Thermogravimetric analysis of bamboo-tar under different heating rates based on distributed activation energy model

Carbon fiber is a kind of new polymer material with excellent mechanical properties and being applied *** process of carbon fiber prepared by bamboo tar,including extraction,condensation,spinning,oxidation and carbonation,is influenced by the pyrolysis kinetics *** this paper,the thermogravimetric analysis(TGA)of bamboo tar produced in the process of pyrolysis and gasification of the bamboo which is known as Phylostachys sulphurea,was analyzed by the distributed activation energy model(DAEM)to understand the kinetic properties and parameters of bamboo *** thermogravimetric analysis of bamboo tar which is used as the raw material of carbon fiber was conducted under 5 different heating rates(i.e.5,10,15,30 and 50℃/min,etc.)in nitrogen *** results show that the activation energy of bamboo tar and the exponential factor increased significantly with the increase of the heating rate,and the low heating rate is advantageous to the extraction of bamboo tar solvent and the thermal polycondensation,which can provide scientific reference for the optimization of carbon fiber *** thermal weight results show that the temperature range of bamboo tar being decomposed rapidly is 213℃-410℃.The ranges of the activation energy were calculated by DAEM,which have small difference in comparisons with five heating rates when the conversion rate is at 0.1-0.6 and the average value of the activation energy is 119 kJ/*** stability range of the activation energy is enlarged when the conversion rate is greater than 0.6 and heating rate increases.

利用铁泥基催化剂构建类Fenton体系可实现污水厂废弃铁泥的资源化利用。热解温度可调控催化剂表面金属和非金属位点组成,影响其对过氧化氢(H_(2)O_(2))的活化效果。对不同热解温度(400~700℃)下制备的催化剂进行形貌、组成、结构和活性等方面的测试。研究发现,700℃下制备的催化剂活化H_(2)O_(2),在100 min内对亚甲基蓝(MB)降解率达92.0%。当热解温度在400~700℃范围内增大时,催化剂比表面积和C含量均增大。机理探究表明,催化剂表面的Fe0、C==C/C—C和C==O活性位点对活化H_(2)O_(2)发挥重要作用,有利于促进亚甲基蓝降解。此外,铁泥基催化剂/H_(2)O_(2)体系中羟基自由基(·OH)和单线态氧(^(1)O_(2))是主要活性物种,超氧自由基(O_(2)^(·-))发挥作用较小。

Oral insulin delivery has received the most attention in insulin formulations due to its high patient compliance and, more importantly, to its potential to mimic the physiologic insulin secretion seen in non-diabetic individuals. However, oral insulin delivery has two major limitations： the enzymatic barrier that leads to rapid insulin degradation, and the mucosal barrier that limits insulin＇s bioavailability. Several approaches have been actively pursued to circumvent the enzyme barrier, with some of them receiving promising results. Yet, thus far there has been no major success in overcoming the mucosal barrier, which is the main cause in undercutting insulin＇s oral bioavailability. In this review of our group＇s research, an innovative silica-based, mucoadhesive oral insulin formulation with encapsulated-insulin/cell penetrating peptide （CPP） to overcome both enzyme and mucosal barriers is discussed, and the preliminary and convincing results to confirm the plausibility of this oral insulin delivery system are reviewed. In vitro studies demonstrated that the CPPinsulin conjugates could facilitate cellular uptake of insulin while keeping insulin＇s biologic functions intact. It was also confirmed that low molecular weight protamine （LMWP） behaves like a CPP peptide, with a cell translocation potency equivalent to that of the widely studied TAT. The mucoadhesive properties of the produced silica-chitosan composites could be controlled by varying both the pH and composition; the composite consisting of chitosan （25wt-%） and silica （75 wt-%） exhibited the greatest mucoadhesion at gastric pH. Furthermore, drugrelease from the composite network could also be regulated by altering the chitosan content. Overall, the universal applicability of those technologies could lead to development of a generic platform for oral delivery of many other bioactive compounds, especially for peptide or protein drugs which inevitably encounter the poor bioavailability issues.

With the hope of overcoming the serious side effects, great endeavor has been made in tumor-targeted chemotherapy, and various drug delivery modalities and drug carriers have been made to decrease systemic toxicity caused by chemotherapeutic agents. Scientists from home and abroad focus on the research of targeted microbubbles contrast agent, and the use of the targeted ultrasound microbubble contrast agent can carry gene drugs and so on to the target tissue, as well as mediated tumor cell apoptosis and tumor microvascular thrombosis block, etc., thus plays the role of targeted therapy. Recent studies have elucidated the mechanisms of drug release and absorption, however, much work remains to be done in order to develop a successful and optimal system. In this review, we summarized the continuing efforts in under-standing the usage of the ultrasound triggered target microbubbles in cancer therapy, from release mechanism to preparation methods. The latest applications of ultra-sound-triggered targeted microbubbles in cancer therapy, especially in gene therapy and antiangiogenic cancer therapy were discussed. Moreover, we concluded that as a new technology, ultrasound-triggered targeted microbubbles used as drug carriers and imaging agents are still energetic and are very likely to be translated into clinic in the near future.

