The film cooling performance of a trunk-branch hole is investigated by numerical simulation in this paper. The geometry of the hole is a novel cooling concept, which controls the vortices-pair existing at the mink hole outlet using the injection of the branch hole. The trunk-branch holes require easily machinable round hole as compared to the shaped holes. The flow cases were considered at the blowing ratios of 0.5, 0.75, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0. At the low blowing ratio of 0.5, the vortices-pair at the outlet of the trunk hole is reduced and the laterally coverage of the film is improved. At the high blowing ratio of 2.0, the vortices-pair is killed by the vortex which is produced by the injection of the branch hole. The flow rate of the two outlets becomes more significantly different when the blowing ratio increases from 0.75 to 2.0. The discharge coefficients increase 0.15 and the laterally averaged film effectiveness improve 0.2 as compared to the cylindrical holes. The optimal blowing ratios occur at M=1.0 or M= 1.5 according to the various locations downstream of the holes.

In the natural world,leaf-cutting ants cause vibrations through their mutual scraping of file-scraper *** this study,we designed a Biomimetic Ultrasonic Exciter(BUE)that imitates leaf-cutting *** operating characteristics of the BUE were studied through experimental testing and finite element *** results showed that the BUE could generate stable ultrasonic vibrations,and that the excitation frequency only needed to be half the Output Frequency(OF).This frequency-doubling phenomenon was conducive to achieving BUE *** further explore the phenomenon of frequency-doubling vibration output,this study designed scrapers of five different sizes,conducted excitation and first-order natural frequency measurement tests,and the corresponding finite element *** was found that each scraper could operate in frequency-doubling mode,but the operating frequency and natural mode frequencies did not correspond with one *** further explicate experimental and simulation results,a two-degrees-of-freedom vibration model was *** was evident that the contact relationship between the dentate disc and scraper introduced strong nonlinear factors into the system,accounting for the frequency-doubling phenomenon and the difference between the BUE’s operating and mode *** BUE could be expected to facilitate the production of high-power micro-ultrasonic generators and has potential application value in the fields of mechanical processing,industrial production,and medical health.

Polyurethane elastomers derived from 4,4 ' -methylene bis(phenyl isocyanate), butylene glycol and the low oxyethylene moiety content copolyether of tetrahydrofuran and ethylene oxide, obtained by copolymerization using heteropolyacid-ethylene oxide initiator system, were prepared. The polyurethanes exhibited an increased water absorption and much better low temperature resilience, which remained high even at a temperature of -3 degreesC, while that of polyurethane based upon poly(tetramethylene ether) glycol of the 'same molecular weight, i.e. being 2000, and molecular weight distribution, i.e, in the range of 1.4-1.5, starts to decrease dramatically at 5 degreesC.

The impact wear behavior and damage mechanism of dissimilar welded joints between U26Mn frog and U75 V rail before and after normalizing treatment were studied by cyclic impact *** experiment indicated that the impact wear volume of the joints increased with the increasing number of impact *** main wear mechanisms include pitting wear,mild fatigue wear,delamination wear,and fatigue wear,and plastic deformation was the primary impact wear *** them,fatigue wear had the greatest influence on wear volume,while other wear mechanisms had limited *** impact wear resistance of the base material was better than that of the heat-affected *** treatment was beneficial to improving the impact wear resistance of welded joints owing to its effect to promote pearlite recovery,grain refinement,and uniform distribution of *** martensite generated in the rail welded joints aggravated the impact wear damage to the materials,which should be avoided.

A thermodynamic model for predicting the equilibrium oxygens of 304 stainless steel was developed based on the theory of slag-steel equilibrium,the law of mass conservation,and the ion and molecule coexistence *** the developed model,the Fe-Cr-Mn-Si-Al-S-O-melts reaction system and CaO-MgO-CaF_(2)-FeO-MnO-Al_(2)O_(3)-SiO_(2)-Cr2O_(3)slags were *** oxygen contents calculated by the model are in good agreement with experimental results and reference *** equilibrium oxygen contents in 304 stainless steel mainly decrease with increasing binary basicity(w(CaO)/w(SiO_(2)),where w(i)is the mass percentage of component i)and decreasing *** binary basicity at 2.0 while maintaining temperatures lower than 1823 K will keep the oxygen contents in the 304 stainless steel lower than 15×10^(-6).The equilibrium oxygen contents may also be decreased with increasing content of MgO in slags,which is more significant at lower binary ***,a small amount of FeO,MnO,and Al_(2)O_(3)(about 0-2.5 wt.%)in slags has little effect on equilibrium oxygen ***,it is found that the[C]-[O]reaction may occur during refining process but will not significantly affect the equilibrium oxygen contents.

Autonomous umanned aerial vehicle(UAV) manipulation is necessary for the defense department to execute tactical missions given by commanders in the future unmanned battlefield. A large amount of research has been devoted to improving the autonomous decision-making ability of UAV in an interactive environment, where finding the optimal maneuvering decisionmaking policy became one of the key issues for enabling the intelligence of UAV. In this paper, we propose a maneuvering decision-making algorithm for autonomous air-delivery based on deep reinforcement learning under the guidance of expert experience. Specifically, we refine the guidance towards area and guidance towards specific point tasks for the air-delivery process based on the traditional air-to-surface fire control ***, we construct the UAV maneuvering decision-making model based on Markov decision processes(MDPs). Specifically, we present a reward shaping method for the guidance towards area and guidance towards specific point tasks using potential-based function and expert-guided advice. The proposed algorithm could accelerate the convergence of the maneuvering decision-making policy and increase the stability of the policy in terms of the output during the later stage of training process. The effectiveness of the proposed maneuvering decision-making policy is illustrated by the curves of training parameters and extensive experimental results for testing the trained policy.

Polypropylene(PP) exhibits suboptimal creep resistance due to the presence of methyl groups on its main chain, leading to irregular chain segment distribution, diminished inter-chain interaction, and crystallinity. This structural feature causes chain slippage in PP under stress,significantly constraining its service lifetime. In this study, thermally reduced graphene oxide(TrGO) nanosheets were incorporated into the PP matrix, yielding a nanocomposite with exceptional creep resistance performance. Results demonstrated that at a stress of 25 MPa, a 2.0 wt% TrGO content could enhance the creep failure lifetime of PP by 21.5 times compared to neat PP. Rheology, transmission electron microscopy(TEM),and scanning electron microscopy(SEM) characterization techniques were employed to analyze the mechanism of TrGO's influence on PP's creep behavior. It was observed that when TrGO content exceeded 1.0 wt%, an effective particle network structure formed within the PP matrix. This homogeneously dispersed TrGO-formed particle network structure restricted the migration and rearrangement of PP molecular chains, enabling prolonged stress resistance without structural failure. By combining the time-strain superposition method with the critical failure strain as a criterion, generalized creep compliance curves for PP and its composites were established, facilitating the prediction of material creep failure lifetimes, with a strong agreement between experimental and predicted lifetime values. This research proposes a novel strategy aimed at developing polypropylene materials and products with enhanced long-term stability and durability, thus extending service life, reducing failure risk, and broadening their potential across various application domains.
