Given a holonomic sequence F(n), the author characterizes rational functions r(n) so that r(n)F(n) can be summable. The author provides upper and lower bounds on the degree of the numerator of r(n) and shows the denominator of r(n) can be read from annihilators of F(n). This illustration provides the so-called rational reductions which can be used to generate new multi-sum equalities and congruences from known ones.

A chemically closed-loop-recyclable biodegradable polymer,poly(p-dioxanone)(PPDO),is one of the ideal candidates for single-use plastic products due to its suitability for different application ***,when PPDO wastes can be collected,its monomer p-dioxanone(PDO) will be obtained through chemical recycling of these wastes;when cannot be collected,the wastes are able to be biodegraded into harmless ***,unsatisfied thermal stability and low crystallization rate of PPDO restrict its wider ***,based on end-group regulation,we simultaneously realized the significant enhancement of thermal stability and crystallization of PPDO through the simple melt processing with tributyl phosphite(TBP) or triphenyl phosphite(TPP).The model reactions were conducted to investigate the reaction mechanism and theoretical products during the preparation of PPDO/phosphite *** kinds of phosphites were proved to act as the end-capped reagent and chain extender in the melt processing,while TBP presented better *** a result,the activation energy of thermal decomposition was largely elevated,and the unprecedented T_(5%)(the temperature at a weight loss of 5%) and Tmax(the temperature at a maximum rate of weight loss) of PPDO were obtained,i.e.,T_(5%)of ~330 ℃ and Tmaxof ~385 ℃ in N_(2) atmosphere,T_(5%)of ~240 ℃ and Tmaxof ~317 ℃ in air atmosphere,***,the increased crystallization rate,crystallinity,crystalline orderliness,and realizable monomer recovery(yield >90%,purity >99.9%) of PPDO/phosphite compounds were confirmed.

BACKGROUND Bronchial asthma is closely related to the occurrence of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD)in children,which can easily have adverse effects on children’s learning and social *** have shown that childhood asthma can increase the risk of ADHD and the core symptoms of *** with children with ADHD alone,children with asthma and ADHD are more likely to show high levels of hyperactivity,hyperactive-impulsive and other externalizing behaviors and anxiety in clinical practice and have more symptoms of somatization and emotional *** To explore the relationship between ADHD in children and bronchial asthma and to analyze its influencing *** This retrospective cohort study was conducted at Dongying People's Hospital from September 2018 to August *** diagnosed with ADHD at this hospital were selected as the ADHD group,while healthy children without ADHD who underwent physical examinations during the same period served as the control *** and parental data were collected for all participating children,and multivariate logistic regression analysis was employed to identify risk factors for comorbid asthma in children with *** differences were detected between the ADHD group and the control group in terms of family history ofasthma and allergic diseases, maternal complications during pregnancy, maternal use of asthma and allergymedications during pregnancy, maternal anxiety and depression during pregnancy, and parental relationshipstatus (P < 0.05). Out of the 183 children in the ADHD group, 25 had comorbid asthma, resulting in a comorbidityrate of 13.66% (25/183), compared to the comorbidity rate of 2.91% (16/549) among the 549 children in the controlgroup. A 110-year ensemble simulation of an ocean general circulation model (OGCM) was analyzed to identify the modulation of salinity interdecadal variability on El Nino-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) amplitude in the tropical Pacific during 1901-2010. The simulating results show that sea surface salinity (SSS) variation in the region exhibits notable and coherent interdecadal variability signal, which is closely associated with the Interdecadal Pacific Oscillation (IPO). As salinity increases or reduces, the SSS modulations on ENSO amplitude during its warm/cold events vary asymmetrically with positive/negative IPO phases. Physically, salinity interdecadal variability can enhance or reduce ENSO-related conditions in upper-ocean stratification, contributing noticeably to ENSO variability. Salinity anomalies associated with the mixed layer depth and barrier layer thickness can modulate ENSO amplitude during positive and negative IPO phases, resulting in the asymmetry of sea surface temperature (SST) anomaly in the tropical Pacific. During positive IPO phases, SSS interdecadal variability contributes positively to El Nino amplitude but negatively to La Nina amplitude by enhancing or reducing SSS interannual variability, and vice versa during negative IPO phases. Quantitatively, the results indicate that the modulation of the ENSO amplitude by the SSS interdecadal variability is -15%-28% during negative IPO phases and -30%-20% during positive IPO phases, respectively. Evidently, the SSS interdecadal variability associated with IPO and its modulation on ENSO amplitude in the tropical Pacific are among factors essentially contributing ENSO diversity.
