A bio-inspired spider-like structure isolator for low-frequency vibration

This paper proposes a quasi-zero stiffness(QZS)isolator composed of a curved beam(as spider foot)and a linear spring(as spider muscle)inspired by the precise capturing ability of spiders in vibrating *** curved beam is simplified as an inclined horizontal spring,and a static analysis is carried out to explore the effects of different structural parameters on the stiffness performance of the QZS *** finite element simulation analysis verifies that the QZS isolator can significantly reduce the first-order natural frequency under the load in the QZS *** harmonic balance method(HBM)is used to explore the effects of the excitation amplitude,damping ratio,and stiffness coefficient on the system’s amplitude-frequency response and transmissibility performance,and the accuracy of the analytical results is verified by the fourth-order Runge-Kutta integral method(RK-4).The experimental data of the QZS isolator prototype are fitted to a ninth-degree polynomial,and the RK-4 can theoretically predict the experimental *** experimental results show that the QZS isolator has a lower initial isolation frequency and a wider isolation frequency bandwidth than the equivalent linear *** frequency sweep test of prototypes with different harmonic excitation amplitudes shows that the initial isolation frequency of the QZS isolator is 3 Hz,and it can isolate 90%of the excitation signal at 7 *** proposed biomimetic spider-like QZS isolator has high application prospects and can provide a reference for optimizing low-frequency or ultra-low-frequency isolators.

为解决水下传感器的自供能问题,提出一种潜水式尾流激振压电俘能器。通过推导的俘能器流-固-电耦合场数学模型,结合有限元仿真模型,获得俘能器的流激力。仿真与试验数据具有良好的一致性,验证数学模型和仿真的正确性。对于振动柱直径为15 mm的俘能器,增加固定柱直径可有效提高其输出性能。当两柱中心距为20 mm时,PEH_05_15俘能器输出最大电压为23.36V,是PEH_00_15俘能器最大输出电压的1.51倍。PEH_05_20俘能器在中心距为15mm时输出最大电压为41.85 V,同比无固定柱俘能器的输出电压提升了1.21倍。

Differences in spring precipitation over southern China associated with multiyear La Ni?a events

Composite analyses were performed in this study to reveal the difference in spring precipitation over southern China during multiyear La Ni?a events during 1901 to 2015. It was found that there is significantly below-normal precipitation during the first boreal spring, but above-normal precipitation during the second year. The difference in spring precipitation over southern China is correlative to the variation in western North Pacific anomalous cyclone(WNPC), which can in turn be attributed to the different sea surface temperature anomaly(SSTA) over the Tropical Pacific. The remote forcing of negative SSTA in the equatorial central and eastern Pacific and the local air-sea interaction in the western North Pacific are the usual causes of WNPC formation and *** in the first spring is stronger than those in the second spring. As a result, the intensity of WNPC in the first year is stronger, which is more likely to reduce the moisture in southern China by changing the moisture transport, leading to prolonged precipitation deficits over southern China. However, the tropical SSTA signals in the second year are too weak to induce the formation and maintenance of WNPC and the below-normal precipitation over southern China. Thus, the variation in tropical SSTA signals between two consecutive springs during multiyear La Ni?a events leads to obvious differences in the spatial pattern of precipitation anomaly in southern China by causing the different WNPC response.

Advanced oxidation processes have been widely studied for organic pollutants treatment in water,but the degradation performance of radical-dominated pathway was severely inhibited by the side reactions between the anions and radicals,especially in high salinity ***,a singlet oxygen(^(1)O_(2))-dominated non-radical process was developed for organic pollutants degradation in high salinity wastewater,with layered crednerite(CuMnO_(2))as catalysts and peroxymonosulfate(PMS)as *** on the experiments and density functional theory calculations,^(1)O_(2)was the dominating reactive species and the constructed Cu-O-Mn with electron-deficient Mn captured electron from PMS promoting the generation of^(1)O_(2).The rapid degradation of bisphenol A(BPA)was achieved by CuMnO_(2)/PMS system,which was 5-fold and 21-fold higher than that in Mn_(2)O_(3)/PMS system and Cu_(2)O/PMS *** CuMnO_(2)/PMS system shown prominent BPA removal performance under high salinity conditions,prominent PMS utilization efficiency,outstanding total organic carbon removal rate,wide range of applicable pH and good *** work unveiled that the^(1)O_(2)-dominated non-radical process of CuMnO_(2)/PMS system overcame the inhibitory effect of anions in high salinity conditions,which provided a promising technique to remove organic pollutants from high saline wastewater.

Early-stage latent thermal failure of single-crystal Ni-rich layered cathode

High nickel content worsens the thermal stability of layered cathodes for lithium-ion batteries,raising safety concerns for their *** understanding the thermal failure process can offer valuable guidance for material optimization on thermal stability and new opportunities in monitoring battery thermal runaway(TR).Herein,this work comprehensively investigates the thermal failure process of a single-crystal nickel-rich layered cathode and finds that the latent thermal failure starts at∼120℃far below the TR temperature(225℃).During this stage of heat accumulation,sequential structure transition is revealed by atomic resolution electron microscopy,which follows the layered→cation mixing layered→LiMn_(2)O_(4)-type spinel→disordered spinel→rock *** progression occurs as a result of the continuous migration and densification of transition metal *** transition generates gaseous oxygen,initially confined within the isolated closed pores,thereby not showing any thermal failure phenomena at the *** temperature leads to pore growth and coalescence,and eventually to the formation of open pores,causing oxygen gas release and weight loss,which are the typical TR *** highlight that latent thermal instability occurs before the macro-level TR,suggesting that suppressing phase transitions caused by early thermal instability is a crucial direction for material *** findings can also be used for early warning of battery thermal runaway.

