Portable quantum sensors are crucial for developing practical quantum sensing and metrology *** nitrogen-vacancy(NV)centers in diamonds have emerged as one of the most promising candidates for compact quantum ***,due to the difficulty of coherently controlling the ensemble spin and noise suppression in a large volume,it often faces problems such as reduced sensitivity and narrowed bandwidth in integrated lensless ***,we propose a fluorescence signal treatment method for NV spin ensemble manipulation by the exponential fitting of spin polarization processes,instead of integrating the photon *** enables spin state readout with a high signal-to-noise ratio and applies to the pulse sensing protocols for large-volume NV *** on this,we further developed a fiberized diamond-based AC *** an XY8-N dynamical decoupling pulse sequence,we demonstrated a T_(2)-limited sensitivity of 8pT/√Hz and T_(1)-limited frequency resolution of 90 Hz over a wide frequency band from 100 kHz to 3 *** integrated diamond sensor leverages quantum coherence to achieve enhanced sensitivity in detecting AC magnetic fields,making it suitable for implementation in a compact and portable endoscopic sensor.

Diagnosis and treatment experience of atypical hepatic cystic echinococcosis type 1 at a tertiary center in China

BACKGROUND Some hydatid cysts of cystic echinococcosis type 1(CE1)lack well-defined cyst walls or distinctive endocysts,making them difficult to differentiate from simple hepatic *** To investigate the diagnostic methods for atypical hepatic CE1 and the clinical efficacy of laparoscopic *** The clinical data of 93 patients who had a history of visiting endemic areas of CE and were diagnosed with cystic liver lesions for the first time at the People's Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region(China)from January 2018 to September 2023 were retrospectively *** diagnoses were made based on findings from serum immunoglobulin tests for echinococcosis,routine abdominal ultrasound,high-frequency ultrasound,abdominal computed tomography(CT)scan,and *** to the treatments,these patients underwent reexaminations at the outpatient clinic until October *** evaluations included the diagnostic precision of diverse examinations,the efficacy of surgical approaches,and the incidence of CE *** All 93 patients were diagnosed with simple hepatic cysts by conventional abdominal ultrasound and abdominal CT *** them,16 patients were preoperatively diagnosed with atypical CE1,and 77 were diagnosed with simple hepatic cysts by high-frequency *** the 16 patients preoperatively diagnosed with atypical CE1 underwent laparoscopy,of whom 14 patients were intraoperatively confirmed to have CE1,which was consistent with the postoperative pathological diagnosis,one patient was diagnosed with a mesothelial cyst of the liver,and the other was diagnosed with a hepatic cyst combined with local *** the 77 patients who were preoperatively diagnosed with simple hepatic cysts,4 received aspiration sclerotherapy of hepatic cysts,and 19 received laparoscopic *** patients were intraoperatively diagnosed with simple hepatic *** the followup period,none of the 14 patients with CE1 expe

Miniaturized microchip array passive Q-switched solid-state laser

To address the spatial constraints in unmanned aerial vehicle target detection systems, a scheme for a multi-beam scanning passive Q-switched microchip array solid-state laser is proposed. This system utilizes a six-core semiconductor laser array to compactly pump a strip-shaped Nd: YAG/Cr4+:YAG bonded crystal. At a pumping power of 1.6 W per path, it generates six output laser beams with a wavelength of 1064.4 nm, pulse width of 2.4 ns, beam quality of 1.39, peak power of 3.75 kW, and a repetition frequency up to 22 kHz. The entire system's volume is only 2 cmx2 cm x1.5 cm, and achieves simultaneous output of six laser paths. The study investigated the impact mechanism of the initial transmittance of the Q-switching crystal and the reflectivity of the output mirror on the laser pulse repetition frequency and peak power, with a particular focus on the uniformity of the laser output from the pump source cores. The feasibility of using a single laser-bonded crystal to produce multiple narrow pulse laser beams in the nanosecond range was experimentally verified. The research results demonstrate the miniaturized structure's ability to achieve multi-beam emission from a passive Q-switched solid-state laser, providing insights for the miniaturization and integration of laser sources in detection systems.
