The sulfolane-based liquid electrolyte with LiClO_(4)additive for the wide-temperature operating high nickel ternary cathode

An adequate wide temperature electrolyte for high nickel ternary cathode is urgent to further develop high energy density ***,a comprehensive double-salt local high-concentration sulfolane-based electrolyte(DLi)is proposed with specific sheath structure to build stable interface on the LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1O2)(NCM811)cathode at wide operating temperature between−60 and 55℃.Lithium perchlorate(LiClO_(4))in combination with high concentration lithium bis-(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide(LiTFSI)strengthens the internal interaction between anion and cation in the solvation structure,increasing Li+transference number of the electrolyte to ***,the structure and component characteristics of the passive interface layer on NCM811 are modulated,decreasing desolvation energy of Li+ions,benefiting Li+transport dynamics especially at low temperature,and also ensuring the interfacial stability at a wide operating temperature *** a result,the cathode with DLi exhibits excellent high-temperature storage performance and high capacity retention of 80.5%in 100 cycles at 55℃.Meanwhile,the Li||NCM811 cells can deliver high discharge capacity of 160.1,136.1,and 110.3 mAh·g^(−1)under current density of 0.1 C at−20,−40,and−60℃,maintaining 84.5%,71.8%,and 58.2%of the discharge capacity at 30℃,***,it enables NCM811 cathode to achieve a reversible capacity of 142.8 mAh·g^(−1)in 200 cycles at−20℃and 0.2 *** studies shed light on the molecular strategy of wide operational temperature electrolyte for high nickel ternary cathode.

The narrow definition of the digital power system (DPS) is proposed. The architec- ture, features and key contents of the DPS are presented, which include intelligent dispatching system, hybrid automatic control system and data sharing platform. The successful construction of the DPS can greatly improve the performances of power system operating and dispatching, which mainly reflect a fundamental in- crease of the ability of avoiding catastrophes resulting from blackouts of power supply, a significant improvement of economic efficiency of power system opera- tion, and an improvement of decision efficiency of power system developing. The DPS describes a vision of the development of power system and the way to achieve this vision. At the same time, the paper also proposes the principles of the design and implementation of the DPS.

The effect of dispersal on the permanence of population in a polluted patch is studied in this paper. The authors constructed a single-species dispersal model with stage-structure in two patches. The analysis focuses on the case that the toxicant input in the polluted patch has a limit value. The authors derived the conditions under which the population will be either permanent, or extinct.

Herein, we described the physicochemical properties of deproteinized extract of calf blood(DECB) and established a hypoxia model treated with or without DECB to detect the sugar, lactic acid, protein, and ATP contents of mice and then identified and analyzed the differentially expressed genes between two groups using mRNA expression chip. According to the results of the airtight hypoxia experiment, mice in the model+DECB group had a signifi? cantly prolonged time of hypoxia tolerance compared with the model group. The biochemical test indicated that DECB could significantly increase the level of sugar, ATP and proteins and reduce the amount of lactic acid in mice. It also revealed that Hmgcs2, Cptla, Angptl4, Cyp8b], and Ehhadh genes were involved in mice energy metabolism, and were closely associated witli metabolic signaling pathway. These results suggest that DECB might be a potential drug to treat metabolic diseases. Among the genes with differential expression under hypoxia, Angptl4, Cyp8bl, and Ehhadh were critical factors for sugar metabolism. Hmgcs2 provided energy directly, and Cptla regulated cellular inflammatory responses, promoting energy metabolism.

Stability is of great significance in the theoretical framework of biped ***-time control and walking patterns planning are on the premise that the robot works in the stable *** this paper,we address the crucial issue of the locomotion stability based on the modified Poincare return map and the hybrid *** akin to the traditional stability criteria,i.e.,the Zero Moment Point(ZMP)and the Center of Mass(CoM),the modified Poincare return map is more appropriate for both dynamic walking arid non-periodic ***,a novel high-level reinforcement learning methodology,so-called active PI2 CMA-ES,is proposed in this paper to plan the exoskeleton *** proposed learning methodology demonstrates that the locomotion of the exoskeleton is asymptotically stable according to the modified Poincare return map ***,the proposed learning methodology is tested by the Lower Extremity Augmentation Device(LEAD)and its effectiveness is verified by the experiments.

Optical wireless communication(OWC)using the ultra-broad spectrum of the visible-to-ultraviolet(UV)wavelength region remains a vital field of research for mitigating the saturated bandwidth of radio-frequency(RF)***,the lack of an efficient UV photodetection methodology hinders the development of UV-based *** key technological impediment is related to the low UV-photon absorption in existing silicon photodetectors,which offer low-cost and mature *** address this technology gap,we report a hybrid Sibased photodetection scheme by incorporating CsPbBr_(3) perovskite nanocrystals(NCs)with a high photoluminescence quantum yield(PLQy)and a fast photoluminescence(PL)decay time as a UV-to-visible colourconverting layer for high-speed solar-blind UV *** facile formation of drop-cast CsPbBr_(3) perovskite NCs leads to a high PLQy of up to ~73% and strong absorption in the UV *** the addition of the NC layer,a nearly threefold improvement in the responsivity and an increase of ~25% in the external quantum efficiency(EQE)of the solar-blind region compared to a commercial silicon-based photodetector were ***,timeresolved photoluminescence measurements demonstrated a decay time of 4.5 ns under a 372-nm UV excitation source,thus elucidating the potential of this layer as a fast colour-converting layer.A high data rate of up to 34 Mbps in solar-blind communication was achieved using the hybrid CsPbBr_(3)-silicon photodetection scheme in conjunction with a 278-nm UVC light-emitting diode(LED).These findings demonstrate the feasibility of an integrated high-speed photoreceiver design of a composition-tuneable perovskite-based phosphor and a low-cost silicon-based photodetector for UV communication.

Though it is well recognized that the space between graphene cover and the metal substrate canact as a two-dimensional(2D)nanoreactor,several issues are still unresolved,including the role of the metal substrate,the mechanisms ruling water intercalation and the identification ofsites at which water is ***,we solve these issues by means of density functional theory and high-resolution electron energyloss spectroscopy experiments carried out on graphene grown on(111)-oriented Cu ***,we observe decomposition of H2O atroom temperature with only H atoms forming bonds with graphene and with buried OH groups underneath the graphene *** model discloses physicochemical mechanisms ruling the migration and decomposition of water on graphene/*** discover thatthe edge of graphene can be easily saturated by H through decomposition of H2O,which allows H2O to migrate in the subsurface region from thedecoupled edge,where H2O decomposes at room *** atoms produced by the decomposition of H2O initially form a chemicalbond with graphene for the lower energy barrier compared with other *** findings are essential to exploit graphene/Cu interfaces incatalysis and in energy-related applications.
