchanges of the model rats liver tissue were observed by H&E staining and the depositionof collagens were measured by Masson staining, and the total collagens content ofliver tissues were detected using QuickZyme total collagen ***:(1) We have obtained the purified fusion protein of hPP10-GCLC and GCLC fromprokaryotic expression system confirmed by SDS-PAGE and Western blotting.(2) The fusionprotein hPP10-GCLC but not GCLC have permeability and can be internalized intoHSC-T6 cell line in a does-dependent manner. Ethylene carbonate(EC)is the conventional and promising solvent to achieve high energy lithium metal ***,the innate low energy level of lowest unoccupied molecular orbital(LUMO)in EC makes it incompatible with lithium metal,causing uncontrolled lithium growth and low Coulombic efficiency(CE).Herein,we introduced bis(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl)carbonate(TFEC),a carbonate with a strong electron-withdrawing effect(-CF_(3)),which enhances the stability of EC at electrode interface by reducing ion-dipole interactions between Li^(+)and *** the interaction between Li and EC weakens,TFEC and more PF_(6)^(-)anions coordinate with Li^(+),promoting the formation of contact ion pairs(CIPs)and aggregates(AGGs),thereby increasing the inorganic composition within the solid electrolyte ***,the distinct solvated sheath structure favors the decomposition of fluorinated solvents and PF_(6)^(-)anions,forming inorganic-rich electrode-electrolyte interfaces(SEI and CEI),thereby ensuring high stability for both the Li anode and high-voltage ***,when applied in the full-cell Li||LiMn_(0.8)Fe_(0.2)PO_(4),it displays consistent cycling performance,exhibiting minimal capacity decay with a retention rate of 62.5%after800 cycles,substantially surpassing that of cells using base electrolytes(29.8%).

To obtain high-entropy carbide (HEC) joints with excellent high-temperature performance, a (HfZrTiTaNb)C HEC joint featuring a direct diffusion-bonded interface with a Nb-based interlayer was successfully fabricated at relatively low temperatures of 1150-1250 degrees C for 60 min under 10 MPa. Starting from a modified Ni/Nb/Ni composite interlayer with a Nb content of > 64 at%, an alloyed Nb2Ni layer was constructed in situ by accelerating the directional diffusion of Ni atoms from the high-entropy interface into the remaining pure Nb through the Ni-Nb eutectic liquid. Moreover, the excess liquid phase was squeezed out of the bonding region, ensuring the absence of Ni-based compounds. Leveraging the intrinsic interfacial stability and sluggish diffusion effect, the HEC with its original lattice structure, was capable of developing diffusion bonding with the Nb2Ni layer instead of interacting with the liquid phase. The high reliability of the HEC/Nb2Ni bonded interface was confirmed by the coherence of (1 3) (HEC)// (141) (Nb2Ni) and a calculated lattice misfit of 0.044. The HEC joint had a high room-temperature strength of 174 MPa because of the homogenous Nb2Ni layer, which exhibited nanohardness (15.2 +/- 1.5 GPa) and an elastic modulus of 219.9 +/- 17.5 GPa. Furthermore, the strength of the HEC joint did not decrease at 1000 degrees C, increasing by similar to 49% over that of HEC/Ni/HEC diffusion-bonded joints, which have stringent surface flatness requirements. This suggested that the HEC/Nb2Ni interface had excellent resistance to high-temperature softening, even though it was invariably the initial failure location. This work is informative for designing bonding structures and preparing HEC components.
