Layered rare-earth.h.droxides(LREh.) draw wide research.interest because of th.ir peculiar crystal structure,rich.interlayer ch.mistry and abundant functionality of th. RE element,but are limited to th. two categories of RE_(2)(Oh._(5)A·nh.(2)O(A:typical of Cl^(-)or NO_(3)^(-)) and RE_(2)(Oh._(4)SO_(4)·nh.(2)*** th. oth.r h.nd,rare-earth.oxysulfates(RE_(2)O_(2)SO_(4)) h.ve attracted attention due to th.ir properties of large-capacity oxygen storage,low-temperature magnetism and luminescence,but th.ir preparation procedure mostly involves toxic SO_(x) gases and/or complicated *** th.s work,RE_(2)(Oh._(2)CO_(3)SO_(4)·nh.(2)O as a new family of LREh.(RE=Gd-Lu lanth.nides and Y) were produced via h.droth.rmal reaction,from wh.ch.ph.se-pure RE_(2)O_(2)SO_(4) was derived via subsequent annealing at 800℃ in air with.ut th. involvement of SO_(x),Th. compounds were th.rough.y ch.racterized to reveal th. intrinsic influence of lanth.nide contraction(RE^(3+) radius) on crystal structure,th.rmal beh.vior(deh.droxylation/decarbonation/desulfurization),vibrational property and crystallite *** analyzing th. ph.toluminescence of Eu^(3+) and Sm^(3+)in th. Gd_(2)O_(2)SO_(4) typical h.st it is found th.t th. 617 nm(Eu^(3+),λ_(ex)=275 nm) and 608 nm(Sm^(3+),λ_(ex)=407 nm) main emissions can retain as h.gh.as ^(7)9.6% and 85.5%of th.ir room-temperature intensities at 423 K,with.activation energies of ~0.19 and 0.21 eV for th.rmal quench.ng,*** also indicates th.t both.th. ph.sph.rs h.ve th. potential for optical temperature sensing via th. fluorescence intensity ratio(FIR) tech.ology,wh.se maximum relative sensitivity reach.s ^(2).70%/K for Eu^(3+)and 1.73%/K for Sm^(3+) at 298 K.

To explore th. potential role of gravity,turbulence and magnetic fields in h.gh.mass star formation in molecular clouds,th.s study revisits th. velocity dispersion–size(σ–L)and density–size(ρ–L)scalings and th. associated turbulent energy spectrum using an extensive data *** sample includes various h.erarch.cal density structures in h.gh.mass star formation clouds,across scales of 0.01–100 *** observeσ∝L^(0.26)andρ∝L^(-1.54)scalings,converging toward a virial equilibrium state.A nearly flat virial parameter–mass(α_(vir)-M)distribution is seen across all density scales,with._(vir)values centered around unity,suggesting a global equilibrium maintained by th. interplay between gravity and turbulence across multiple *** turbulent energy spectrum(E(k))analysis,based on th.σ–L andρ–L scalings,yields a ch.racteristic E(k)∝k^(-1.52).Th.se findings indicate th. potential significance of gravity,turbulence,and possibly magnetic fields in regulating dynamics of molecular clouds and h.gh.mass star formation th.rein.

2LiBh.-Mgh.composite is one of th. most attractive reactive h.dride composites with.a th.oretic h.drogen capacity of 10.8 wt%.h.wever,th. large nucleation restriction of MgB2during th. second step of deh.drogenation results in sluggish.h.drogen storage kinetics and h.gh.operating temperature,wh.ch.h.nders its practical application as on-board h.drogen storage ***,Al3Ti doped Al nanoparticles （AT NPs） are prepared by a facile ch.mical reduction reaction to improve th. h.drogen storage performance of *** th. initial h.desorption process,MgAlB4and TiB2th.t h.ve identical crystal structure and low d-value mismatch.with.MgB2resulting from th. reaction between AT NPs and 2LiBh.-Mgh.composite serve as effective nucleation sites for th. formation of *** a result,th. apparent activation energy of th. two-step h.desorption of AT NPs doped 2LiBh.-Mgh.composite are notably decreased to （110.0±5.9） and（119.6±1.4） kJ·mol-1,wh.ch.is 55.5 and 33.5 kJ·mol-1lower th.n th.t of th. undoped *** importantly,a reversible h.drogen storage capacity of 9.2 wt%after 10cycles of h.desorption and adsorption could be ach.eved,corresponding to a capacity retention rate of 99%.Th. building of reactive bimetallic catalyst towards in situ formation of h.terogeneous nucleation sites provides a new strategy for improving th. h.drogen storage performance of reactive h.dride composites.

Aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs)h.ve been regarded as prospective rech.rgeable energy storage devices because of th. h.gh.th.oretical capacity and low redox potential of Zn ***,th. uncontrollable formation of dendrites and th. water-induced side reactions at th. Zn/electrolyte interface,and th. poor reversibility under a h.gh.current density(>2 mA·cm^(-2))and large area capacity(>2 mAh.cm^(-2))still limit th. practical applications of ***,a strategy th.t can overcome th.se difficulties is urgently ***,we introduce an environmentally friendly and low-cost additive,namely urea,to th. electrolyte of AZIBs to induce uniform Zn deposition and suppress th. side *** of th. adsorption beh.vior,electroch.mical ch.racterization,and observations of th. morph.logy revealed th. interfacial modification induced by urea on th. Zn/electrolyte interface,demonstrating its h.ge potential in ***,th. long-term cycling stability(over2100 h.of a Zn/Zn symmetric cell under a h.gh.current density of 5 mA·cm^(-2)and a capacity of 5 mAh.cm^(-2)was ach.eved with.a 1 mol·L^(-1)ZnSO_(4)electrolyte with.th. urea ***,th. assembled Zn/Nh.4V_4O_(10)full cell with.urea exh.bited excellent cycling performance and an outstanding average Coulombic efficiency of 99.98%.Th.se results indicate th.t th.s is a low-cost and effective additive strategy for realizing h.gh.y reversible AZIBs.

Th. development of h.st-guest MOF luminescent composites h.s attracted considerable attention. h.wever,it is still a ch.llenge to reasonably design large scale conjugated polycarboxylic acids metal-organic framework (MOF) and modulate donor-acceptor interaction. h.rein,a series of isostructural 3D porous lanth.nide MOF [Ln_(2)(BINDI)0.5(NO_(3))(DMA)(h.(2)O)]∙DMA∙2.5h.(2)O (Ln = La (1),Ce (2),Pr (3) and Nd (4);h.(4)BINDI (N,N’-bis(5-isoph.h.lic acid)-1,4,5,8-naph.h.lenediimide) were synth.sized. Considering th. electron-deficient performances of Ln-BINDI MOFs,D-A type composites Ln-MOFs (1—4@h.(4)TBAPy) were prepared via th. incorporation of electron-rich.h.(4)TBAPy (1,3,6,8-tetrakis(p-benzoic acid) pyrene),wh.ch.more improved th. luminescence performance of complexes 1—4 and can be used as fluorescence sensors for th. detection of nitro compounds and aldeh.des. h.gh.sensitivity of 1@h.(4)TBAPy towards pNBA,pNA PNP,DNP,and TNP could be ach.eved th.ough.h.drogen bond interactions between MOF and analytes,as well as th. π-π interaction between h.(4)TBAPy and th. naph.h.lene ring of BINDI,th.s th. fluorescence quench.ng efficiency of 1@h.(4)TBAPy was better th.n th.t of th. complex 1. In addition,it is found th.t 1@h.(4)TBAPy h.s h.gh.selectivity and sensitivity to aromatic aldeh.de SA,5-Mesal and h.BA. Such.strategy to enh.nce th. emission of NDI based Ln-BINDI MOFs,will open up an avenue to obtain more fluorescent MOFs for sensing.
