Block copolymers(BCPs) with high Flory-Huggins parameter(χ) and balanced surface energy have aroused tremendous interest for ultra-small nanopatterns ***,high χ and balanced surface energy are generally *** fine tune of chain structure might be a useful way to achieve high χ and balanced surface *** realize this,the block copolymer with exactly uniform chain structure,i.e.,defined molecular structure,is highly desirable for accurately evaluating the phase ***,two kinds of discrete oligo ester-b-oligo olefin block copolymers with different chemical structures(oligo lactic acid-boligo olefin BCP,oLA_(n)-b-C_(m);oligo phenyl lactic acid-b-oligo olefin BCP,oPL_(n)-b-C_(m)) were modularly synthesized through iterative growth *** effect of chain structure on segregation strength and surface properties was quantitatively investigated using the discrete BCPs as precise *** the one hand,introducing rigid and nonpolar phenyl groups into oligo ester block has a negligible effect on the chemical incompatibility,as confirmed by the identical high χ values of oLA_(n)-b-C_(m) and oPL_(n)-b-C_(m)(χ_(oLA/C)=0.21 and χ_(oPL/C)=0.19).On the other hand,the incorporation of nonpolar phenyl groups creates balanced surface energy,that is,the high χ and balanced surface energy were simultaneously achieved by oPL_(n)-b-C_(m).Therefore,sub-10 nm perpendicular nanopatterns can be easily produced upon brief thermal treatment,demonstrating its potential application in semiconductor manufacturing with ultra-small feature *** discrete BCP can serve as a quantitative and exquisite model to study the critical contribution of chain structures on phase separation behavior,providing insightful understanding to facilitate the potential application in the chip process.

Owing to their potential applications,as well as their structural diversity,the discovery of novel secondary metabolites from insect-associated fungi has been of interest to researchers in recent *** aim of this study was therefore to estimate the diversity of fungi associated with fungus-growing termites and bioprospecting these for potential secondary *** total,18 fungal species were isolated and described from the gut and comb of Macrotermes barneyi based on 18S ribosomal DNA gene sequence *** activity assays were carried out on all the known fungi,and nine isolates were recorded as active against pathogenic *** escharoidea,the best performing isolate,was grown at laboratory scale and 4,8-dihydroxy-3,4-dihydronaphthalen-l(2H)was isolated and *** minimum inhibitory concentration of this isolated compound against tested pathogenic organisms was found to be 6.25 *** addition,molecular docking studies have revealed that 4,8-dihydroxy-3,4-dihydronaphthalen-l(2H)is a prominent antibacterial agent with a marked interaction with key residues on protein A(agrAc)that regulates the accessory *** findings of this study support the drug discovery of antimicrobial properties in insect-associated fungi,which may lead to novel secondary metabolites.

Objective: To evaluate the effect of manual acupuncture on endometrial blood flow parameters by three-dimensional(3D) power Doppler ultrasound in women undergoing in vitro fertilization embryo transfer(IVF-ET). Methods: Seventy patients undergoing IVF-ET were equally randomized into traditional or sham acupuncture treatment group for totally 4 days(from the day of oocyte aspiration to the day of embryo transfer) of treatment by random envelope method at the Reproductive Medicine Center and Outpatient Department of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medicine College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology from January 2013 to December 2015. Patients in the traditional acupuncture group accepted traditional acupuncture methods with manual acupuncture, and Zhongji(CV3), Qihai(CV 6), Sanyinjiao(SP6), Taichong(LR 3), Tianshu(ST 25), Guilai(ST 29) and Zusanli(ST 36) were chosen. Patients at the sham acupuncture group accepted shallow acupuncture methods at 4 non-meridian points at each shoulder and upper arm. Outcome measures included endometrial ultrasonic indices such as vascularization index(VI), flow index(FI) and vascularization flow index(VFI), endometrial thickness and volume, subendometrial VI(sVI), subendometrial FI(sFI), subendometrial VFI(sVFI), implantation rate, clinical pregnancy rate, abortion rate, live birth rate and number of live births. Results: Finally, 34 patients in the traditional acupuncture group and 35 in the sham acupuncture group completed this trial. VI, FI and VFI of the traditional acupuncture group were significantly higher than those in the sham acupuncture group(P0.05). To explore the potential role of gravity,turbulence and magnetic fields in high-mass star formation in molecular clouds,this study revisits the velocity dispersion–size(σ–L)and density–size(ρ–L)scalings and the associated turbulent energy spectrum using an extensive data *** sample includes various hierarchical density structures in high-mass star formation clouds,across scales of 0.01–100 *** observeσ∝L^(0.26)andρ∝L^(-1.54)scalings,converging toward a virial equilibrium state.A nearly flat virial parameter–mass(α_(vir)-M)distribution is seen across all density scales,withα_(vir)values centered around unity,suggesting a global equilibrium maintained by the interplay between gravity and turbulence across multiple *** turbulent energy spectrum(E(k))analysis,based on theσ–L andρ–L scalings,yields a characteristic E(k)∝k^(-1.52).These findings indicate the potential significance of gravity,turbulence,and possibly magnetic fields in regulating dynamics of molecular clouds and high-mass star formation therein.

Lilies are widely cultivated for cut flowers,but their large anthers carry a considerable amount of colored pollen that is dispersed *** the molecular mechanism of anther development and dehiscence could help solve this ***21,encoding a putative R2R3v-myb avian myeloblastosis viral oncogene homolog(MYB)transcription factor,was identified from oriental lilies(Lilium‘Siberia’).Real-time quantitative PCR analysis showed that LoMYB21 was mainly expressed in the anther,filament and stigma and had high expression during the late stages of lily anther ***21 had transactivation activity and was located in the nucleus through yeast one-hybrid assays and transient expression in Nicotiana *** of LoMYB21 by virus-induced gene silencing(VIGS)in Lilium‘Siberia’led to anther indehiscence and reduced the expression of genes related to Jasmonate acid(JA)biosynthesis and signal *** of LoMYB21 in DEX::LoMYB21 transgenic Arabidopsis caused procumbent inflorescences that became infertile,accompanied by higher expression of JA biosynthetic and signaling *** results demonstrated that JA content and signaling were abnormal in silenced lily and transgenic LoMYB21 Arabidopsis,which affected anther *** study indicated that LoMYB21 could regulate lily anther dehiscence through JA biosynthesis and signaling during the late stages of anther development.

This paper investigates the age of information(AoI)-based multi-user mobile edge computing(MEC)network with partial offloading *** weighted sum AoI(WSA)is first analyzed and derived,and then a WSA minimization problem is formulated by jointly optimizing the user scheduling and data *** to the non-analytic expression of the WSA *** optimization variables and the unknowability of future network information,the problem cannot be solved with known solution ***,an online Joint Partial Offloading and User Scheduling Optimization(JPOUSO)algorithm is proposed by transforming the original problem into a single-slot data assignment subproblem and a single-slot user scheduling sub-problem and solving the two sub-problems *** analyze the computational complexity of the presented JPO-USO algorithm,which is of O(N),with N being the number of *** results show that the proposed JPO-USO algorithm is able to achieve better AoI performance compared with various baseline *** is shown that both the user’s data assignment and the user’s AoI should be jointly taken into account to decrease the system WSA when scheduling users.
