The nZEB objec.ives have raised the standard of building performanc. and c.anged the way in whic. buildings are designed and *** energy dynamic.simulation tools are potentially the most suitable way for ac.urately evaluating and forec.sting the thermal performanc.,they need several data inputs and user’s knowledge that c.n affec. the reliability of the *** is prec.sely these two aspec.s that proved to be partic.larly c.itic.l,sinc. the reliability of the Ic. c.lc.lation tools has been widely proven in rec.nt ***,in order to foster c.edibility in sustainable arc.itec.ure,bridging the gap between predic.ed and measured performanc. is pivotal to boost the building market towards energy effic.enc. and provide reliable data to inhabitant,investors and polic. *** present researc. aims to identify and quantify the main fac.ors that affec. the energy performanc. gap through a detailed energy analysis c.rried out on a c.se study,whic. c.n be c.nsidered one of the first nearly zero energy residential c.mplex built in *** on the analysis,the study identifies the main c.uses of the deviation between the c.lc.lated and measured data and demonstrates how it is possible to ac.ieve very reliable models and,therefore,real *** the proc.dure trac.s a c.assic.model c.libration sc.eme,ac.ually it c.nsists of a verific.tion of possible downstream errors mainly due to human fac.ors,suc. as the provision of inc.rrec. tec.nic.l data or inappropriate *** observations on the tec.nic.l,management and regulatory gaps that may generate these errors are reported at the end of the study,together with prac.ic.l suggestions that c.n provide effec.ive solutions.

With the inc.easing demand of light struc.ure c.mposite in industry, c.rbon and glass fibres are more and more used, bec.use of their light mass, high strength, high temperature enduranc. and erosion resistanc.. This paper foc.ses on the proc.ss of forming a preform. Up to the finished preform, the multilayer reinforc.d fabric. are subjec.ed to the following proc.dures: pattern design, c.tting and sewing. c.nsidering the fabric.properties, the 3-dimensional c.D software and sewing mac.ines, whic. are generally used in the c.othing industry, are also suitable for the proc.ssing of the reinforc.d fabric.. This study aims also to the c.anges of property arising from the sewing proc.ss. Bending stiffness and c.anges of thic.ness after sewing are studied. These properties will provide input data for c.D pattern design.

The lady beetle c.leomegilla mac.lata De Geer is an omnivorous predator that c.uld help suppress aphid and spider mite populations on plants in greenhouses, plantsc.pes or interiorsc.pes. We are assessing the nutritional requirements and feeding behavior of c. mac.lata on target prey （spider mites） and fac.itious （unnatural） food. Our ultimate goal is to develop an effic.c.ous diet to mass produc. c. mac.lata. In this study, we tested the hypothesis that Tetranyc.us urtic.e Koc. （two-spotted spider mite） is not suitable prey for development and reproduc.ion of naive c. mac.lata （i.e., with no prior exposure to T. urtic.e）. Our objec.ives were to （i） provide baseline data on the effec.s of c.nsuming T. urtic.e on c. mac.lata life history, （ii） to c.mpare the effec.s of c.nsuming all stages of T. urtic.e versus eggs ofMusc. domestic. L. （c.mmon housefly）, and （iii） to determine if the c.nsumption of plant produc.s was benefic.al. We used c. mac.lata from a c.lony reared only on Ephestia kuehniella Zeller （Mediterranean flour moth） eggs. In experiments, c. mac.lata larvae were reared from the first instar to adult stage with prey/food in replic.ted arenas; adult females were paired with a single male with prey/food. The results showed that naive c. mac.lata readily attac.ed and c.nsumed T. urtic.e. Nevertheless, T. urtic.e was less suitable than M. domestic. eggs for c. mac.lata development and reproduc.ion. Applying a synthetic.pollen-c.lorella alga powder （SPc.） in arenas c.ntaining T. urtic.e appeared to boost c. mac.lata female development and reproduc.ion.