利用Matlab软件计算得出滚柱连杆组摩擦副作用力及内外滚柱偏转角的变化情况,分析得到作用力及接触应力最大位置,将其作为滚柱连杆组摩擦副润滑分析位置,并采用弹流润滑理论进行分析.研究结果表明:滚柱连杆副的润滑特性随滚柱半径的增大及液压泵转速的升高而变好;滚柱-连杆副的最小油膜厚度和膜厚比随半径差增大而迅速减小,随滚柱半径的增大而缓慢增大;当滚柱半径选取范围为2.5～3.5 mm,半径差取值范围为0.05～0.55mm时,该摩擦副的润滑状态良好;半径差越小,该摩擦副的润滑状态越好,考虑到实现径向间隙补偿,半径差设计范围为0.3～0.5 mm.

Amorphous Ga_(2)O_(3)(a-Ga_(2)O_(3))has been attracting more and more attention due to its unique merits such as wide bandgap(∼4.9 eV),low growth temperature,large-scale uniformity,low cost and energy efficient,making it a powerful competitor in flexible deep ultraviolet(UV)*** the responsivity of the ever-reported a-Ga_(2)O_(3)UV photodetectors(PDs)is usually in the level of hundreds of A/W,it is often accompanied by a large dark current due to the presence of abundant oxygen vacancy(VO)defects,which severely limits the possibility to detect weak signals and achieve versatile *** this work,the VO defects in a-Ga_(2)O_(3)thin films are successfully passivated by in-situ hydrogen doping during the magnetron sputtering *** a result,the dark current of a-Ga_(2)O_(3)UV PD is remarkably suppressed to 5.17×10^(-11) A at a bias of 5 ***,the photocurrent of the corresponding device is still as high as 1.37×10^(-3)A,leading to a high photo-to-dark current ratio of 2.65×107 and the capability to detect the UV light with the intensity below 10 nW cm^(-2).Moreover,the H-doped a-Ga_(2)O_(3)thin films have also been deposited on polyethylene naphtholate substrates to construct flexible UV PDs,which exhibit no great degradation in bending states and fatigue *** results demonstrate that hydrogen doping can effectively improve the performance of a-Ga_(2)O_(3)UV PDs,further promoting its practical application in various areas.

为了延长径向柱塞马达的寿命,设计了基于力偶原理的新型马达。力偶型马达的形成受马达柱塞数和凸轮环导轨曲线作用数的影响,通过分析马达柱塞数和导轨曲线作用数之间的关系,确定了形成力偶型马达的条件。马达在工作过程中存在相对运动的摩擦副,而相对运动的摩擦副处会产生油液的泄漏。以内马达为例,通过对柱塞在缸体中的径向运动产生泄漏和配流盘配流产生泄漏的分析,确定两处的泄漏公式。对马达原理进行了试验,验证了力偶型径向柱塞马达原理的正确性。

Ononin inhibits triple-negative breast cancer lung metastasis by targeting the EGFR-mediated PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway

The spreading of cancer cells from the primary tumor site to other parts of the body, known as metastasis, is the leading cause of cancer recurrence and mortality in patients with triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC). Overexpression of epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)is observed in approximately 70% of TNBC patients. EGFR is crucial for promoting tumor metastasis and associated with poor ***, it is vital to identify effective therapeutic strategies targeting EGFR inhibition. Ononin, an isoflavonoid found in various plants,such as clover and soybeans, has been shown to have anticancer properties in several cancers. In the present study, we aimed to investigate the effects of ononin on TNBC lung metastasis and the associated molecular pathways. We used various assays, including cell viability,colony formation, Transwell, wound healing, ELISA, Western blotting, and staining techniques, to achieve this objective. The results demonstrated that ononin effectively suppressed cellular proliferation and induced apoptosis, as evidenced by the cell viability assay, colony formation assay, and expression of apoptosis markers, and reduced the metastatic capabilities of TNBC cells. These effects were achieved through the direct suppression of cell adhesion, invasiveness and motility. Furthermore, in TNBC xenograft lung metastatic models, ononin treatment significantly reduced tumor growth and lung metastasis. Additionally, ononin reversed the epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT) by downregulating the expression of EMT markers and matrix metalloproteinases, as confirmed by Western blot analysis. Furthermore, ononin treatment reduced EGFR phosphorylation and suppressed the PI3K, Akt, and m TOR signaling pathways, which was further confirmed using EGFR agonists or inhibitors. Importantly, ononin treatment did not exert any toxic effects on liver or kidney function. In conclusion, our findings suggest that ononin is a safe and potentially therapeutic treatment