State-of-the-art research progress of aviation biofuel using biomass wastes

This paper introduced the aviation biofuel technologies, among which the Fischer-Tropsch （FT） syn- thesis and the renewable jet fuel process provide alternative fuels for the potential environmental benefit of re- duced life cycle greenhouse gas （GHG） emissions and the economic benefits associated with increased fuel availability and lower fuel costs. Tianjin University developed a new method （C-LTM process ） to produce wide- cut aviation biofuel from fatty acid methyl esters. All renewable jet fuel processes are low capital cost processes for producing high quality synthetic paraffinic kerosene （SPK） that has superior product properties to other op- tions available today with higher cetane number, lower cloud point and lower emissions, and it can be used in today＇ s tanks, pipelines, pumps and automobiles without any changes, which will save significant expense for renewable grows.

Overview of Bio-Oil from Sewage Sludge by Direct Thermochemical Liquefaction Technology

Sewage sludge is an unavoidable secondary pollution produced in the process of sewage treatment. At present traditional methods of treating sludge (e.g. landfill, incineration or land application) have some disadvantages and shortages. Direct thermochemical liquefaction of sludge is a new treatment method, which has the advantage of both treatment and energy recovery. Research progress and application prospect of sludge liquefaction technology are widely reported, typical liquefaction process with bio-oil production and its main influencing factors are introduced. Besides, the devel- opment of this process is illustrated, and resource and energy recovery of this technology are pointed out to be the ten- dency of sludge treatment in the future.

旱伞草水热炭的稳定性特征及固碳潜能

为探究湿地植物旱伞草水热炭的稳定性特征与固碳潜能,分别在200、220、240℃和260℃下制备旱伞草水热炭,通过元素分析、红外光谱分析、X射线衍射分析、热重分析及化学氧化分析等方法分别探究了水热炭的理化性质及热稳定性和化学稳定性,并对不同温度水热炭的固碳潜能进行评估。结果表明:随着水热碳化温度升高,水热炭产率下降,pH值和灰分含量上升,H/C和O/C降低,-OH、-C-O等不稳定含氧官能团减少,芳香化程度增加。热重分析和稳定性系数(R_(50))分析结果表明,不同温度制备的水热炭的R_(50)值为0.47~0.59。H_(2)O_(2)氧化试验表明,中低温(220℃)制备的水热炭的抗氧化性能最好,其氧化后稳定碳含量为54.14%。此外,固碳潜能分析结果表明,随着碳化温度的升高,旱伞草水热炭的固碳系数在30.21%~31.54%范围内波动,长期固碳潜能的CO2当量为2.76~2.88 Mt·a^(-1)。研究表明:200℃和220℃制备的中低温水热炭具有较好的化学稳定性,且在短期固碳效果上具有优势;而260℃制备的高温水热炭具有最佳的热稳定性和长期固碳潜能,在固碳减排方面具有良好的应用前景。

Background The co-occurrence of depression and anxiety among adolescents is typically associated with suicide *** The study aimed to investigate the symptom-level relationship between suicide ideation and the comorbidity of depression and *** 1501 adolescents aged 12-19 years were assessed using the Patient Health Questionnaire(PHQ-9)and the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale,and 716 adolescents who scored≥5 on both scales were selected as *** analysis was used to identify the network structure of depressive symptoms and anxiety *** were categorised into either the suicide ideation or non-suicide ideation groups based on their scoring on the suicide-related item in PHQ-9.A comparison was made between the depression-anxiety symptom networks of the two ***‘Restlessness’,‘sad mood’and‘trouble relaxing’were the most prominent central symptoms in the depression-anxiety symptom network,and‘restlessness’,‘nervousness’and‘reduced movement’were the bridge symptoms in this network.‘Sad mood’was found to be directly related to‘suicide ideation’with the highest *** network structure was significantly different in properties between the suicide ideation group and the non-suicide ideation group,with‘restlessness’and‘sad mood’exhibiting significantly higher influence in the network of the suicide ideation group than that in the non-suicide ideation *** Restlessness and sad mood could be targeted for the intervention of depression-anxiety symptoms among adolescents with suicide ideation.
