Health indicator(HI)construction is a crucial task in degradation evaluation and facilitates the prognostic and health management(PHM)of rotating *** interference from artificial labeling,the HI construction approaches in an unsupervised manner have attracted substantial ***,current unsupervised methods generally struggle with two problems:(1)ignorance of both redundancy between features and global variability of features during the feature selection process;(2)inadequate utilization of information from different sampling *** tackle these problems,this work develops a novel unsupervised approach for HI construction that integrates multi-criterion feature selection and the Attentive Variational Autoencoder(Attentive VAE).Explicitly,a multi-criterion feature selection(Mc FS)algorithm together with an elaborately designed metric is proposed to determine a superior feature subset,considering the relevance,the redundancy,and the global variability of features ***,for the adequate utilization of the information from distinct sampling moments,a deep learning model named Attentive VAE is *** Attentive VAE is solely fed with the selected features in the health state for model training and the HI is derived through the reconstruction error to reveal the degradation degree of *** case studies based on genuine experimental datasets are involved to quantitatively evaluate the superiority of the developed approach,demonstrating its superiority over other unsupervised methods for characterizing degradation *** effectiveness of both the Mc FS algorithm and the Attentive VAE is verified by ablation experiments,respectively.

To design a propeller for ship power plant,the interaction between ship hull and propeller must be taken into *** main concern is to apply the wake effect of ship stern on the propeller *** this paper,a coupled BEM(Boundary Element Method)/RANS(Renolds-Averaged Navier−Stokes)solver is used to simulate propeller behind the hull in the self-propulsion *** motivation of this work is to develop a practical tool to design marine propulsion system without suffering long computational *** unsteady boundary element method which is also known as panel method is chosen to estimate the propeller *** wakes are treated using a time marching wake alignment ***,a RANS code coupled with VoF equation is developed to consider the ship motions and wake field effects in the problem.A coupling algorithm is developed to interchange ship wake field to the potential flow solver and propeller thrust to the RANS *** on the difference between hull resistance and the propeller thrust,a PI controller is developed to compute the propeller RPM in every time *** of the solver is carried out using the towing tank test report of a 50 m oceanography research *** factor and trust deduction coefficient are estimated ***,the wake rollup pattern of the propeller in open water is compared with the propeller in real wake field.

Vapor pressure deficit(VPD)plays a crucial role in determining plant physiological functions and exerts a substantial influence on vegetation,second only to carbon dioxide(CO_(2)).As a robust indicator of atmospheric water demand,VPD has implications for global water resources,and its significance extends to the structure and functioning of ***,the influence of VPD on vegetation growth under climate change remains unclear in *** study employed empirical equations to estimate the VPD in China from 2000 to 2020 based on meteorological reanalysis data of the Climatic Research Unit(CRU)Time-Series version 4.06(TS4.06)and European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts(ECMWF)Reanalysis 5(ERA-5).Vegetation growth status was characterized using three vegetation indices,namely gross primary productivity(GPP),leaf area index(LAI),and near-infrared reflectance of vegetation(NIRv).The spatiotemporal dynamics of VPD and vegetation indices were analyzed using the Theil-Sen median trend analysis and Mann-Kendall ***,the influence of VPD on vegetation growth and its relative contribution were assessed using a multiple linear regression *** results indicated an overall negative correlation between VPD and vegetation *** VPD intervals for the correlations between VPD and vegetation indices were identified:a significant positive correlation at VPD below 4.820 hPa,a significant negative correlation at VPD within 4.820–9.000 hPa,and a notable weakening of negative correlation at VPD above 9.000 *** exhibited a pronounced negative impact on vegetation growth,surpassing those of temperature,precipitation,and solar radiation in absolute ***_(2) contributed most positively to vegetation growth,with VPD offsetting approximately 30.00%of the positive effect of CO_(2).As the rise of VPD decelerated,its relative contribution to vegetation growth ***,the intensification of spatial variations in temperature an

Arsenic(As) fate in paddy fields has been one of the most significant current issues due to the strong As accumulation potential of rice plants under fooded conditions. However,no attempt was done to explore As methylation and volatilization under non-fooded conditions. Herein, we investigated the effects of water management on As methylation and volatilization in three arsenic-contaminated soils enhanced by biostimulation with strawderived organic matter and bioaugmentation with genetic engineered Pseudomonas putida KT2440(GE P. putida). Under fooded conditions, the application of biochar(BC), rice straw(RS)and their combination(BC+RS) increased total As in porewater. However, these effects were greatly attenuated under non-fooded conditions. Compared with RS amendment alone, the combination of GE P. putida and RS further promoted the As methylation and volatilization,and the promotion percentage under non-fooded conditions were significantly higher than that under fooded conditions. The combined GE P. putida and RS showed the highest efficiency in As methylation(88 μg/L) and volatilization(415.4 μg/(kg·year)) in the non-fooded soil with moderate As contamination. Finally, stepwise multiple linear regression analysis presented that methylated As, DOC and p H in porewater were the most important factors contributing to As volatilization. Overall, our findings suggest that combination of bioaugmentation with GE P. putida and biostimulation with RS/BC+RS is a potential strategy for bioremediation of arsenic-contaminated soils by enhancing As methylation and volatilization under non-fooded conditions.