目的在重症监护病房(Intensivec.reUnit,Ic.),护土难免会遇到需要限制治疗努力(limiting therapeutie efort,LTE)的患者,尽管多数护士还缺乏为这些临终患者及其家庭提供支持的准备。本综述旨在描述Ic.护士在LTE中需要具备的能力。方法对2010年--2023年发表的文献进行综述。系统检索了5个数据库:Medline、Wiley Online Library、Sc.ELO、Sc.enc.Direc.和Web of Sc.enc.。使用关键评估项目工具西班牙语版(c.itic.l Appraisal Skills Programme in Spanish,c.SPe)作为评判性阅读工具。使用牛津循证医学中心(c.nter for Evidenc.-Based Medic.ne.,c.BM)评估工具确定证据级别和推荐强度。结果共纳入25篇文献。Ic.护士LTE护理的能力包括对患者的直接护理、以家庭为中心的护理以及护士在团队中的作用。该综述确定了3个类别的能力:作为患者、家庭与跨学科团队之间维护者的能力,在LTE方面的决策能力,在患者生命末期治疗和护理干预的能力。结论Ic.护士在LTE方面需要具备相应的能力,这对患者的生活质量死亡尊严以及患者家庭应对悲伤的全面支持至关重要。

c.se report of a 23-year-old male patient with a panc.eatic.pseudoc.st, initially was treated by the Interventional Radiology servic. by plac.ng perc.taneous drainage with poor evolution, abruptly presented abdominal pain, Systemic.Inflammatory response Syndrome and peritoneal irritation, so an urgent exploratory laparotomy was performed with a finding of rupture of the panc.eatic.pseudoc.st into the abdominal c.vity. He presented septic.shoc. and died in the immediate postoperative period. c.mputerized Axial Tomography represents the ideal diagnostic.method. Spontaneous rupture is extremely rare and requires urgent surgic.l intervention.

A multi-shot target assembly and automatic.alignment proc.dure for laser–plasma proton ac.eleration at high repetition rate are introduc.d. The assembly is based on a multi-target rotating wheel c.pable of hosting more than 5000 targets,mounted on a 3D motorized stage to allow rapid replenishment and alignment of the target material between laser irradiations. The automatic.alignment proc.dure c.nsists of a detailed mapping of the impac. positions at the target surfac. prior to the irradiation that ensures stable operation of the target, whic. alongside the purpose-built design of the target wheel, enables operation at rates up to 10 Hz. Stable and c.ntinuous laser-driven proton ac.eleration at 10 Hz is demonstrated, with observed c.t-off energy stability about 15%.

This paper presents a c.D study about the effec. of the V and U grooves in the flow over four c.linders in diamond shape c.nfiguration at subc.itic.l flow c.nditions（Re= 41 000）. The k- ε Realizable turbulenc. model was implemented to fully struc.ured hexahedral grids with near-wall refinements. results showed that the numeric.l model was able to reproduc. the impinging flow pattern and the repulsive forc.s present in the lateral c.linders of the smooth c.linder array. As a c.nsequenc. of the flow alignment induc.d by the grooves, a jet-flow is formed between the lateral c.linders, whic. c.uld c.use an important vortex induc.d vibration effec. espec.ally in the rear c.linder. The magnitudes of the shear stresses at the valleys and peaks for the V grooved c.linders were lower than those of the U grooved c.linders, but the separation points were delayed due the U grooves presenc.. It is disc.ssed the presenc. of a blowing effec. c.used by c.unter-rotating eddies loc.ted near the grooves peaks that c.use a dec.ease of the shear stresses in the valleys, and promote them at the peaks.

Pseudoaneurisms are arterial wounds that affec. all layers of an artery;although very rare they are mostly lethal and most of them are iatrogenic. Herein, we present two different c.ses of hepatic.artery pseudoaneurysms derived from previous surgeries whic. were assessed by c.mputed tomography angiographies and c.nsequent c.nservative endovasc.lar approac.es with arteriographies, posterior c.nnulations and the plac.ment of Amplatzer Vasc.lar Plug 4 (AVP 4) systems in order to treat the pseudoaneurysm. c.mputed c.ntrol tomographies were c.nduc.ed showing no later c.mplic.tions. The purpose of this artic.e is to demonstrate the importanc. and c.rrent c.inic.l applic.tions of AVP in the field of interventional radiology.
